"Yes, I suppose we will see each other again," Kana nodded, leaving the kitchen as well and heading in the opposite direction.
Seeing Rayne in the distance, Ayame frowned. /It's that girl again/ She growled, calling for two bodyguards. /How in the world did she get out of her cell? Well, no matter. She can be dealt with easily enough/

Rayne steps out into the hall, then yawns and stretches, just like a lion would after a meal. Great... now that she'd eaten her fair share of meat... she didn't feel like going on a killing spree that much... or at all really.... she felt more like taking a nap... and one that wasn't induced by the pain from a tazer.
Just then, though, she notices Ayame approaching. "Just the scientist I was looking for.... You're late, though. I no longer feel like ripping your throat out." She calls out down the hall, then grins, her fangs flashing, before she turns her back and starts walking away, to show that she didn't fear Ayame, even after she'd knocked Rayne out and locked her in her room.

"A wise decision, Little Girl," Ayame murmured, grinning. "You are not a threat to me. Attempt to harm me, and you'll end up getting hurt. While I can not kill you, I am more than capable of making your time here VERY unpleasant. Remember that," She laughed, turning around and heading in the other direction.

Rayne pauses for a moment, scowling as she almost rises to the bait 'no threat to her?! I'll show her no threat', then she shakes her head, grumbling slightly as she gets her human side back in control for the moment. Flicking her tail in annoyance, Rayne heads off down the hall to go find something to do with herself before she went insane with boredom.

Zhukov glanced down the hall, noticing the interaction of Rayne & Ayame "What are those two bickering about?" he muttered

Ayame cracked her knuckles as she headed back to her office, wanting to experiment with a few dna combinations.
Kana walked by Rayne and Ayame as they finished their arguement, shaking her head. "Those two are foolish and proud," She murmured.

"I am fairly well, Doctor," Kana told him. "Even if I were not, it woud hardly matter," She noted. "May I ask you a question?"

Dr. Zhukov snorted "If we had enough volunteers, we wouldn't need to kidnap people" he said "And usually, from what I've been told, though I don't believe it, is that we only kidnap people who won't be missed"

"I've objected to the kidnapping, though it hasn't done much good" Dr. Zhukov said "I'd rather have volunteers, but as I said, we don't get enough volunteers"

"Then please use my body for experimentating as much and as long as you wish," Kana told him. "I have nowhere else to go, after all. At least then you can prevent a few kidnappings..."

"Not now, Kana" Dr. Zhukov said "You should get some rest" he added, placing a hand on Kanas shoulder "I'm hesitant to inject you so relatively close to your last injection" he added, eying her wings.
