Seeing the flying beast Khenu grabbed Aura's wrists and squeezed his eyes shut. He provoked himself into phasing, and since he was holding onto Aura, she phased with him. So now they would find themselves back inside, at the top of the stairs.

Bastet saw them phase and leaped after them. She would protect Khenu and Aura as well, with the protection around them, everything should go find. She moved almost with a primitive savagery taking down anything that came near Khenu and Aura.

Spying an object that resembled something Aura owned. Eclipse made his way to it, killing shadows on the way. he snatched it up in his jaws and recognized the taste on it as Bastet. Weaving in out and through shadows to get to her, he soon found himself beside her where he dropped th sai at her feet. Then taking up defense of his master as well along side the cat woman.

Fu leaped up onto the roof near Lady Bastet...tucking the Zatoichi under his arm, slicing his wrist upon the upturned blade, and pressing his hands together as droplets spattered at his feet..
" ....I'll take care of the big bird."
The blood begins to steam from the ground, forming a swirling red torrent of air.
" Hoh!"
The torrent begins to snake upwards like a whip of swirling air, striking at the large animal....

The barrier above wavered and cracked, but stayed standing, and some of the fiends even used their own bodies to physically patch it. Below, the titanic shadow slammed large fists down on where Aura and Khenu were, then roared angrily and turned against Bastet, hoping to be more successful.

Aura nodded to Khenu and put an arm around his shoulders then flung the blade she had been given down the stairs, taking out a few creatures with its path. "Hey Vik! You might need that!"She took up he sais again, helping the rest of the party pick things off as they came.
She whirled around, noticing the large creature. "Not good..." She then looked past it to see the barrier being repaired. "Even worse..." Aura looked down to Khenu. "Do that again Khenu. We need to get back out there...think you can try?"

Bastet wavered on her feet, rolled and picked up her sai thanks to Eclipse. She looked at Aura and Khenu, seeing that they were ok, she decided instead of going back to them to put them in danger she faught where she was. She used her sai and claws, at first not doing much more than being a distraction. Then as she rolled behind it she leaped and struck from above with all her blades pointing down.

((A battle?? Agaisnt the forces of evil...and you don't dare call your angel?? Just joking. Hi everyone. And feel free to laugh at my entrance. Since I've seen it done I always wanted to do this))
Pheaura was crouched in the corner of her room reeling in pain. She gripped her head trying to make the dark energy inside her now disappear. A voice coming from the darkness inside her (which is obvisouly caused by the shadows) whispers words she thought she heard in a dream once. "De Fala," she begins, her voice weak, but as she continues it gets stronger, "Jen Horos Aira!" On the last word in a burst of white feathers her eight foot wings appear. She quickly gets up and dashes for the balcony. She heard Aura was in trouble. She jumps of her balcony and flies to her friend's aid. As she lands she appears nothing but white light. As she get closer to Aura the light seems to fade to reveal Pheaura. (Think of the first appearcen of Lady Arwen Undomeil from LOTR FOTR) "I see I have arrived it time?" She pulls out her scythe.

Eclipse took up the battle with Bastet, taking her route of getting behind it but went through it to get there and attacked from the back. Large creatures were slow movers and that was good for all of them.

Vik watched the blade fall down next to him.
"Damn! I was sure that would work!"
He sheathed one of the swords and grabbed Stardust. He slashed open a rift in space and jumped in. It disappeared before any creature could follow. Another rift opened up on the roof. Vik jumped out of it, gasping for air. Above him, he saw the barrier.
"Somethings gotta be holding that thing up. I'll just slash around until I find it."

Khenu grabbed Aura's wrist again, but also Pheaura's as well, maybe she could help, and concentrated. 'Please work, please' In a blur of sparks him Aura, and Phea were gone and back out side on the balcony.

Aura shook her head at the phasing then looked to Phea. "In the nick of it Phea." She pointed up. "Look that barrier dark needs to come down, mine is already so as not o interfere...you think you know something that can take it down?"

Pheaura jumped in surprise at the child's touch. Usually she was ready for things. Not many people surprised her. When she found they were on the balcony again she looked at the dark energy. "I might be able too, although I won't be able to do it alone. I'll need energy to help. Pure energy....like a childs." She dropped her voice at the last part becasue she didn't want to put Khenu in danger.

He wasn't stupid, he knew she meant him. He looked up to her. " I can help, I know I can, let me!" At his shouting the electricity crackled around his arms, actually bolting like lightening of the boomerang he held in his hand.

The beast screeched as Bastet landed on its spine, but was soon silenced as Eclipse clamped its throat. It fell onto the rooftop with a heavy thud, its life leaving its body. Above, the barrier cracked more, the world beyond pressing to restore natural order.
