Iba raised his head high and laughed uncontrollably he was obviously enjoying his battle. This fight was the most challenging of all the spars during this training session. The other shinigami were easily devoured by Iba's blade moments after the spar had begun but Ugu at least managed to hold up longer than 10 minutes.
The giant of a man began to shunpo around dodging the quick slashes that Ugu released upon him but remained in almost the exact spot each time he shunpoed. "Mind if I ask you something Ugu-kun?"
"How long have you had that shikai of yours?"

Without waiting for an answer, he dodged the third slash and returned shunpoing infront of Ugu with his face nearly touching Ugu's. He stabbed his cleaver-like zampakuto at full force aiming at Ugu's gut again, and since they were at such close range, dodging would be nearly impossible for Ugu now at his skill level. Iba then began to pull his zampakuto from side to side slicing Ugu open if possible. Iba was a blood thirsty fighter, he loved to fight but he wasn't heartless if Ugu was close to death he would know and would end the battle.

"Two years." Ugu saw the attack coming. He saw it, and tried to move out of the way. His opponent was simply faster than him. Period. And Iba Kimigahara's cleaver seared past his thin and already blood soddened clothing. A long and thick gash settled itself from the left side of his hips all the way up to his right shoulder, and a thick splatter of blood flung itself out of the freshly created wound.
He quickly took a step back and brought up Egeus. His body, suddenly a small bit lighter as blood seeped from his newly administered wound, flew forward. With a few thwicks of his blade he parried his foe's attack and charged straight toward him. He smashed his blade at his opponent with a fierce smile donning on his face.
Blood. Ferocity. Blood. This was battle and he was loving it.

Iba returned the smile as he too came forward grabbing the blade of Ugu with his bare hand. The blade itself was clamped in between his fingers and his thumb and not one part of the sharp parts of Ugu's zampakuto was touching his hand. Ugu was struggling to try to pull it down but Iba's strength was way over Ugu's.

With his left hand on his zampakuto, he raised it and quickly chopped at Ugu three times straight at the left shoulder hoping to deal more damage to his already injured opponent. "How you holding up there Ugu-kun?"

The first slice took Ugu by surprise and cut open his left shoulder with a hellish-looking gash. The next two, though, were no match for Ugu. His body shifted to his right and he pushed his savage blade into his opponent's hand. "I alright, Kimigahara." Obviously, if Iba was holding it, he'd probably be cut by it. Three successive pushes made way to cut into the flesh that kept his blade fixed.

Iba gritted his teeth as he tightened his grip on Ugu's zampakuto's edge, if he let go, his hand could be cut in two through the palm. A nasty sight and would be hell to fight without his right hand. But Iba was cocky and loved the position he was in.

With the same left hand, he used one hand and began hacking at Ugu again the first slash aimed for the same shoulder as before. The second aimed closer to the neck and the final one aimed at Ugu's left arm.

Again Ugu shifted his body, but was only able to dodge two of his opponent's attacks. Still, though, he pushed on with his blade at his opponent's hand. He gave a mighty grunt and pushed himself forward, putting all of his strength into fighting Kimigahara.

He continued to grit his teeth as he tightened his grip on the zampakuto, his veins started to show quite a bit all over his arm as he smiled at Ugu as he lifts up his zampakuto with his left hand.

"Hehe, your persistent..." he complimented Ugu as his zampakuto came crashing down towards Ugu's shoulder again. The second attack was not an overhead one hand slash this time though. He raised his zampakuto after the attack towards Ugu's shoulder and swung it sideways aimed at cutting the torso of Ugu. The following attack was the same thing. Could Zenmaru endure such punishment for so long?

The shoulder blow hit. However, as his opponent slashed at Ugu from the side, Ugu made a massive leap. He moved up toward where Iba had tried lifting Egeus and completely lifted himself with Iba alone holding him up. With his feet off the ground and his weight fully on his sword he continued to push down on his opponent. "Kira-Kirikizu," he said, again, as blood dribbled from his wounds to the luke-warm steel that he held between both of his hands.
Again a mass of green reiatsu flowed from his shikai to envelope his whole body. All of his wounds meshed together once more and he was revived. "I will never give up, Iba-san," he said with a smirk. Egeus had said to 'let it go'.. And now he was. He was fighting and was fighting only to fight. This was.. Fun. The push, ebb, the flow of battle sung to him through the sweat and blood of him and his foe. It was simply exhilarating and almost inebriating.

He smiled relieved that his new opponent and sparring partner would not die on him so easily. He laughed now that he didn't have to hold back. With the same right hand again he pushed the blade back pushing Ugu in mid-air, it would be an impossible feat for an average shinigami to do something like grabbing a zampakuto as it came towards you but also grab it and push it back as your opponent continued to add pressure onto it? Iba was a beast..

His left hand was getting somewhat tired from doing the same motions over and over again. He slung it forward not with much effort at first, then as he raised for the second strike, he tightened the grip on the hand guard and swung down hard toward's the arm again. He then released his grip, pulled the zampakuto back again and tightened it. Then he released the attack as a stab toawrds Ugu's gut.

The first slice cut through his obi, just like the other sword swings that Iba had executed, and pierced Ugu's tanned and scarred flesh. Before Iba could continue with his next two blow, though, he shifted to the side. By doing this he shifted out of the swings that Iba had done after his first attack.
Following the same shift of body weight, Ugu moved to slam his feet back onto the ground to Iba's left. While attempting this the man continued to press against his opponent's arm that continued to hold onto his Egeus.
