Destiny's features softened at the final decision, a heavy exhale given. But the decision itself did not brighten her expression, as it was still dragged down, barely changed. She bowed to the goddess and slowly shuffled over to Zach, passing him by and taking a stand a bit aways from him. She'd kick his a** later... and his sister would probably kick hers later, too.

Zach saw Thalia approach him. She smacked him, then hugged him. "Um... what was that for?" The girl laughed. "I hit you because you're an idiot, and I hugged you as a thanks. I was getting bored."

He carefully picked six of the Huntresses, then they set out. Thalia stayed close to Zach.

Destiny stayed just as close, if not closer to Zach than Thalia. She was happy, but failed to show it despite how close she was to Zach.

They stood at the edge of the small camp. Arachne sat in a clearing, her legs curled around her.

Destiny swallowed hard, her skin crawling in goosebumps.
S-Spider.
Destiny was already freezing in place. She hated spiders. Zach knew this. Her lips parted a bit, panting lightly already as she gulped.

"Fire at Arachne first," Zach whispered. "She's weakest..." The huntresses nodded, taking aim. Then the six with bows shot, piercing Arachne. She hissed and faded away.

Destiny shook her head a bit, watching as the spider withered away slowly. Beads of sweat were already dripping down her forehead as she glanced away, catching her breath.
Don't become distracted. Overcome your fears. He'll think you're weak. ... Why am I proving myself to him to begin with?

Then, all hell broke loose. Two lightning bolts shattered half the forces, and Zach and Thalia grinned at each other before drawing sword and spear, respectively, and charging.

Her gaze shifted up into the sky as the lightning bolts hit ground. Booms and bangs and light everywhere! The thrill of the battle was surging up through her feet and into her system. She felt the rumbling of the earth and vanished into the chaos, using brute force as her weapon. At one point, without even knowing, her hand shifted as she stood upright, legs parted for balance and her arm held out straight in front of her, the blast of a cannon leaning her back a bit as she fired. Her arm itself had formed into one, creating large balls of energy gathered together that whirred through the air and corroded the surface it touched upon impact.

"Corruption and Fulfillment!" Zach laughed as two new blades manifested in his hands. He slashed straight through one.

She snickered, bringing up both hands now she produced twice the fire power. After a moment, a handful had fallen to the ground, scorched by her energy and now her victims would carry on dents and tears. One hand morphed again into a large sword of sorts which became detatchable and then created another hand. She loved this technology!
Schwing!
There went a head.
KLANK!
There went a body. She went crazy, cutting and breaking, tearing limb from limb each one she could.

"Get them back!" Wide-eyed at Zach's now stormy eyes, Thalia pulled everybody back. Lightning tore through the camp, hitting everything that wasn't Zach.

Destiny stood back just in the nick of time when Zach tore through the camp with lightning bolts. She watched, awe struck, at the chaos and destruction that he had provided within a mere moment.
So much power... so much energy.
She glanced down at her hands for a moment, noticing that she was bleeding and that skin was torn around her knuckles and up to her elbow. In some areas, the metal under her flesh was exposed as well as wires. She sighed and watched again.
He has all this power in an instant... It'd take years, no, eternity, for me to get there.
