Nightshadow arrived back at the Waterclan camp, her eyes solemn, and slightly worried. Her tenseness was very visible, and she quickly walked over to Moonstar. "I'm going to go hunt," she said before rushing off, not giving him a chance to say anything.
Windpelt watched Nightshadow rush off and walked over to Moonstar. "May I have permission to join your clan?" he asked, his emerald green eyes staring calmly at Moonstar.

Shallowpaw had entered not long after Windpelt and Mosspelt and heard his question. Silently she prayed that her friend's love could join, for Shallowpaw knew how hard it was to be unable to see one's love everyday, and to be seperated forever.

Nightshadow swiftly headed towards the river. She then killed a couple fish with a few swipes of her paw. The moon was covered by clouds but the stars were out. She stared at them, her eyes filled with puzzlement. "Starclan...do you think Moonstar or any of the others think I've betrayed them? Is it wrong for me to ... love.. Windpelt? Will they accept him? Will I be held responsible and exiled from the clan?" Her whole body started trembling at the thought, and her fur stood on end.

Leafheart bounded out of camp and saw Nightshadow ahead she saw her then padded on she scented a mouse and caught and killed it.

Shadowleaf came back to the camp and was a little unhapply. She sat down and found it hard to fall a sleep.

As soon as Nightshadow returned from hunting, Moonstar rushed up to her.
"What was this about another cat who wants in the clan?"
Nightshadow explained everything and Moonstar nodded his head in approval.
"I'm sure we can let him in. Bring him in here so I can talk to him." Moonstar said. Eager to meet this young cat.
