"Well, in the meantime, we've renovated most of the casinos and hotels to be adequate, if not spectacular, living quarters. Just find one that fits, and let us know where you're planning to stay. You can check in over there, with James."
Robert pointed toward a small building that looked to be a reconditioned ice-cream shack, and a smallish man wearing glasses inside of it.

The group approached the shack, and James smiled at them as he hands out clipboards, papers, and pens. "Hi there! These'll just take a moment to fill out, and it's just so we know who here still has Aberrant mutations in town. We do have to keep track of these things, you understand."

Alex smirked, and filled out the sheet. he couldn't shake the ugly feelings of doubt still remaining. He smelled bullshit and the smell wasn't going away.

Raleigh was also getting a feeling of unease, though he didn't share it. He kept shooting covert looks around, trying to see anything to confirm his feelings.

"Well, the majority of the hotels along the Strip are taken up. Just look for the Vacancy sings hanging in the windows. Most of them have had the lower floors reinforced to accommodate larger individuals. We use the hotels along the outer edges of the city for the Aberrants who aren't as mentally together. When they're cured, they're allowed to relocate."
