Zai, started eating the ramen, suprizingly... she kept perfect posture at the table and continued eating never putting down the chopsticks. "Sorry kid that there is only chicken flavored."

In a few minutes, Zai had finished. "Kid, today you wanna learn how to read numbers, money amounts, time and such?"

"Ok, here is one." She put one penny down. "Two, three, four, five." She added one per number, then put them to the side and took out a nickel. "You know a nickel is equal to five, so add one and it is six, then seven, eight, nine, ten." Zai then put a dime next to that pile. "Dime is equal to ten. See what I mean so far?"

Edward wandered into the building. Looking around he moved to the ladder and began to climb. Last time he did this he was going to kill himself, now he is just going to go and enjoy being alone, so he can reclaim his thoughts.

Zai heard a bit of clinking, that sounded like footsteps outside, just faintly. "Hold up one sec, go over that k?" She stood up and walked out the door, down the hall and into the main room. Looking over, she saw a man walking up the ladder, and silently leaned against the wall and watched him.

Edward had a feeling that he was being watched, but didn't let it bother him. He just continued down the cat walk till he reached the end where he sat down.
