Ash jumped up and grabbed the phone before it could land in the fire. "You would have made me pay for that." Ash kept the phone away from Kat in case of anymore outbursts. "Who tried to call you?"

"What the hell Kat?" Sarah stared at Kat with wide eyes. "I wanted some kind of dirt so that I could make fun of Ash forever." She scowled at the look on her face. "Geez. Ash," She turned to the addressed person. "calm her down. I don't feel like giving her therapy today."

Kat frowned a bit, "...Michelle and Andrew's grandparents...want them" she mumbled before attempting to get her phone back from Ash. "I got a call from the police the other day and they were calling to let me know some more info...I didn't expect them to call me this soon and it can only mean they'll be taking them from us.." She took a seat in the couch beside the fireplace.

Sarah sighed and sat down next to Kat. "Kat, hon, you knew that this was bound to happen. It's not like you're related to them by blood. If they were wards of the state we could fight this, but if they were just staying with you until they found family. And we were all, yes all of us, Ash." She snapped, glaring at Ash when he tried to show that he wasn't doing anything. "We were all hoping that there was no family."
((Wait, since when do hotels have fireplaces?))

Kat frowned a bit more "I know but..." she sat up and stared at the ceiling hoping that it would have some kind of answer. "...I don't even wanna talk about it anymore..." she headed to her room.

Ash followed Kat into her room, closing the door behind them. "You know you wanna talk about it." He wrapped his arm around Kat, sitting with her on the bed. "It'll make you feel better and you know it."

"I don't know why it bugs me so much.." she looked down at her feet to avoid making eye contact with him "maybe I'm just too attached..." she shrugged a bit and smiled "maybe I just need a puppy.." She hoped if she saw him smile he'd believe she was ok and leave her alone for a bit to think it all out but at the same time she didn't want him to leave.emotions are all messed up...she thought to herself a small frown crossing her face but quickly disappearing so she could keep up her act.

Sarah leaned back on the couch, covering her eyes with her hands. "My God, this is way too ******** up." She took a few deep breaths and waited for the slight headache that she had developed during her little lecture to go away. "We really need an emotional scapegoat."
((Woah. It keeps saying that you've posted after me, Kat but I keep clicking and it just shows my post.))

Ash brushed his hand across Kat's hair lightly, "You know lying doesn't do you any good. Just more burdens to bear." He smiled, using one hand to lift up her chin and kiss her lightly. "It'd be alot easier on you if you'd just talk to me."

"it'd be easier if I knew what I wanted to say...if that makes any sense at all..." she muttered before shaking her head and standing up to walk out into the room with Sarah again. She sat in front of the fireplace ((hehe)) and stared at the flames a bit while tying her hair into small braids, something she did while she was upset.

Sarah sighed and reached to smack Kat's hands away. "You're gonna tear up your hair, hon." She grabbed a hair brush and started brushing the knots left from the braids out of Kat's hair. "You knew that all of this was bound to happen, dear."

She winced when Sarah tugged too hard at a knot "then...why does it bug me so much?"

"Sorry." Sarah apologized after Kat winced. "I think it might be because you wanted to have kids. Kind of like how it doesn't affect me as much because I don't want kids. Mind you, I am going to miss the little brats, but they need to be with their family, and besides, we don't have a stable life here. Hell, we're all still on tour right now. The last thing they need is to be up and traveling every three days." She finished brushing Kat's hair, and tucked it behind her ears. "Trust me. This is best for them."

Ash sighed a bit as he laid in Kat's bed, overhearing what the two were saying to eachother. "She wants kids..well ********." He covered his face in his hands and brushed his hair back. "I can't be a father..." He questioned to himself whether or not he could ever actually be with Kat. He knew he wanted to, but things would obviously come between them. "Aghhhhh.." He said to himself as he rolled over and closed his eyes, waiting for himself to fall asleep.
