The shadows had to face Eclipse in all his horror and fury as he continually took them down, using every weapon in his arsenal he had, be it his physical and his magical.
Aura grabbed Khenu by the hand, pulling him out of the way of things as she fended off the ones that launched at her and the boy. "Tell me how to take it down and I'll do it Saradin!"

Vik felt the burning and freezing feeling again. There was so much dark aura around them, it probably was to much for the spell to handle. He looked down and saw some blue flames, the visible form of dark aura, start to seep through the cracks between his bandaged hand and into his cursed scar. Vik drew his sword again. He started waving his hand through Rune Savior, his hand passing right through the blade and the amount dark aura growing smaller and smaller.
"Ready yourself Munalisk. Were in way over our heads."

Khenu himself managed a few, letting himself be led around by Aura. Blindly flinging out his razor sharp boomerang, catching a few here and there. Hopefully either killing or wounding them, he was just a kid after all.
Blue sparks were in his hand again and wrapped around the boomerang as he flung it now, seemingly doing more damage than just the boomerang itself was doing. Though not in control of it, it was still helping.

Bastet took down some shadow creatures, as she looked around her. She noticed Khenu and Aura heading for the barrier and ran to make sure they had the proper cover since it was essential to winning. She took down a few more of the gruesome creatures, as she saw Khenu flailing his weapon, she went to finish the ones he didn't.

when he had appeared, it wasn't certain, but he was violence personified, he was Grace made real, Nightmares made flesh...no motion was wasted, with each twist, each leap, the shadows simply fell apart, cut into 17 pieces... He was paying particular attention to the area around Aurah, and in particular, Khenu, though he was certain if push came to shove, the kid could hold his own.
" ....If you don't mind my asking...[twist and dodge]....what's happening?

"I have no idea!" Saradin's voice was barely audible over the sounds of combat and murmur of evil beings. "It's binding two planes together, anything to tear down something like that should work!" Claustrophobia for the little space around him setting in, the Soulforge swept around, blasting all surrounding away. Unable to better answer her question, Saradin forced himself outside, trying to draw Catherine into combat.
Meanwhile, at least five opponents leapt and clawed at Munalisk alone, more ready to pounce on Vik. Most seemed to not recognize Eclipse as a threat until he struck, seeing him as the same as them. And Aura, who covered Khenu, was being swamped into a corner slowly as they pressed forward.

Munalisk charged wildly into a group shadow creatures. He took a deep breath and breathed fire all over them. He then started slashing them with his long claws and whiping his tail at them.
"La Saphrica. Apart."
A transparent longsword floated into Vik's other hand and became solid when he grabbed it. He wasn't sure if these things were made of darkness or were solid but he wasn't taking any chances. He slashed an x in the closest creature.
"Have to get to that barrier!"
He started running down the hallway towards the front door, slashing at the shadow creatures along the way.

"Alright, no more miss gracious hostess!" In a flutter of ancient words and a hand gestures, a bolt of light exploded from Aura's outstretched hand, taking out a considerable amount, leaving her plenty of space to move. She jerked Khenu after her as she headed up the stairs. If she was going to take out a barrier then she needed to get closer. Fighting her way up and then out onto the balcony, she stopped to look up at the joined barrier that had formed.

Eclipse was using his shadow signature and powers to his advantage. Being able to convert himself slightly enough to pass straight through the creatures, teeth and claws ripping them apart from the inside out as he passed, using his element of surprise in showing on who he sided with. By now he had taken on again the slight midnight blue glow he had had the previous night.

Bastet had one of her sai knocked away, so she grinned as her claws came out and she took down more of the vile creatures. Bastet leaped out of the way and took down two more, "She'll figure out a way to do it," she mumbled to herself.

Seeing that Aurah, and Kheanu were well beyond his help, he pushed his blind completely over both eyes. a 'woosh' of displaced air and his hair returned to it's normal snow-white color...The kitchen-knife Nantsuya spun in his hand, before plunging it into his left arm, and dragging it from his shoulder down to his elbow, the blood pouring out like a tidal flood, yanking the small white blade from his arm, he dropped it into the puddle of his own blood, and the strangely shimmering red liquid shifted into an elongated shape. a Japanese longsword, nearly three feet in length, his wound mended itself, as he grabbed the sword, forged of his blood, named Zatoichi, and disappeared as Shinobi are wanton to do..

Vik managed to hear Saradin telling Aura how to destroy the barrier. He was suddenly hit with an idea. Stardust, the blade of space and time, could destroy the barrier! He quickly ran towards Aura, slashing at any shadow creature (except for eclipes of course) was in the way. He finally caught up with her.
"Aura! You'll need this!"
He summoned Stardust out of the main sword and tossed it at Aura.
"It can tear through dimensions meaning it can destroy the barrier. Hurry up and get ther, I'll cover you!" he said slashing at a shadow creature at his right.

Doing his best to provide some protection for Aura as she thought of how to get rid of this barrier. Khenu focused on his fear that was there. That caused a crack to be heard and the electricity to travel up his arms, creating on overall even more powerful effect.

Aura took the blade from Vik and nodded to him. "Thank the Gods for good friends, eh Khenu?" She grabbed the back of the boy's shirt and yanked him close. She raised the blade towards the barrier, bringing it down, ripping it open. She then said something else in her own tongue, which dispelled her own barrier on the manor, pouring rain into the place, just in case that was helping the other any.

Saradin's hand swished at neck level, sending one shadow's head splattering to the grass, and dropped the edge onto another splitting it apart letting its body drop away like black water that splashed on the ground. "It so nice to watch you sweat." They were the only words shared by the two. The lesser shadows drew away from them quickly to allow their betters to have it out.
On the rooftop, airborne beasts swooped and nipped at his friends. Many clawed their way up the walls, sometimes getting pulled off by others. Dominant among them though was one easily five times the size of any other, and it was unpleasantly closing in on the one who threatened the barrier.
