Wasn't Kate supposed to be clinging on my arm? she thought. She lifted up both arms, without feeling any resistance. "Kate?" Merridy called even louder.

Tim was walking blindly through the snow when he tripped over somthing so he tryed feeling around to see what it was it was kate lying face first in the ground. After he picked Kate up he started screaming "HELP, ROGER MERRIDY WHERE ARE YOU!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"

Merridy heard faint screaming from behind, so she stuck out her hand to stop Roger. A faint bit of pressure told her that it had worked.
"Tim?" she called back as loud as she could, which wasn't very.

crap Roger thought as he heard the faint screaming behind him. He started thinking fast if he had anything in his bag that could help. He remembered he did have something
"Here, hold onto Alex for a bit" Roger said leaning Alex over onto Merridy.
He reached into his bag and pulled out a long rope, he originaly planned to rock climb with it but.........that idea is gone.
"Alright, grab onto this,I'll need it to get back" Roger gave Merridy one end of the rope and he got a hold of the other one and went off towards were he heard tim's voice.

Merridy slung Alex over her shoulder and grabbed the rope. As she heard Roger's footprints fading into the background she moved Alex around until he was in a better position across her shoulders.

Roger walked around for a bit, but he could barely see in front of him, and the howling winds prevented him from his shouts to barely come accross as whispers
"TIM! Where are you! TIM!!" he shouted

Roger heard Tim's voice, it sounded faint but that might've been due to the winds.
"Tim keep talking I can find you that way!!" Roger shouted to where he though tim was, his eyes scanned every inch of the floor he could see.

Merridy got concerned over the lenght of time she was left alone.
"Roger is everything okay?" she yelled over the roaring of the icy wind.

Roger looked at Kate, she was freezing
not good, at this rate she might die of frostbite Roger had this thought race through his mind as he pulled on the cord around his waist, signaling merridy that he'd found them.
He started following the cord. Soon after he caught up to where Merridy was.
"I found them but we kate's freezing up." Roger said slowly handing Kate over to tim for a second. The wind was still blowing in his face, nose red, face and pretty much everything else freezing.
What to do what to do, c'mon think! He said, mind running wildly as he opened his bag for some sort of solution. Suddenly he came across something he had forgotten he had in his bag.
"These will have to do for now" Roger said as he took out a couple instant pocket warmers he had in his bag.
"quickly! anyone have a blanket?" he said to tim and merridy

Merridy pulled off her jacket and wrapped it around Kate. She always had been more tolerent in cold than most people. Searching around her backpack she found an extra sweater (you never know when you might need an extra) and got Tim to put it on her too.
"Did anyone think to bring a blanket?" she asked worridly (sp?)

"I found mine" Roger said pulling up a blanket that he had in his bag. He unwrapped it, but before putting it on kate, he gave Merridy some pocket warmers.
"Here, put these on Kate, they'll help raise her body temperature" Roger told Merridy
