Midori sighed, "Welllllll, since my zanpakutou turns into a vine, it's useless, unless the bugs eat away the the meat... And uhmmm, the group didn't have a decent meal last night..."Midori said, "And almost everything here is dead... Might as well call it Death island..." Midori said, "No one can possibley survive on this island..." Midori groaned as she was a little mortified that she couldn't do the task herself. She knew that she could've done it, but her zanpakutou was almost useless when it came to killing for food.

The blade retracted as Ichimaru stood up straight once more and smirked a little at Midori. "Ya got a kidou zanpakutou? Wouldn't want to show Kenpachi-taichou would ya?" the man teased a little, knowing how frowned upon those kinds of zanpakutous are in the 11th division.

Meikin couldn't help but feel a little awe for the man as she strode back over with the look all over her face. "How did you do that? You can manipulate physical things as well?" she started, still very much in awe. It made her forget about what had been said about her the night before.

Lilin looked over towards everyone else quietly, having reverted back to her introverted self after sleeping. She had gotten over her feelings of worry, sleep having the effect of clearing her emotions. She wasn't quite sure what to do for now, though she knew that they should probably look for the sister and friend.

Renya had walked most of the night and seemed to be in the field, shielding her eyes from the morning sun. She was more than exhausted and her legs were very weak from walking around. She had never walked around for such a long amount of time nor over such rough terrain. It was like going from the bunny slopes to an expert run.

"It's my zanpakutou," Gin replied simply before going over and patting Midori on the head with a friendly smile. "Don'cha worry though. I won't tell Kenpachi-taichou, alright?" he told her, knowing how much trouble she would get into. She wasn't a threat to him so there was really no reason to give her a hard time.

Midori looked down, she didn't like Kenpachi-taichou very much, she called him Pirate man because he wore an eye patch. She had basically nicknames for everyone. Some were good, some were bad, and some were in between. Midori looked at the lake which was now crimson red. Midori walked over to the monster. It's mouth still had blood freely flowing out. Midori smelled strong iron due to the blood.
The monster breathed really hard, some reason Midori saw sadness and sorrow in it's eyes.
Midori looked at it, noticing a thick black thorn was in one of it's arm, and a few numbers on it's scales. Midori looked at it, then tried to pull it out. Midori looked at Ammy and then satched Issun off of Izumi's head. Midori tried to get Ammy and Issun to try to pull out the thorn. Midori sighed, and kept pulling, not wanting anyone else to help but Ammy and Issun. Midori wondered if she got her zanpakutou to do her work. She was still worried about what Ichimaru had said, ofcourse she was sometimes a worry-wart around any taichou. Midori finally tried with all of her strength to pull out the thorn. Midori got the black thorn out a little bit, the blood dripped a little puddle along the ground. The more she tried to oull out the thorn, the more blood began to drip at the ground. Soon the thorn came out of the ar and the blood ran like a river. It's body began to disappear though.
"Neh? Awww maaaan! No more meat!" Midori cried aloud.

"Uh... wha-?" Larissa blinked once or twice. "Um, yeah, I'm fine..."
