"Still the same old man you always were."
Saradin spun around sword flying free, only to catch empty air.
"Now now, behave. You could take out an eye with that thing."
Saradin didnt respond to her taunts, but did follow her movements around the room, her shadow-walking becoming easily visible, though still fast, with the close proximity of the planes.
"I suppose I could give you enough time for a last meal if you chose. I have enough patience to savor your death whenever I get to deal it." Her lithe form moved around the room, staying just outside of attack range from any of the occupants. "Or would you prefer it to be quick and painful?"

Khenu looked down at the floor. "Control it? I don't even know why this is happ-" He was cut off however as he heard a voice that wasn't familiar and no one was speaking that he could visibly see.

"She's here..." Aura put a hand on Khenu's shoulder, keeping track of him.
Eclipse immediately took up a defensive position in front of Khenu, Aura, and Bastet who were all standing rather close to him. He watched the shadows intently, trying to pick his foe from them. Till then he just growled in warning.

Vik froze for a second. He looked around the room trying to find out where the voice was coming from.
"Munalisk, was that you?"
"Nope. I'm right here. I'll see if I can find anything."
Vik placed his hand on the handle of his sword, just in case Who or what was there was planning to attack.

Bastet moved in front of Khenu and stood beside Eclipse. Khenu still held innocence which she would not allow to be destroyed. And she would protect her new friends.

"Such a heated reception! If I had known you would have prepared for my arrival, I would have brought a gift." Her lips formed a careful smile, and she drew out her sword. "Why did she come so close, so vulnerable you must be asking yourself. It was to show you this. Revealing herself to everyone there, she brandished the sword, it was the same one she used before, a black counterpart to the soulforge, but now the flat of it was carved in red with several runes. "The Shadow's Wrath. Appropriately named, isnt it? Yes, I have allies against you now, and this is one of their formost gifts to me."

Oh yes, that scent. Eclipse has smelled that before on Aura, and last time he smelled that on Aura, she had been hurt. Holding a fierce gaze to his new foe, Eclipse bared his fangs, increasing the volume of his growling. He knew himself, he had one advantage to being what he was, and now he was glad he hadn't quite closed the deal with Aura on the decision she had presented with him earlier.

There was a small poof and Munalisk was in his Gaurdian form, now several feet higher than everyone and about as wide as two. He slouched a bit because of the weight of his now gigantic muscular arms. He stood in fron of everybody, sheilding them.
Vik stepped back behind Munalisk and drew his sword halfway.
"La Saphrica. Holy Blade." Vik whispered.
The blade changed into a knightsword with a cross shaped handle.
"Let's hope whatever she is, she hates the light."

"Naughty boy." She turned to Vik and all at once he was consumed within a ball of darkness that shrouded him completely from sight. Inside, the bubble picked at him, growing closer to strangle the life from him should his weapon fail him.
Maintaining his calm, safe in the assumption that Vik could dispel the force, Saradin spoke quietly. "Vik, dont attack. She is growing more and more in tune with the very area around here. Any damage done to her will matter little for now."
"Hmm, correct as always. My how I've missed your superior tone." Halting the press on Vik, she turned to Saradin. "But what do you intend to do to stop me?" The smile faded from her face as she tried to comprehend his thoughts.

Khenu retreated to hide slightly behind both Aura and Bastet, away from the growling Eclipse, away from an obviously huge dragon, and away from a seemingly crazy woman bent on killing the guy everyone called Saradin. He reached behind himself, one hand on his boomerang, ready to pull, fling and knock a head off with it if need be.

Bastet moved towards Vik, but then stopped when she heard Saradin speak. She ran ideas through her head, to see if there was an easy way to fix this situation.

"Argh!"
Vik felt the darkness surround him. The dark aura inside of him seemed to jump for joy, excited that they would soon have new friends. Vik not only found it hard to see, he could hardly breath in there.
"Rune*gasp*Sav..yor."
The blade changed once again, this time into a broadsword. Vik managed to cut open a gap large enough to fit through in the shadows. He sprang out, gasping for air. He glared at the woman for a second and then quickly sheathed his sword.

"Seeing as clearly none of you wish to take me up on my generous offer, I may as well begin. No sense in giving you time to coordinate." Then she was gone, slipping out the doorway and out of this plane with disturbing speed.
Then, a loud boom crashed across the house, and outside hundreds of voices could be heard muttering together outside. Legions of shadows marched towards the building. "I guess it has begun then..." Saradin's voice trembled at the simple statement.

Aura drew her sais, and looked back at Khenu for a moment. "So it has." She then looked forward to Eclipse. "Don't let yourself become taken over by darkness, you need to stay in control..."
Eclipse flicked his tail angrily and pawed at the floor. As far as he was concerned, it was 'bring it on' to him. Darkness couldn't hurt him, he was darkness. And his friends lives were at stake, that only made him a more vicious foe to deal with.

The first of them stormed in through the doorway, each one unique in its horror, but soon they began to filter through the very walls and ceiling above. "Catherine could strike at any time! I need to keep her busy, but someone needs to break the barrier around the building!" Each sentence squeezed out as the Soulforge burst to life and hewed shadows one by one. Already five had fallen to it and dozens more leapt to replace them. Before he could be swamped in, Saradin pressed for the door, spearing through one and tackling another.
