Terrific. Just terrific. As if things couldn't get any better I backed into a parked car and caused about $500 of body damage with just my bumper. I swear the car must be made out of aluminum foil because there wasn't even a scratch on mine and it's not like I was moving quickly backing up. Now we have to deal with that on top of wedding issues.

Plus it is Matt's birthday. Wonderful present for me to give him...

Butters, good luck to you. I'm sure that you will do fine.

I will be getting a tattoo in the very near future and have yet to decide between the chinese symbols for "Hope" or "Sorrow". I'm leaning toward the latter right now, but that might change. I won't be getting inked until I have decided for certain what it is that I want.

Aside from that there is really nothing more to report in my life.
Thanks. I just wonder if they're going to help me if I need help and if I mess up it's not that big of a deal. Or if I ask a question they don't reem me.

Through someone else pursuing happiness I realized how selfish and jealous I can really be. I am usually selfless to the point where I will serve everyone before myself, but lately I have been overly-concerned with my own affairs. Is this self-preservation? Am I withdrawing into myself in hopes of waiting this out? Again, I contemplate my future if I do not get into NCSSM. I feel like I will either be doomed to mediocrity or death if I can't do this. Maybe I am expecting too much from myself or maybe I am just not going to reach any amount of my potential.

In addition, I am self-imposing more than one new relationships into my life, one of them hopeless and is actually dragging me down. I do not know this person but already she is dependant AND suicidal and I cannot let her down without also risking her life. Or rather, I could, but then I would feel like a total a*****e. When I actually regain feeling, that is. I have been increasingly apathetic lately. Probably a natural reaction to the influx of everything not new but so much more tiring. I need a week of sleep and relax and catch up on myself so that I can worry about other people again.

But alack, no sleep aids for myself this night.

How I would have voted:

Prop 73: No.
Prop 74: No.
Prop 75: No.
Prop 76: No.
Prop 78: No.
Prop 79: No.
Prop 80: No.

Did anyone even know that Prop 73 defines abortion?

Pretty negative voting style.

What does Prop 73 define abortion as?

(On tattoo thing I would vote for Hope, but that's just my opinion).

As far as the car thing, sorry to hear about that. Unfortunately the damage being done to the other car was probably pure coicidence. My mom got rear-ended (her in a dinky Toyota Camry, the other car was a brand new SUV). Turns out there was hardly a scratch on her car, yet the entire front of the SUV was ******** up. Don't ask me how that happens. *hugs*

I have to go pin insects now. My roomates will probably be thrilled. Nothing like dead roaches, earwigs, and beetles everywhere. At least I spend the time to clean everything up afterwards.

So as if the 11th of November isn't bad enough to begin with, I managed to lose all my friends here too. Wow... Double whammy.
One of my 'friends' is in my program, and she's always trying to find out how I did on papers... Whatever, I don't mind sharing. So the other day, I got 19/20, and she thought she had gotten 14.5/20. So she's like, "I don't understand how you did better than me. I worked really hard on this." Insinuating that I don't work hard on my papers. She went and talked to the teacher, and found out that the 14 was really a 19, and she came back gloating about it, because she had finally beat me on a paper. Which I don't really care about, because well... I find no joy in comparing myself to other people. This wouldn't bother me so much, if she wasn't constantly trying to find out what I got, and she didn't always act like a five year old when she finds out that I do better.
So I was telling our other friend this, and he was agreeing with me, that she shouldn't act like that, and that my writing and her writing are totally different... Blah blah blah.
So later that night, or rather 3am on Fri, we were all hanging out, and I confronted her about this, and how it bothered me, and how it made me feel like she thought she was better than me, and she started bawling her ******** eyes out. And then the other friend snapped on me saying that everyone knew that I was a great writer, and that I didn't have to work as hard for my marks as everyone else does. Which is a bunch of bullshit, cause I DO work hard for my marks. And then he's like, "This isn't something that needs to be addessed." Well, it's bothering me, so yes, it does need to be addressed. She makes me feel like I don't deserve the marks that I get, and she makes me feel bad for getting higher than her on every paper. Pretty much what they were saying is, so long as her ******** fragile little ego wasn't hurt, my feelings didn't matter.
We're in college... We're all over 20... You'd think that everyone would start acting their age or something, but noooooo... Let's bawl our ******** eyes out because someone confronted you about being a nosey b***h.
I ******** hate this place.

Sorry for such a long post, and for all the swearing guys. I just really needed to get that out.

Ahh yes, the drama may be reduced but it really never goes away does it Kori? Well there is a pretty simple way to solve it. Stop letting her see your grades. When she asks what you go just say 'That is private information' and leave it at that. I'm sure you could even talk to your prof and get them to keep your assignments until you pick them up in their office. That way there is no more problem at all. I know it doesn't solve the fight you are in right now but it stops it from going further.
