Haru Mania Ahh to have a busy life... Mine is being a bit weird of late, the whole "Holy s**t, I have to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life" thing is just starting to set in ^_^ Oh? Beginning the trek into your final resting place as a cog in this wonderful society? Any prospects?

Archlord Haru Mania Ahh to have a busy life... Mine is being a bit weird of late, the whole "Holy s**t, I have to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life" thing is just starting to set in ^_^ Oh? Beginning the trek into your final resting place as a cog in this wonderful society? Any prospects? It's rather confusing... I want to be an artist but I refuse to be an art major. I like how I draw. I like developing my own style and I don't really feel like having somone else tell me how to draw. But it's "Important" that I stay in school rolleyes School is sucking the creativity right out of me and I can't work on any projects that are going to kick off any art career I may have. And there's this nice shady plot in a cemetery in town that looks like a good place to take a long nap... but it's too ******** expensive xp

I like developing my own style and I don't really feel like having somone else tell me how to draw. But it's "Important" that I stay in school rolleyes School is sucking the creativity right out of me and I can't work on any projects that are going to kick off any art career I may have. Peculiar in that the path to it isn't quite as linear as most. Like music, acting, building giant cannons out of gol- wait scratch that. Anyway as I was saying. Really depends on your value on credentials doesn't it? The 'school' itself isn't a sacrosanct institution. It can be a powerful tool though. It can also be useless in some cases. If you can propel yourself forward by holding a degree from the place, well then... You've got some value. If the degree is useless though... Then why bother? Which is it for you? Capitalist inflation.... Well look on the bright side. At least it isn't communism. Communists are certified monsters.

An art degree from this school is like winning first prize in a finger painting contest in kindergarten. There big thing here is either engineering or psychology if I remember correctly... I'm mostly going to satify my mother which isn't a good reason at all to do anything. I dunno I just feel lost :\

wow... Archlord in OUR guild... wonders never ceace.
So I go to enrole in classes this mornign becasue I want to do so as quickly as possible for my [Insert fanfare here] last semester of College!! ANyway I was told that the first day I could was on the 11th... which is today, and THEN it turns out they ment the 11th at 10:15... so that's as irritateing as a condom made of sand paper.
