I have 12 boots, 6 cans, 1 warm rainbow trout, 1 cool rainbow trout, 12 blueseedkins, 9 green ones, 3 bluestone biters, 4 brown pebbo feeders, 7 white pebbo feeders, 1 icy tuna, 3 old tires, 2 green bass, 8 yellow guppies and 3 orange ones.

And I sold a bunch of them before I decided to save them until the exchange fish thing was working. xp

Far too much. I wasn't really paying attention when I bought them so I spent about 12k on a rod (I upgraded it) and about 600 on bait.

I'm poor so I've only got the basic rod.
So, anyone notice any patters in the game? I've noticed that the fish tend to go in opposite directions on an interval (medium left then medium right every few seconds.)

Yeah, different fish are supposed to have different patterns, or something.

And my dad is going to drive me insane, I think. He came home with the new computer, and I was looking for this CD that he said we would need. About 10 minutes after he got home, he told me that we didn't actually need that CD that I'd been looking for for quite a while.

Oh, and when he went to pick it up he asked about those crossover cables and all that, and the guy told him that we could do that or if we knew how, we could take the hard drive from the old one and put it in the new one so that we could transfer stuff. So my dad decides to do the hard drive movey thing. I asked him if he knew how to do it and he said no. I asked him how he planned on getting it done then, and he just sort of mumbled "I dunno" and went off to do something else.

Fish, irritating computer situation and bad situation, silly parent. stressed

Ah, the wisdom of parents...
Well, there's one thing I kinda know about that you should be careful of. I'm not sure if it's only a specific piece or a broader set of the stuff inside of the computer (Kata can probably tell us after she reads this,) but the natural static charges on your body are strong enough to severely damage something inside you computer if you touch it.
However, this is easy to prevent. You just have to ground yourself by touching the case of the computer. (You should probably get advice on this from someone who knows more than me though.)

*winces* DO NOT LET YOUR DAD DO THAT!!!!! crying He'll fry it. IF you MUST use the same Hard drive, TAKE IT TO A PROFESSIONAL!! They can add the hard drive into your new machine. But you probably want to get a new Hard drive too. So if your current HD is small, and the new one is huge, its like not worth the effort. But yeah, you can get the old Hard drive installed in the new one.

You can fry just about everything. All the chips, all the wires, all the capacitors. Yes, you can ground yourself by touching the computer case, but you'd have to constantly have one hand on it.

Overall, the idea of her dad adding the new harddrive into the computer on that advice alone would be like telling a skydiver who knows nothing that the only important thing is to pull the cord. It's really something you shouldn't be attempting with alot of knowledge.

The concept is making the Bachelor of Computing student cry. crying

Well, the best way to ground yourself is with a ground bracelet, which straps to your wrist then clips to the case. Or wherever else. sweatdrop

Either way you shouldn't take the chance of trying to figure it out on your own when you've only got one chance and the stuff is so pricey.

Exactly. Hell, I wouldn't attempt it, and I know how to do it. sweatdrop
