"Why would I?.... All you did is yell, Some've done worse...." she murmured, not exactly awake yet, the effects of Raen's spell still lingering about her.

Syanthe sighed and relaxed into the chair next to the bed.
Father Michael nodded as he walked into the room, acknowledging Saro's being awake. He asked slowly and collectively, "Are you feeling better? If not, Ako could probably heal you some more." He then saw Ako and shook his head and muttered, "Or not..."

"I'm fine." she said sharply, not bothering to open her eyes to glare at him. She ignored her blood-soaked clothes for the moment, hoping Karik had gone to convince Akarni to hand something over. She had left most her things on the ship when she left, and she used Karik to get it for her, if Akarni would let him take it.

Syanthe leaned back and fell asleep, exhausted from all the excitement the day had.

"Saro's, he's coming." Karik said, stepping from the wall. "What?!?" she shrieked, her voice rising an octave or two. "He wants to see how his "precious little girl" is after meeting the thing he summoned years ago." he said coldly. "The lieing bast..." she started to mutter under her breath before looking to the others in the room. "Get out, now. Please, you can't be here when he comes." she said, her order shifting to a plead.

Father Michael frowned and looked to Syanthe then to Ako's body on the floor.
"You make it look like a murder scene..." She mumbled, helping him carry Ako to the room next door.

Raen and Zyriaut followed, pulling the door shut behind them. Raen hummed a simple spell to allow them to see and hear what was going on in the room as Akarni materialized.
Saro glowered at him as Karik moved to the corner of the room. "A miracle, you survived." he remaked dryly, watching her."Oh yes, thank you for summoning the damn thing and setting it on me." she spat, to which he laughed. "Saro dear, do you honestly think I would give you anything you couldnt handle?" he asked, glaring at her when she started to respond. "Besides, now you owe him, what, another year? for saving you again. And, as he serves me, technically you're mine for, three years?" he said, smiling wickidly. "You-" she started, after finally finding the ability to speak. "Would you honestly call me everything you were about to?" he asked, cutting her off."Yes. I don't know how Takari could stand you, much less sleep wit-" she was cut off as she was thrown to the floor, landing heavily on her side. "Or why she stayed with you as long as she did. Perhaps only because of me?" she asked, gasping as he kicked her to make her stop. "Or how she dealt with this." She was now pinned against the wall, the dagger from her belt at her throat, shinning brightly.

Ako's alter ego set in and before she even could comprehend what was going on, she found her self between Akarni and Saro. She gasped, but was cut off as the alter ego set in again. "Don't touch her." She found herself growling, her lips pulled back into a snarl as she glared at Akarni, her head lowered giving it an ominious look.
Father Michael gasped when he saw Ako in the picture that Raen provided. He looked behind him to see that she was gone. He began to rush out of the room when Syanthe grabbed him.
"Let's see what happens." Syanthe said, her own face gaurded and shadowed.

He completly ignored Ako, continueing to taunt Saro around her. "You mother had enough sense to keep her mouth shut, a trait you've always lacked." "No, she knew what would happen if she spoke out. I would think that you'd have figured out by now that I could care less what you do to me, I still won't shut up." she spat, after which he started to push foreward but found Ako there. A grin played across his face, as he sensed Raen's magic. "Do they know what you've done? Yes, you were a pirate, but do they know everything? Does you're precious priest," he he turned to Ako, "know that it wasn't me, but her who had done it?" he looked back to Saro. "You know Takari only left because of you. She never would have had her child with him, and you wouldn't have been told to do as you were. Unfortunatly, you did leave my knife there..." His voice was quiet throughout the whole thing, eyes dancing wickedly as he watched Saro's head fall foreward, her hair falling to conceal her face. He played with the knife, twirling it through his fingers.

Agitated at the man's words Ako allowed her alter ego to take over completely, letting herself fall into her subconcious. "Frankly, I don't give a damn," With that, Ako's alter ego ((we're calling her Oka from now on... sweatdrop )) burst forward, a barrier of impenetrable ice around her. Her hands shot forward, pressing his major chi points so he couldn't perform magic.
Father Michael struggled to leave, but stopped as he saw Oka attack Akari.

He pulled away and glared at Karik, who sighed and opened a portal through the shadows for him, which closed after he stepped through it.
"I have as much of a choice as she does." he explained to Ako, or Oka, or whoever it was or who happened to be listening. "Though he won't be back for some time..."

Ako fell back into herself to hear what Karik said. Oka whispered at the edge of her mind, If I see that man again, I will kill him, wether it be through your body or not... Ako was about to ask who when she realized it was Akarni she was talking about. She turned back to look at Saro, the barrier dropping.
Father Michael rushed from the room once Akarni left and embraced Ako, "Don't ever do that again."
Syanthe followed and replied, "I don't think she had a choice in the matter."

Saro said nothing, and if nothing pressed herself more against the wall. She was positive he'd ask about what Akarni had said, particularly about Takari...
Raen dropped the image and Zyriaut entered the other room quietly, sitting in a chair on the opposite end of the room.

Ako put her hand on Saro's shoulder, "I'm sorry for interrupting, I hope I haven't angered you..." Her voice was meek and weary.
Father Michael opened his mouth to say something but shut it, shaking his head. He opened it again, but closed it quickly after.
Syanthe grabbed Father Michael's arm and led him to the bence near the bed. She sat down with him.
"Is it true what he said?" Father Michael asked quietly.
Ako cut in sharply, "It doesn't matter if it's true. She's a friend now and we can't let her be taken by such a monster."

"It's fine...." she murmured, a hand shifting to hold her ribs. Her head seemed to sink lower at Ako's and the priest's words. "Yes... Everything... And that's only what he thought would effect you, there's so much more...." she half-whispered.
