Well... You get a bunch of people who cosplay. You orginize it and assigne people a 'piece' to be. Then you have 2 people control the pieces and... play chess.
The pieces roleplay their characters when they 'take' another piece. Battle for the square(though following the rules of chess. There are usually 2 "actions" per piece. The one attacking goes first and 'flubs' or is blocked by the one getting taken. Then the second attack works.)
The best I heard about was the first one where the Heero piece defeated the 'Duo' piece and the battle was ended by Heero grabbing Duo, tossing him over his shoulder, and stomping off to the boy's bathroom with him. *Chuckles*
I signed up to do the one at Harvard tomarr... today. *sigh* I found out what piece I am to be and am now almost sorry I agreed to do it. Apparently the Anime Network is planning on doing pictures and filming it to use for stuff, along with some other things. gonk crying

Jon: Hehe... I can see that. Ah me... Are you looking forward to the new Punisher game coming out? I haven't heard much about it in our store, but I've seen demos floating around and talk of a shirt if one preorders it or something. *shrugs*

Kotori Ky Jon: Hehe... I can see that. Ah me... Are you looking forward to the new Punisher game coming out? I haven't heard much about it in our store, but I've seen demos floating around and talk of a shirt if one preorders it or something. *shrugs* I am, I've not heard a lot about it beyond "it's a game, about the punisher... it's like the comics" but hey, if there's a shirt involved sign me up. Espcially if it's a cool shirt. What store do you work for? Is it a chain?

^_^ I work for Gamestop, dear. Tis one of the largest video game store-chains in the US.
Well, I've HEARD about the shirt but haven't seen it in our store yet. But it IS awhile off yet from the game and so on.
I want to find out when I get my free Collector's Edition copy of EverQuest 2 and my free Life-Time subscription.
Did I mention I love my store. eek sweatdrop

Haru Mania umm i already approved him.. Saint asked me like two days ago if it were okay if Rictus became his aid.. i told him it was fine and thought he would inform you of the dealings... anywho yea... umm Rictus is a member of the support team 3nodding Then people should tell me directly.
