Tailz activated his sharingan. he played through what had happend. slo-mo style. "appears not." he said, his hands in the tiger position. his sharingan faded, and his hair dropped back down. "and you will make it. if you don't, i'll kill myself. that enough proof?" Tailz said, his hand on the bed railing

Lyra flushed. "Wh- Tha- That's way too drastic! Please, don't say things like that!" She sighed. "I don't care about climbing the ranks, just being strong enough to protect what's important to me. So... please don't say anything like that..."

Lyra frowned, only half understanding. "O-oh, I see." She brought a finger to her face in thought. "You don't think that makes you a worse person, do you?" She paused. "I've always thought... the thing that best represents human nature is silver. It can be bright, shining, beautiful... and it tarnishes easily. But even then, all it takes is a rag and a little elbow grease to shine it up again. Don't you think people are like that?" She smiled softly. "Anyway, I've been in here a while, don't you think. I suppose I should get back to work. Take care of yourself, all right?"

"wait." Tailz said, and held out his palm facing her head. his chakra unraveled and surrounded her, filling her with more strength. "a little help." he said, smiling as the chakra faded. "i must be going too." he said, and walked out the door. he dashed off, way out of sight.

Death rudely kicks open the door and steps inside. "So, who's going to heal me? I've been fighting for a long time and I need some help with recovery.... If you're looking for me, I'll be right here." Death lays down on the floor and stares at the ceiling.

After a long time of waiting, Death sits up. "Oh goody," he remarks as he looks at the blood still dripping out his leg. "It slowed but it's still bleeding. Too bad nobody came to help me... stupid hospital." Death removes his scarf and wraps it around his leg to stop the slow bleed. "I need to go eat something," he says as he wobbles up and walks out.
