AstralSamurai Saradiel Because... they're shiny. And can produce harmful outcomings in the face of undue adversity from other beings of the sentient variety. But mostly 'cuz they're shiny. Treasure is shiny too. But treasure is supposed to be buried. You're probably better off having things that are shiny and give you a compulsion to dig, rather than have something that is shiny and gives you a compulsion to lay waste to metropolitan areas. Hey, does anyone see my patently obvious Undead-Decoy Pen? I think maybe someone took it. But if the shiny things compel me to dig, then I will become dirty. And dirty 'Diels are not happy 'Diels. However, if I should become randomly compelled to lay waste to a metropolitan area, I would need a long-range weapon (it being a whole area and not a singular entity) and therefore no dirtification of me would occur, odds that I am much more comfortable with. But I'd be more likely to put them in a case and smile at them because they were shiny, and clean them every day many times to keep them shiny.

Hey, you run a piece of 8000 year old equipment on a DOS platform and you try not having occassional Critical Errors. And the mask doesn't really bother me. I personally find the pattern to be rather hypnotic. But it is a little bit creepy, to be fair.

I hear that's good for dirt. *sighs* But, Uncle Astral, gloves are no fun. they only allow the dirt to fall into them and become trapped, no matter how tight they are. And gloves get really dirty too. Besides. Along with the shiny should come the sharp. Sharp is good too. When you see the light-star that indicates blade of sharpness, it is a heartwarming sight. And there are so many possibilities... Katana... sai... dagger... kama... cutlass... dirk... longsword... rapier... sabre...

If you wish, I can also construct you a mask. The only price is that it shall stick to your countenance for all eternity using an adhesive some would call "super glue." Or "crazy glue." Whichever.
