"Yes... I called upon Cerberus and he brought them back..." Vitae laid there and looked at Timiki, "Are you all right Timiki?" The god asked in a tender voice. He reached over to pet her and winced as he moved his arm.

Timiki just laid there, giving a small yap before becoming silent once more. Her heart was still pounding after the encounter with the hounds. For a moment, she thought she would have been dead back there. What were they doing in that forest? "Don't tell me Hades sent them..." she muttered to no one in particular.

"I think we both know the answer Timiki... He just loves to create havoc..." Vitae slowly got up again, "Sadly there's nothing the gods can do.... He'll just say they got out on accident and apologize... Besides, what worse punishment is there to living for all eternity in Tartarus..." He started to hobble back to their house.

At the mention of Tartarus, Olan began to shudder. Quickly, he picked Timiki up and proceeded to follow Vitae back to the house. "Err... Vitae, speaking of Tartarus, what would my punishment have been if I was sent there?"

"Punishment? For what?" Vitae looked back at his husband and tilted his head a little, "Hmmm.... So why would you be sent to Tartarus?" He settled down in the house and sat down on the leaf bed.

"You don't remember?" Olan asked, a bit unnerved. "That trial from a few days ago... If Timiki didn't help me, I would have been sent to eternal suffering." He wasn't sure if maybe he should talk any more about that. If Vitae forgot, then that's the end of it, yet he couldn't help wonder about what his fate originally was.

Vitae tilted his head, "Is that the one where you upset me? If it was that one I doubt anything serious would happen to you.... all punishment goes through Hades. I think the destruction of the living would've been fun for him so he'd have been lenient on you."

Olan wasn't the least bit relieved. "Still sounds bad, but I suppose I should assume I wouldn't have a punishment as bad as Tantalus'," he muttered, setting Timiki down on the leaf bed. "I suppose Hades wasn't very happy when I was brought back to life..."

"The opportunity to kill a living thing is a privilege. Especially a demi god who has the power to destroy him... Although, since your first trial I've heard Heracles has been killing a lot of my animals. My lion, my hydra, and countless others..."
A god flew down from the sky and went into the house. "Here you are Vitae. A message from the gods." Then he flew away using his sandals with wings on them.
Vitae starts reading it, "Heracles..." He crumpled up the note and looked at Olan, "Do you want to come with me?".the gold held out his hand as he asked. He looked a little troubled but he had a warm aura about him.

"I suppose I'd like to. I don't want to stay here all the time," Olan replied, but then he remembered one rather important thing. "Or maybe I should stay... I'm not sure I should leave Timiki alone."

"You can bring her with us if you'd like..." Vitae said as he prepared himself to go to Mt. Olympus. "So when you're erady just grab my hand and hold onto Timiki and then we'll go."

Olan nodded and then lifted Timiki from her spot on the leaf bed. The fox yelped, but didn't seem to protest all that much. Without another moment's hesitation, he took hold of Vitae's waiting hand. "So, what are you doing now?"

"Well I want to put Heracles on trial. He's killed so many of my animals..." Vitae took Olan's hand in his and the three ascended into the air. Then he talked with the other gods and goddesses. Then he took a seat with the others and Heracles popped up out of nowhere. This time HE was standing center stage.

Olan took a seat next to Vitae and watched the trial proceed. So this was Heracles? The one who was to go after Hades? He looked like an ordinary man. Did he really kill a lion and a hydra?

The trial proceeded and the gods all discussed several matters. The gods each took their sides which Vitae didn't move since he was the one that instigated the trial but Hera moved with him as well as Hades and some other gods and the others moved to the other side. Heracles just stood there confused.
