"I believe I can provide one last option for you." Everyone looked to see Itachi, his eyes staring down Tsukiko. "We of Akatsuki would like to extend a hand of partnership to you, since the outter world here will only use you as a tool. Come with us, and we will make the world a better place... by our own standards." He extended a hand for her to take, if she so chooses to accept.

As she took his hand, they both poofed away, her destination set...

After a few days of getting to know most of the senior members, Pein and most of the members came to meet her with an Akatsuki cloak. "Now, to make things official. You realize that we will ask you to kill and take lives. Remember that the lives we take, though it may damn us, will bring salvation to those that the slain have oppressed or enslaved. In wearing this cloak, you will take lives that are necessary, nothing more. Do you accept?"

Konan came at her from behind and helped her get the cloak on, letting it hang on her shoulder. "Then Welcome, Tsukiko, to the Akatsuki." Hidan popped open a bottle of shampaign, making everyone cheer. After that was out of the way, they all started their celebration in a dinning area, where they also celebrated the recovery of one of their other members: Nine walked into the room, his skin looking human again as he gave a smile to everyone. Shortly he noticed the new member and came up to shake her hand. "Hey, the name is Nine, welcome." Even though he didn't remember her at all, he still wore the pendant she gave him before the final fight.

Nine wondered what she was looking at, then noticed the pendant himself. "Oh yea, I'm not sure who gave this to me. But I do feel the effort and love that was put into this. I wish I knew who it was though...." He felt a tear on his face and rubbed it off. "Anyways, I hope we'll work well together in future missions. Enjoy the party..." He was pulled away by Hidan who wanted him to get to drink a Bloody Marry (not with tomato juice, that's for sure XP). Konan came by shortly afterwards and could see her pain. "Hey, I've heard from Itachi about what happened. I'm sorry you had to meet like this...."

"Well, perhaps he does. You made that pendant right? I've asked why he was wearing it but didn't remember why or how. I figured he would have trashed it by now.... I guess, in some way, he does remember you..."
Over at a corner most of the partiers gathered around and chanted CHUG continuously as Nine and Hidan got into a drinking contest with (chicken) blood (which taste like fish, except the fish: that tastes like chicken XD). Nine was looking really sick and almost hurled twice, admitting defeat, which made Hidan burst into a dance. "Or perhaps he doesn't have much of a brain after all sweatdrop "

"Good god, never doing that again..." Nine came out after hurling out the chugged blood looking green all over. He slumped against a rock wall, looking up into the star-filled sky. "And not a cloud in sight, like diamonds. He rubbed his hand on the pendant, wracking his brain about where he got it from. "Who was she? Dammit, if only I knew. Perhaps i'll ask Kimiko (Saint of Change, our Ex-Leader) when she comes back..." He went back inside, not once seeing Tsukiko anywhere in plain sight. He was back to his old self, like the day they met.

As she wrote, the others were either sleeping or beginning to head out for another mission, now leaving her new home nice and quiet.

And thus, her story may have come to an end, but it had only just begun, as a part of the Akatsuki...
