Amber nodded her thanks and in acknowledgement to Sendo allowing Raven to stay, though she remained in her position with her knees up to her chest and her eyes closed. her hair blew with the wind that brought a small chill and made goosebumps break out across her arms seven years ago... the ghost of a smile played on Amber's lips as she recalled Sendo taking her to this guild to live, though it turned to a frown of puzzlement when she tried to remember anything before that. i remember always being scared before that day when i met Sendo, and then just being in her presence made me feel safe and secure.. maybe that's why i didn't question how she found me? because she made the fear go away...she gave me a purpose to live... her shoulders moved in a sigh and she listened to Sendo's words that seemed to paint a picture of that night that eluded her memory for seven years
i know that village... Amber thought slowly, trying to grasp on to that recognition before it slipped away a flash in her memory of a young boy-pale,homeless,terrified, and long periods of malnutrition etched in to his eyes and bones- crying as a large man loomed over him, who's face was flushed from his shouts of anger. Apples and coins fell from the boy's shirt and pockets as he was first smacked across hi face where he lost his balance and crashed to the ground, and then dragged roughly to his feet by the front of his shirt. The man continued his rough treatment of the boy with more blows. then-then i ran forward and pushed the man as hard as i could, begging for him to stop. more flashes of memories, all attempting to piece together that broken day. ... somehow made him stumble... the boy struggled free of his grasp..ran down the street wailing.. and the man towered above me, smacked me and shoved me to the ground and i hit my head, and then things went dark, like i lost consciousness.. Amber opened her eyes and stared at Sendo as she revealed the rest of what happened that night. Mad laughter pierced her ears and her hand twitched when she felt the force of moving a blade through a thick mass and heard a thunk-many thunks- as heavy objects fell to the ground. but what pervaded her body the most was a twisted pleasure. it was pure bliss to chop in to flesh and slowly drain them of blood as they screamed in anguish, and then to suck in their souls before they scattered and disappeared To feel her own strength growing as theirs diminished, the pure power of the souls as they entered her own body and was consumed by her own ragged soul tainted by the demon. The power coursed through her veins and seemed to set every hair follicle on end with electricity and set her fingers on fire.. The power welling up.... felling impenetrable, invincible... close to immortal... Amber came back to herself, then, and wiped her sweaty palms on her knees, licked her lips and kept herself looking calm and collected, so as to not let people know the torrent of emotions whirling inside her, though there was a thin film of cold sweat across her forehead and the back of her neck to betray her. stop, please don't tell me any more.. is what she wanted to whimper out, though she forced herself to remain still and listen to the story, again with her eyes closed. As Sendo continued on, the flashes of memories stabbed at Amber, trying to make the young woman crack and lose control. -blood spurting on to Amber and drenching her in the nearly boiling fluids, more cries cut short, more laughter coming from her own lips... The desire to kill, to hear the intoxicating screams of agony, and to watch all fall before her for all eternity as she devoured the souls of the slain to absorb the power; this seemed to slap her in the face with the sheer magnitude of what she wanted. NO! The demon isn't affecting me right now, so i dont feel that way! youre not it and you dont want that! Amber mentally screamed at herself. Though, even in her head, the scream was softly spoken and barely heard. it was just enough to keep her from shaking, though. A Droplet of water fell on her exposed arm and caused a track through the dried mud and blood, exposing her pale skin underneath.

Jashinmaru sat patiently where she was, her full attention on Sendo as she began speaking. Even the sudden drop in temperature from the wind failed to rouse her attention elsewhere. The light both in and reflecting off her eyes dimmed and darkened as the leader of the Kuroihisakata went on with her story. It seemed as though Sendo had hypnotized the woman, her eyes even going as far as to become glassy as the blowing wind increased in force. Not even when Sendo Kon turned her attention to her did she react - it was when the flow of words was directed at her that she finally respond. Jashinmaru, I have to ask if you happen to remember any of this. You have the mind of a killer-
Suddenly, it seemed that one Sendo Kon had become a comedian with a very fine joke. The cigar fell limply and weakly from the Jashinist`s mouth as her lips twisted into a deranged maniac grin. As soon as the cigar hit the bloodied soil, her warm grey eyes flashed into a brilliant bloody red. She seemed not to be smiling, but rather baring her canine teeth. And she burst into a fit of laughter. Laughter deep, dark and god-like - in short, it wasn`t hers. Just as Sendo Kon finished addressing the laughing.. beast, let`s say.. she seemed to calm, and lowered her head so that her eyes were unblinkingly staring into the eyes of Kuroihisakata`s leader. Tiny tips of her canine teeth now hung out over her bottom lip; not just one pair, but two. Her expression was one of genuine amusement. "'Not enough fire,' she said. 'Not enough structure. The work of demon - a demon who obviously handled a flow of power that it lacked the intelligence to control.' That was it - wasn`t it?" Jashinmaru questioned in her new voice - the one which didn`t belong to her.
She then stood, and it seemed that her skin, clothes, and even weapons fell to rest where she had been sitting as she did. As though the act of standing allowed her to shed mortal trappings and become a god. Indeed, for a god of sorts now stood where the blond woman had been sitting moments before. The red eyes that had taken over the grey ones dominated the pale face of a man. A man with the tips of his canines - two sets - poking meekly out from the cover of his upper lip. A man with messy black hair, just long enough to be able to mat should he chose it to. A man covered in scars, wearing a large black fur as his only clothing.. and two necklaces with pendants of the Jashin religion around his neck. "Of course that was it. She told me herself - and she hasn`t forgotten. That was the day she gave up her immortality, corrupted by the everlasting pull of power. Because she could not have that blade for herself, she gave her life to keep it out of anybody else`s hands. Hence, the reason neither she nor that blade are with us."
The man who had apparently disguised himself as Jashinmaru then reached behind his neck and gingerly took one of the necklaces (and the corresponding pendant) from around his neck, and held it over Amber until he seemed satisfied with something. Once he seemed satisfied, he dropped the necklace into Amber`s lap through a trick of the wrist. As soon as the metal of the pendant made contact with Amber, another large gust of wind tore through the clearing, and the man`s body blew away as though it were smoke.

Laughter echoed around Amber, synchronizing with the laughter her own lips did, though deeper, and its notes were dripping with power just below the surface. it took a few seconds to piece together it wasn't her own, nor was it within her mind. though it was..intoxicating. just hearing it made her own lips twitch upwards in to a malicious smile. something compelled her to open her eyes and glance in Jashinmaru's direction, and she caught sight of a man towering among what looked like a pile of skin and clothes. Maru's axe lay next to the pile. her eyes traveled slowly up his body, taking in the scars, fur, and the sheer power radiating off him. how the man held himself clearly showed he knew the magnitude of power he wielded..and it was clear he could obviously use it. Amber felt hopelessly inferior to this obvious god-like creature now in her presence once the shock of seeing him standing before her, she focused on what he was saying. Because she could not have that blade for herself, she gave her life to keep it out of anybody else`s hands. Jashinmaru died for my sword? Amber thought daftly, her hand straying to the hilt and resting there-not to defend herself from this man or to attack, but to feel its presence dazedly, and to reassure herself it was there. the sword itself was sheathed in her hilt, and her hand strayed down to where the indigo gem used to set, nestled into the hilt. once her finger-tip touched it, a brief flash of heat in her finger caused her to break her gaze away from the man to stare at that spot on her sword. the pieces of the indigo gem that had shattered and were now scattered around the crater they were sitting in became drawn to that spot, as if magnetized to do so, and they began piecing together the shattered gem. once all the pieces were shakily held together there, one final slash of pain hit her finger, where a drop of blood welled up and fell on to the gem. once the liquid hit the pieces, they flashed the color of that fresh droplet of blood and mended back together, leaving only a single crack going down the center of the gem. Amber's eyes shifted back to the man, who she was startled now stood above her with a pendant hanging, twisting slowly by the rosary held in his hand, that shown the Jashinist symbol on it. as it fell through the air towards her, Amber held out the palm of her hand to catch the cold metal. the gust that went through whipped her hair in to her face, and once it died down and Amber could see again, the man was nowhere to be seen. not that Amber was fully seeing what was happening at the present anyways. her eyes were still distant, and the ghost of the smile that appeared on Amber's lips when the laughter first commenced was still there. "No footprints" Amber giggled out then as she stared at the ground in front of her where the god had just stood, her hand slowly tracing the Jashinist symbol in her hand. Only my pretty tainted blood is left! this thought brought forth another spasm of giggles that soon after turned in to a fit of coughs among the insane laughter.

Joan Renard Love arrives and in its train come ecstasies old memories of pleasure
Joan walked through the silent woods, a strange cold followed her, within three feet of her the temperature dropped. Joan showed no sign of noticing the cold. Mist came from her mouth as she breathed a sign of how cold it was. Joan’s hood was pulled down, showing her spiked short blond hair. It was messy but in a way it almost looked styled, but not quite. Joan made almost no sound as she moved, only the cracking of leaves made any noise. Only the small dents in the earth showed where she stepped. Every foot print had a small layer of frost on it that meddled as soon as it got out of the cold bubble.
"It should be around here some where." Joan mumbled under her breath. Looking around Joan stopped. 'Maybe I should just give up. Why'd I join anyways? Oh that’s right, Raven asked me.' Joan thought. A small smirk crossing her boyish features when she thought about her old friend. They hadn't seen each other in a long time, but a few weeks back Joan had gotten a letter from raven asking her to join this group. Joan sighed, her breath come out as the white mist.
Just then Joan felt something to the west. Joans head turned sharply, it wasn't human what ever it was. Upon looking father into it, Joan could feel three non-humans. Joan’s eyebrows came together. That was very uncommon. With a slight frown Joan headed west. When she got closer she could smell the metallic smell of blood in the air. As she got close she could almost taste it. This was one of those times have super senses did not come in handy. As she got closer Joan stopped for a moment. 'What happened?' Joan wondered as she started walking again. She froze mid-step as the most powerful of the non-humans disappeared. A shocked expression passed over her face. Energy’s did not just disappear like that.
Joan sighed and continued moving slightly faster now. She wanted to see what was going on. She soon came across a clearing. The clearing was splattered with blood. Joan could see three people in it. One she knew, two she didn't know. Joans see green eyes first when to a woman with a tail. She blinked, right away knowing this must be Sendo. Joan's eyes turned towards the bowen-haired girl sitting in the middle of a crater covered in blood, the blood was all over her making her brown hair a redish color. The girl was giggling like a mad woman. Joan’s eyes then turned to Raven who was sitting near the red-head. Joan stepped a little father into the clearing. "What happened here?"Joan mumbled under her breath.
ancient histories of pain. Yet if we are bold, love strikes away the chains of fear from our souls.

Raven rested her head in her plams taking all this in. Raven wasn't mad at amber nor did she hate her. Raven moved closer to amber just before the story ended. raven wasn't sure how to react to all of this. As Maru changed into to some wolf-man Raven looked up. She didn't say anything che just wearly watched him. Raven took a deep breath when the man went with the wind. This confussed raven beacuse of her own power over wind was simler. raven still didn't say anything but wrapped amber in a hug. What else could she do? Looking up she saw her old friend over ambers head. The first throught that came into her head upon seeing Joan was She cut her hair.. But now you could see the peirceings running up the side of Joans ears. Raven gave a small nod tworeds her before foccuseing on amber again. raven wonderd if ambers demon would react to joan. Joan was a half demon herself after all.Raven a sad look on her face seeing amber like this. "If I ever get my hands on that demon I'm going to destory it." raven muttered to her self. how was one usspussed to deal with a friend on the brink of insantiy?

when Raven put her arms around Amber, her giggles slowed slightly, though they still shook her shoulders. more droplets of rain fell, hitting the ground around them and occasionally hitting the members. the slight cough that had been amongst the giggles soon took over completely and had Amber doubling over her knees. since the laughter started, her face and neck first become a pale rose, but now they were fully flushed with heat, though her cheeks were pale from lack of blood. once the coughing fit lessened enough where she could loosen her muscles, Amber leaned in to Raven and rested her head on Raven's shoulder. Giggles bubbled over out of nowhere and wherever Amber's flushed skin touched Raven's, you could obviously tell the young woman was feverish. Amber's eyes slowly focused on a woman standing in the distance. "Raven.." more feeble giggles. "if my tainted blood is so pretty, what would hers look like?" to try and prove what she said about her own blood, Amber tried holding her arm out in front of her, where the last of the blood was drying. her arm shook visibly from the effort and Amber herself could barely see in front of her. Amber's vision was blurring rapidly and her strength was leaving her at an alarming rate "how pretty would it be to make her look like i did?" Amber slowly closed her eyes and seemed to have trouble opening them again, and coughed a few times "would it be fun to watch the light leave her eyes?" her own eyes seemed almost glassy at this point, and had a sickly waxy tint to the skin underneath them. Feverish eyes that also seemed to reflect the allusion of innocence with the questions she asked in a manner very much like a child would. just thinking about it twitched Amber's lips upwards as she bared her teeth in a smile, and more giggles came unbidden out through her lips. Amber lay her hand in to her lap and continued the tracing of the Jashinist symbol as she continued more quietly, more feebly. "Rave.." Amber opened her mouth again, trying to form words of another question that popped in to her mind, but then her strength left her and her body went limp as she could hold on to consciousness no longer.

Where Ambers skin touched ravens neck she felt how feverish she was. When Amber started saying somthing about tainted blood, raven looked at Joan. So beaoucse of Ambers demon she knew what Joan was. Raven had a feeling this would make promblems later. Raven foccased on Amber knowing that she was not her normal self. When She lost consciousness, Raven grabbed her to keep from falling. Setting her down genty raven looked at sendo. Blood loss was somthing raven a very hard time healing. She hoped Sendo would have somthing up her sleeve for this mess.

Sendo Kon of the Black Moon
Sendo was thoroughly surprised- not that she would show it of course, But for a god to appear here of all places. it was...unsettling. Even more so was the fact that that was just not any god. That was Jashin-sama. Of all the divine beings of the cosmos, it had to be Him. The god of chaos, death, and utter destruction. It made her fur bristle. But the greater question here is; Why did He come here? And for what reasons? Was it just to approve of Amber? why would He want her to join Him? It might have something to do with the amount of blood that Amber had lost. She should have already died from the sheer amount of vital fluids lost. The fact that she was only now unconscious was an impressive feat by itself. And that sword.. That sword that too had drawn Sendo to it. That scent and aura once acted as a nearly-fatal,powerful pheromone. That fiend sealed in the sword would attempt almost anything to procure her. It was her soul, after all, that would grant it its greatest wish. Sendo's nose still tingled with the scent of the god..Strong and acrid, yet still all the same - sweet and tantalizing. But overall, the scent of blood - fresh and old. A scent that all Jashinists gradually carry. And to think... To think-no, to realize- that Jashinmaru herself died that day...The day when one certain fox had to fight seriously... Sendo closed her eyes, reliving that moment - that moment when she first felt that presence... When Jashinmaru's eyes were blood-red... when her grip changed on Itsuki...when fear was finally known... For a Jashinist to give up their life willingly... But all would feel blessed at the notion itself... Nothing is right. Not here. Sendo turned her attention to Amber. The girl was cracking. She needed medical attention. But now that Jashin-sama had praised her... That would have to be dealt with later. "Amber... No. Raven." Sendo's ears turned in her direction, then towards the oncoming storm before lowering. "We need to get Amber back to the base. Unfortunately, because of her...condition... I am unable to heal her without danger." The wind - as if to emphasize her point - whipped again around the members and through the forest. It ripped loose leaves and branches from the trees and threw them to the clouds and earth. The scent carried was old and damp...electrified... Sendo's right ear twitched as an unearthly howl was carried with another gust. "i will join you shortly. There is something i must take care of first" She glanced at Amber - her eyes an unreadable emotion - before turning and walking in to the forest, disappearing into the darkness
Death is only one tail away.

Raven nodded remebering when she had nearly died against Ambers demon, when sendo had saved her the demon had something about Sendos soul. Raven sat there for one last moment before scoping amber in to her arms bridel style and stood up. Raven gave a small nodd to Joan for her to follow her. Raven started towreds the base not saying a word.
