Erin heard somebody distressed quickly pass by him........he got up from his seat...he usually didnt get into these things....but he tried to help those whom were destressed. "Hello? Are you ok?" He asked once he found the troubled girl, within the darkness of the long shelves of heavy tomes.

Jessica didn't hear the boy walk up behind her and she jumped when she heard him speak. She spun around and bumped a shelf, causing several books to fall off onto the floor. Her face flushed as she quickly ducked down and picked them up. Without looking at the boy she put the books back in their places.
"I am fine." The words flashed so that he could see them. She tried to hold back another sniffle, but was unfortunately unable to do so.

"No your not" he said as he looked at her with almost translucent eyes. "What happened" he said already anilizing the powers she had, and why. He was used to letting people get to him, so he knew what it was like.

Jessica was quiet for a moment, still refusing to meet his eyes. "People are mean here." The words finally flashed in front of him. "Not at all like where I am from. They were nice there..didn't make fun of me." She finally looked up at him, tears still shimmering in her eyes. Jessica reached up and wiped them away.

"People dont understand the plight" he said to her turning away. "They are bad.....Im sorry they hurt you"

Jessica sighed softly as she turned back to look at the books next to her. "People were like that before I went away to school. They called me dumb."

Jessica shook her head. "Quite the opposite. They said I was dumb for not learning how to speak."

Jessica smiled shyly and looked down at her feet. She reached up and pushed her hair behind her ear. "Thank you...for trying to cheer me up. You seem like a kind person."

"Yeah, person....and your welcome" he said smiling "you yourself seem to kind to be taking this abuse, and one would think people would lighten up to a pretty face like yours" he looked beyond the shelves, his face scowling at all the people "Just stay good and true, the gods will give you what you deserve"

Jessica looked up and him and her head tilted to the side slightly as she listened to him. "My name is Jessica." She finally let the words from in front of him. "It is nice to meet you."

"Likewise" he said back to her "I am Erin, You might not want to get to friendly with me" He turned away and began to walk away, he went back to his table and sat, reading his leatherbound pure white book.

Jessica followed him, but stopped at the end of the bookcase to where she could see him sitting at the table. "Why shouldn't I get to friendly with you?" She let the words float there in front of him, waiting for him to notice them.

"You may be looking at me now.......but this is not me" He said looking back at the girl "Just know that I have had to kill more people with these two hands, then you have, and ever will meet" he looked at his hands and turned...........it may scare her, but it was for the best.
