after aira had slipped off to sleep, phoenix took an astral form and went seraching. she needed to find malkin and talk to him.

Lawrence walked downstairs headphones still blasting music.He went into the kitchen and opened the fridge.He grabbed whatever was edible and place it on the counter and began eating.

Trace had looked through a small clearing through the trees and saw 'rence climb off the roof. Still swirling the small pond with his finger he wondered, "Are these really the people I was sent to by sai and mac? They don't seem to have everything all together..." he said aloud quietly. "No... Isaiah(spell check >.<) wouldn't have lied to me. And Mac's not that cruel to me either..." he added quietly as well.

phoenix flew high in the night skies. she realized now that she'd made a mistake and had to fix it. she just hoped she wasn't too late.....

Emerging from my dark thoughts and memories I realize I'm hungry. I head down to the lobby and ask the desk person about any good diners. They point me to Denny's. I head out with my arms behind my head thinking.

spotting mal down below, phoenix swooped down and landed in a nearby tree. "malkin, i need to talk to you."

I walk past the tree having not heard. I pause after a second. "What?" I ask, half to myself, half to no-one.

phoenix shook her head. "before she can complete the sacrifice, or whatever, we're going to fuse. basically, she'll gain my powers and i'll cease to be. for a short moment after that, she'll be vulnerable. that's your chance to stun her and get her out of danger."
