I asked for Saturday night off three weeks in advance at my work, I said I could work in the morning, just not that night... It's not like I was asking for the whole day off, and I gave them plently of time. I work just about all the extra shifts they ask me too and whenever they need someone to stay for extra hours I almost always say yes... The ******** scedual me from the exact time I say I -can't- work at, until close. ********, ********.

******** Home Depot
So my Dad's retired, he taught Shop for 30 years, and now does demonstrations in the tools department at Home Depot, so people go in and he shows them how to do stuffs.
He just came home early, I was like wtf cause he doesn't get off till four. Don't know how it happend, he's got a deep cut (there may be some bone damage) across his knuckles, his hand is wrapped in blood soaked gauze and tape, I hate it when people I love are in pain crying
Luckily, one of his coworkers carries a first aid kit, so he banged him up. Home Depot didn't take him to the hospital, or even arrange for a taxi, they told him he could have the rest of the day off and go to a clinic, so my mum came home from work to take him.
sad.

Don't worry, I hate them too. So pretentious, so snotty and self-righteous, always trying to prove that they know what they're talking about when they're just bullshitting. They make me absolutely sick with how they're always saying that they're better than adults, because adults don't "understand what they're going through." They have no idea what the real world is like, they have no idea what real problems are, only their petty little misfortunes that really don't matter at all. They're all so self-centered and self-assured, as if they actually have any experience dealing with real tragedy. And it's always, "you don't understand. You don't know me, you don't know what I'm going through," as if we've never been teenagers ourselves. It's always, "what about me? What about me?" What about you? You're not even living on your own, what do you matter? Why is your world and your interests so much more important than, say, keeping the roof over your head? Keeping food on the table? You might be going through "tough times" but guess what? So is everyone else. Stupid ********. Always mouthing off as if they have a right.

On a slightly less serious note, I really dislike trying to fall asleep while the birds are chirping their morning songs. Damnit, did I just miss the sunrise?! stressed

I'm not actually sure if I was being sarcastic or not. My group of friends tend to be people who fall so far from the stereotypical rebellious teen image that I've never really had to deal with self-centered, self-absorbed teen angst (as far as I've noticed, but I'm dreadfully oblivious). Of course, I hang out with the nerds and the geeks, so maybe that's it. I just know that if I had to deal with teenage rebellion, I'd be pissed.

I'm not going to be legally able to drink until senior year!! gonk Not that I plan on drinking, or anything, it's just the principle of the matter.

It's really just the principle. Not doing something is so much more rewarding when you're not doing it out of choice, not from legal restraints. It's like my abstinence; I was happy when I became legal, not because that meant I could go screw whomever I pleased, but because I had the choice. That, and because it scared the s**t out of my friends.
