Picking Up Stars Vice Captain

((for lack of anything else to do but so i stay around...im going to do what i do best. get up ....go to sleep. lol. hopefully i'll be on saturday night. maybe...))
Nailah stirred when she couldn't breathe. Something was in her face. She saw black and reached up. Smooth silky fur met her searching fingertips. Gently she lifted the purring Rasui off her chest. Her tail had landed right across Niah's face. She stood up and yawned then remembered what she had been doing. One of the recent titles she needed popped into her mind and she hurried into the library.
Rasui yawned and stretched. Watching her mistress leave she shook her head and flipped her tail. She went to the closet and curled up into a ball and went back to sleep.
Niah scanned the shelves searching for the book. Finally she located the tome up on a higher shelf. She stared at it for a few minutes and debated on how best to get it down. Cursing her irritating height she stood on her tip toes and tried to remove the book. It was no use. She just wasn't tall enough. "Dammit! Ra forbid I be a few more inches taller. No it's just not possible..." Niah continued to mutter and tried to find a way to get the book. She considered using one of Aura's comfy chairs to stand on but wasn't sure that was such a good idea. Finally she jumped up and began to reach for the book. After the third try she got a hold of it and pulled it gently from the bookshelf. Smiling happily she wandered over to one of the chairs and began to read. Hours later she looked up and yawned. She had no idea how long she had been searching. The spell Nelphean had cast allowed her to read the book but not understand it. It had taken her hours to get as far as she had and it wasn't very far. Rubbing her eyes she closed the book and curled up on one of the couches. She propped the book up on her stomach and tried to read but it was no use. Finally seh closed the book and let it rest on her stomach. Curling her legs up in the nightdress she finally went back to sleep praying the nightmare would not return to haunt her.

Elias slowly opened his eyes, he stretche, gearing the reassuring sound of snapping as the tension of of his shoulders left him. It seemed that he had fallen asleep in the courtyard once more. He wasn't really sure, but he was not one to question his own decisions. "Uhh...My aching head." he moaned as he craddled his head. Today was not a good day, but he had to live it nonetheless. Rising slwoy up from the ground, he dusted himself and made his way into the manor. He was not expecting to find anyone awake at this time, but to his surprised, Dawn and Twillight jumped into his unexpecting arms only to forcce the very large Mexican hard into the ground. "Morning, Hermano!!" Dawn giggled as she bounced upon Elias massive chest. Twilight on the other hand was much too busy showering the warrior with small childish kisses to say anything. "Buenas noches hermosas." Elias laughed as he grabbed them both and rose once more. Both girl giggled as the large man, that had become the only real famlily the two spirits had in life or otherwise. threw the pair over his shoulders and procededed to run at full speed around the courtyard. He was aware that both of the wolves were soudly alseep, but because of his years of wandering he had learned how to move without making a noise, and did not wake the budding couple. The laugther of the girls resonated loudly throughout the mansion, as much as the twins had been through, in life and ultimately dying at the hands of a twisted man, they were both just children, and wanted nothing more than to play. Elias Murieta was more than happy to aplige, denied ever knowing the sister that his mother was carrying when her life was so brutally taken. "Stop Elias!!!"Twilight sreamed, making Elias stop almost on a dime, it became obvious why Twilight had begged the massive man to stop his voyage around the garden. Had he continued to move he would have ended of a snake that was making its way across the large courtyard garden. This was no ordianry serpent, Elias was afterall, the kepper of the Aztec snake-god, he immediately recognized the serpent for what it truly was. "A Coathl, I have not seen your feathered kind it a very long time." Elias smiled as he knelt down beside the serpent. It was about as long as one of Elias's arms and it was the darkest shade of black that he had ever seen, its eyes were a deep blood red, much like his own. From the small size of the serpent and the fact that its white the azure blue wings upon the serpents wings were no where as large as they could be, that the Coathl, the winged serpent was nothing more than a infant. "Lord, Quetzalcoathl." the young serpent hissed confused by the pwer he felt coming from the very large human.

Nelphean had the most amazing wonderful idea... All he needed was help...
Picking up her father's mind, Aurora snarled at Nelphean. "You really should get a life..."
FLooding the wolf's head with images of his old life, he turned back to his work. Elves were very helpful, especially when he mentioned the manor...
Connecting the last piece, Nelphean looked at his creative handy work...
"It wont work." Aurora laughed. Then her mind was filled with images of someone... "You are a big jerk..." She rolled over, and fell to sleep. SHe had no idea what dark and mesterious magic Nelphean had used on her, but she didn't care. He was her Nelphean.. Her father.

"Ouch...could you be a bit more careful."
Near the lake, she sat on a rock, Eclipse in front of her, his back to her and his wings slightly splayed. Aura yanked another two feathers out, casing another complaint from the wolf and one from herself as well. "I'm being as careful as I can Eclipse. This hurts me too you know..I'm being nice by, ouch...not closing off our link...it's called empathy.
"Well it's wonderful that you can empathize with me Aurahkah dearest, but still. Just a little, ah, softer by any chance?"
"These feathers won't come out if I pull any softer. You ,ow, know that." She pulled a few more feathers out, frowning at the own pricks of pain she was feeling and sharing with the shadow born wolf. Aura had gotten out most of the battle torn feathers, but left some alone, just so his wings wouldn't look too bad. The new feathers would grow back quickly, she knew that.

Wandering away from the oppsesive elf, Aurora walks about the manor. She had meet only a handful fo the people living her. SHe felt very inclined to find someone...
Finding no one in the manor halls, The She-wolf lept out a window, and started to fly, watching the environment of the manor property. SHe flew over Snow, and watched the horse graze for a moment to long, and herd her master think, watchout, as she slamed into to folige of a tree.
"Uf" She said as she stumbled through the branches. How did that elf know about the tree he could not see... Danger sense... Curse his good looks and charms...

Eclipse's ears rotated back as he heard the sounds of cracking branches and tossed leave. He chuckled. He knew the sound well. Egypt hadn't' many trees when he had been learning to fly, or just flying out of boredom for the matter. When him and Aurahkah had come here he learned the hard way to always keep your eyes forward and senses about you when flying...or else you might slam into a tree. Well, Aurora learned the hard way too then. Eclipse laughed again.
"What are you snickering about?" She was now smoothing the feathers of his wings down, deciding not to rob the poor appendages of any more feathers.
"Oh...nothing. Just remembering something."

Aurora whimpered as she wlaked away from the trees. She looked at her wings over her shoulders, and noticed an array of leave and twigs caught in them. She shoke her body to try and get them out, but was unsuccessful. She grew frustraited and began to roll around on the ground. Biting and cursing at her rotten luck, she eventually rolled right into the lake. The water soaked her, and the leaves an twigs mostly floated away from her wings.
She rose out of the water, and saw Eclipse be babied by his ...
"Hi" she said embarrassed.

He couldn't contain himself. He had to laugh. He let his ears drop though, almost in apology to the younger wolf for his outburst. SO this is why Aurahkah always laughed at him when it happened to him. It did look funny."I'm sorry to laugh."
Aura shook her head and patted Eclipse between the ears, a pressured his wings, letting him know he could fold them back in, which he promptly did. She smiled to Aurora and motioned her over. "Well, whatever happened to you?"

Aurora curled her tail underneath her body, and moved slighlty away from the duet, before shaking her body violently to repel the water from her fur. Mostly dry, she walk over to Aurahkah. SHe like Aurahkah, but not the idea of Aurahkah being near Nelphean. Then agina, Aurora will not like Nelphean near any woman...
"I got bored of Nelphean's mad experiments..." She sat beside Aurahkah, and tried to look pretty, despite her wet appearance. She felt odd, watching Eclipse laugh at her...
"I went for a fly around the manor, after not finding any of the interesting people that Nelphean meet. I watched Snow graze to long, and collided with a tree." The she-wolf licked one of her paws... "Then, in a fit of panic, I rolled into the lake, where I got wet." She wathced Eclipse, thinking about biting his tail. That was always fun... Nelphean said try to be playful...

Eclipse turned and rested his head on Aurahkah's knee, nuzzling her hand when it rested itself on top of his head, skilled fingers of a tomb robber scratching at his ears. He snickered once more then closed his eyes. "Got to watch out for them trees...menaces really. Egypt had way more flying space."
Aura laughed softly and reached a hand out, patting Aurora on her head. She didn't mind the damp fur, all to used to it from Eclipse's follies with water and the like. "Just be more careful. You don't want to get hurt and then upset Nelphean do you?" She shook her head and retraced her hand, letting that one join the other in massaging Eclipse's sensitive ears.

Watching the friendliness between Eclipse and Aurahkah pained Aurora... She didn't understand why, and neither did Nelphean.
"Why am I here?" Aurora asked Aurahkah.

"Why are you here?" Aura looked to the she wolf for a moment. Did she even really know the answer herself. She smiled sympathetically at the wolf and even at herself. Saradin used to ask her such questions...but they seemed easier to answer than the she wolf's. "Well..." She began. "From my understanding, when Eclipse was in trouble, Nelphean had to wake me, our minds ended up connecting from what he told me...and for some reason he was able to create you from using my magics...or something like that. But that's technical, and I'm sure not what you want to here." She paused for a moment and reached her hand back out to Aurora, scratching behind the she wolf's ears. "Maybe Nelphean was like me...too lonely to stand it any longer...and he needed someone. Someone who could give him something that no one else could...unconditional love."
"That's why I came to Aurahkah, the way I am I mean. Though she thought evil thoughts and of revenge, in her heart she was only scared and lonely. I loved her before I even truly had mind to...when I was just my own swirling mass of energy deciding on what form to take. It's just what I felt, the counterance to what she felt."
Aura nodded emphasis on Eclipse's two cents that he had thrown in. "See, not as complicated as you think to understand why you're here."

"Nelphean told me magical jargon that only made sense becaue I could read his every thought. Basically, what you said Aurahkah." Aurora looked at Eclipse and began to wage her tail. Unconditional... "Nelphean wont spirit link with me." She looked at Aurahkah.
"He used some powerful magics to bind my soul to the plane so a simple low powered dispell would not utterly destroy me." The she wolf said with such apathy, it was as though she didn't care.
"Love..." Aurora said as she looked towards Eclipse, "Can usually be shared between two spirits who accept each other." Opening her wings, Aurora shakes her fur agian, only to losen a twig from her feathers.
"Nelphean... Raven's Loft... Who is Nailah, Bastet and Pheaura?" She would have grinned, if she could have.

Eclipse licked his muzzle, his tail now swaying softly back and forth and his wings slightly slacked. Oh yes, his ears were his weak point. Well them and the underside of his wings, but he was enjoying the simple petting motion none the less as he listened to them talk, lost slightly in his own little world.
"Smart of him to do that then. Even if you still have a bit of danger from such a thing." She took her hand from Aurora, raising the hand to her face and brushing away a few strand of loose hair. "Well, Bastet is half cat, half woman, and all Egyptian temper. But a very good friend once you can earn her trust. Nailah, she's from Egypt like me and Bastet as well, though a lot younger than us both. A sweet girl really, she's an empath with a soft spot for cheese cake as well. And Pheaura, she's the resident angel of the manor. She likes to tease terribly, so watch out for teasing points there."
Eclipse snickered. "Jealous?"

Aurora batted her eyes, and looked into Eclipse's... "To be those gentle fingers caresing your head would be my only fantasy, to casuse you such great joy would truly be the higth of my life...' In a soft, gentle voice.

After flirting with Eclipse, Aurora looked towards Aurahkah. "Why do I have such stong feelings of fondness for a guy named Vincent?"

She sits on the ground, and scratches an ear. Looking at the other shadow creature. He was an interesting fellow.
