... I am speechless at Arnim and Red Skull. Those are amazing.
Speaking of the new 3 3/4 scale Marvel, the second I see Iron Fist I'm picking up two. One is to have Danny Rand beat the hell out of some of my Cobras, the other ... use some of my left over G.I. Joe parts and having Orson Randall grace my shelf.

Garth AL I plan on getting Ronin and Hand ninja today! xp Great figures, good amount of accessories with them, to. Hand is more of an army builder, though, so I'm not picking it up. I've got: GGoblin Black Spidey (Using it as DA Venom) Bullseye Deadpool Sabretooth Ult Cap Ronin Silver Surfer Spidey On Fire Johnny Storm
The badguys are great additions to my Cobra forces. Need three guys to have all of Cobra high council.

God damnit. She's way out of my price range. *sigh* I actually don't mind the velvet, or the lace up, which I thought would really bug me. But the color is so dead on that I like it. And the hair. There's no such thing as a good, affordable Catwoman, is there? It's nice that they want to cater to the "collector's doll market," and that they're making a wider variety of the kinds of toys they produce. Really. But it seems like my price points are Ridiculously Exhorbent or Made With Disintigrating Plastic. I can pay a disgusting amount of money for one toy, or a more reasonable price for a sculpt so bad it looks like Catwoman either went super butch on steroids, or Nightwing took up crossdressing. There's not a lot of middle ground.

If it's like last year, Tonner is going to give a 10% discount to people who will wear their booth sticker, so there's that to take into account.

That's right, she's on the Lara Croft body, isn't she.
How many are going to be available? Last year after SDCCI they actually put the exclusive Supergirl on sale up on their site to get rid of their remaining stock.

LE200.
I don't think she's overpriced, compared to the price of other Tonner dolls in the line, and the price of Deluxe Wonder Woman and Supergirl ($200). I think her price is the same as Wonder Woman's original full retail price, or close to it (I think her full retail was 169ish?, Catwoman will be 180ish after tax). Plus, DC sells their deluxe figures for $100-- and IMO these dolls quality really stand out! I thought they were too expensive, before I shut down and finally bought my first one. :O Then I was hooked... and now I am poor.
Tonner does sell the extras on their website, and ends up doing crazy sales after about 6 months if any stock is left, but the convention Wonder Woman sold out days after they posted the leftovers. sad I'm hoping by August I have a new job so I can stalk the Tonner Direct site, and can afford to get her at retail price.
I haven't paid full retail on any of my DC stars dolls, except Convention Exclusive ones and Hal (cause he was too freaking pretty to wait to get!)
Convention doll prices on ebay however... will make you sick. I gave up trying to win the original Mera (...flipper feet lol ) and ended up finding someone on my Tonner collector's board to purchase her from. sad I still had to pay a hefty fee for her, but it was at least half of what she has been going for on evilbay.
The day of the convention I wouldn't be surprised to see Catwoman go for $300 with Buy it Now on ebay. So if you're going to the convention... wink You can buy two, then sell the extra and put the profit towards the one you are keeping. But you've gotta literally take the pic in your hotel room and list it, within minutes of your purchase.
I sold my extra set of Tonner Convention dolls that way. smile Which was nice, since I had to pay for my friend's ticket ($375!!!!!) Shameless, but nice.
I am kinda upset that they did this outfit on the Deluxe version the same year they put out the regular line one. :/ Also, I was upset that the Deluxe version of Black Canary is literally just a bigger boobed and higher booted version of what they already released. I was hoping for her to be in a more modern version, similar to what the Black Canary Barbie wore. :<
Also, at the Tonner Convention, Robert Tonner said that they did make a Hawk Man, but DC wouldn't allow them to produce the doll yet, since it was too close to their DC Direct release of their Deluxe Hawk Man. Apparently DC really pushes for more females, since they think the male dolls will be too much competition for their Deluxe Figures (which is dumb cause DC Direct's are 1/6 scale action figures with sculpted hair, and Tonner's are 1/4 scale dolls with rooted hair).
BTW~ The next male hero will be.....
THE MOTHER*BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP*G FLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that I see DC is doing their version of Catwoman, I kinda wonder if that's why the Deluxe Catwoman is just a convention edition, and why she wasn't offered wearing that outfit in the first place.
And why we haven't seen Zatanna or Green Arrow yet... sad

I think $175 is an outrageous price for the only decent Catwoman dolls currently available to the public, Tonner or no Tonner. It's my only option if I want a good looking doll, or I can import one of the Takaras from Japan. There's a couple very nice looking Mattel dolls for other heroes, you want Catwoman? Still well over $100 on ebay, if you can ever find her.
The DC deluxe Catwoman looks like a crossdresser, it's pathetic. Her head sculpt and paint job are ludicrous. I've seen a dozen or more of these dolls in person and they all look like crap. I've got a mini Takara doll a few inches tall, and the Long Halloween figure. And thus concludes the good looking Catwomen under $100.
I'm going to round up as many people for the Tonner talk as possible and make a grab for her in the raffle. It's pretty much the only way I'm going to get one of these things.
