A quick note. Dont get pissed at me for this, this is based on a conversation I had with my mom on our way back from the funeral. It is just something to think about, and pray never happens.
Also dont take this too seriously, it's just something to laugh at.
As you all should relise the US govenment is highly corrupt, but not alot of people seem to relise it is also falling apart because of the corruption.
Now another thing you all should hopefully know is who is the second most powerful group in the US, gangs. Yes that's right most gangs have quite a good supply of firepower, nothing to stand up to tanks and s**t but still they are the second most powerful.
Most gangs are mainly composed of people from the ages 17-25 though there are probably younger and older members.
Now the government has been ******** everyone over since the begining no matter what you are told in history class. History is written by the victors after all. However some of sociaty is begining to think and act outside of the social norm and defy most athority and normalicy. They are in the truest sence of the word, deviants.
These 'deviants' are usually suffering from things such as OCD, ADD, ADHD, Bi Polar, and most importantly ODD. ODD is oppositional defiance disorder. People with these mental 'abnormalities' are usually drugged with things such as Prozak, Ritalin, and other mood controling drugs. These drugs are supposed to keep you within the social norm, but after awhile they just dont work anymore. Gang members would probably be diagnosed with ODD at least. And they probably wont be too happy that they were being altered to fit into sociaty. OMG something is starting to come together in this supposedly random babbling
Now another point in todays sociaty that I am going to point out, electronics. Almost all of the millitary's defences require some kind of computer to opperate, this is supposed to help I guess. Now if anything were to go wrong with these computers our govenment would be defenceless for a short period of time.
Now if every gang were to stop fighting amongst themselves they would beable to easily topple the government. "How?" you may thinking to yourself right now. It's simple, an EMP bomb.
EMPs work differently from any other bomb as they dont explode and have no explosives. Dogs cant sniff them out because of this and even if trained there would still be next to no way to stop an EMP from getting close enough to do some serious damage. They can be assembled on millitary bases in the comfort of an appartment or some other housing.
Now let's say the gangs stop warring amongst themselves and know how to assemble an EMP. It would take a bit of work to syncronise a few EMP detonations at every major military base, a few hours or days to take the base's defences down, and a few weeks to topple the government all because of our heavy dependance on computers. The EMPs would take out most defence systems, tanks, planes, radar systems, ect.
In other words if gangs turn their attention toward the people who they would be a bit saner for opposing rather than butchering themselves there would be a second civil war of sorts on our hands. Scary isnt it?
If something like that does happen I hope all the decent people in the US are as close to Canada as I am to escape the chaos. whee

You do realize that there is something known as "reset", right? EMP in that sense doesn't fry systems completely. If it did, electronics wouldn't work. It will, however, throw electrons around, killing the electronic systems, most likely temporarily. There is a slight chance of data corruption on magnetics-reliant hard drives, but there are other storage media that don't have these failings. In short, the bases would be at a disadvantage for a short time, but EMP has no effect on guns. xp
