"Probably... Should we eat with them perhaps, or go by ourselves? And I doubt Raen will come down here for a while, she doesn't want to hear anything." She added as she walked down behind her, knowing no one else would overhear her.

"They look lonely, let's go sit with them." Syanthe pulled on the cheeriest smile she could to show that she earnestly wanted to go past the days ominous aire.

Ako slid her hands to her neck, a habit she was used to doing when she was in deep thought, or settling into it. When she realized that there was nothing to grasp, she gulped and dropped her hands uselessly at her sides.

Zyriaut went over to them, before asking, "Do you mind if we sit with you?" quietly.

Forgetting her worries, Ako looked up and smiled while scooting further into the booth, "Go ahead, there's plenty of room!"

"Sure, let me out first so I can go get the food, do any of you want anything?"

Ako popped in and said wearily "Bring back something that'll keep me awake."

Syanthe nodded to agree with Ako, "That'll be good, bring me one too."

"Please, and thanks." she said as he got up and she sat down beside Ako. "We can take Raen something later, she'll probably stay in the rooms." she muttered to Syanthe, not wanting the faerie to starve.

Father Michael bowed slightly, his arm folded before him as if to acknowledge them all before leaving. He drifted elegantly to the bar and waited for a clerk to come. He ordered 3 caffeinated hot chocolates, and one decaf. The clerk muttered something about sending a waitress over in a bit. Father Michael waited patiently to hand the money over.

Syanthe nodded and smiled, still not knowing much about Ako she tried to strike up a conversation, "So, where are you from?"

Ako smiled, a sadness tinting her eyes as they seemed to block out the dim light from the candled light above them. "I really don't remember much about who I am or where I come from. Father Michael says that he found me, so I accepted the fact that he's my dad and that my home is where ever he is, Ako stopped at this, her smile disappeared for a moment before a reappearing, "It's all good though, Father Michael takes very good care of me!"

"Hmm, I wonder... Say something if you start to get a headache." Zyriaut said suddenly, setting her hand on Ako's so she had a better connection, or a more direct path into her mind. She searched it, trying not to invade and looking for a 'locked door'. She saw something, and 'ran' to it, but it stayed away, no matter how hard she 'ran', or probed towards it. She didn't realize what this was probably doing to Ako, or what she was doing to herself as her eyes closed and she frowned slightly, annoyed that she couldn't get to the 'door.'

Ako bit her lip as she felt a slight tug in her mind, she tense up and then slowly began to relax when a sudden sharp pain went through her head and spread through the rest of her body, she tugged her hand away suddenly and let out a soft yelp.

Father Michael came back just in time to see Ako pull away and yelp. "What happened?" He said it casually but as he got into his seat he gave a suspicious glance to Zyriaut.

Syanthe didn't pay much attention, but instead focused her thoughts on the waitress that was bringing their drinks in steaming mugs that spilled over with a white frothy coating.

She snapped out of it, wincing as her mind was jerked from Ako's. "I'm sorry, I've never seen anything like that before... There's a part of your mind that's blocked off, I can't get to it. The closer I go to it, the more it moves away. The only way that could happen is if someone had done something to you and 'locked' that part of your memory." she explained appologetically, confused.

Father Michael did not speak up but allowed the worry spread onto his facial features. He had been wondering if something had been locked from her memory, and was now positive that that was the case.

Ako frowned and pouted her lip out. She looked up cheerily as the waitress gave them their drinks. She fingered the handle and began to speak more lightly, "I'm sure I'll remember one day, I can't believe that I'll go my whole life not remember-," Ako was cut off by a voice that spoke loudly in her mind, she hoped that Zyriaut's mind would not pick up the words, You already know. Just try to be more open. Ako bit her lip, hoping she hadn't said it aloud.

Syanthe gave Zyriaut a worried glance after seeing the pain that seemed to dance across Ako's eyes.

She did hear, but gave no indencation. Syanthe, she's hearing voices... It's from within her own mind though. she told her sister quietly, knowing she shouldn't try speaking when she had already pushed herself somewhat.

Ako twitched slightly as the voice whispered soothingly and demandingly, Just drink, don't worry about anything else for now. Ako obeyed, fingering her drink and bringing it to her mouth. Now, talk to them, bring up a subject. Ako replied by saying aloud, but with little emotion, "So, where have you and Zyraiut traveled from," she asked her eyes staring at the table in front of Syanthe.

Father Michael was watching Ako out of the corner of his eye as he turned his head toward Syanthe.

Syanthe said slowly, "We've been traveling for a while, my sister and I. We've been trying to find someone."

She didn't add anything, pretending to be interested in the swirling steam that rose from the cup, making it create patterns in the air as she had a tendancy to do. She was closly attuned to Ako at the moment, but wasn't in her mind enough to be noticed by the voice.

Syanthe looked over to Ako, her eyes now pleading.

Taken aback by the stare Ako let her voice speak, "I think I have an alter ego..." Her voice was foreign even to herself and she could feel something in her throat as she said this, like it was a disgusting topic. Suddenly another voice spoke. "Heh, it's funny really." Ako brought her hands up to her mouth, realizing that that was the other woman that spoke to her. She shook her head, not wanting to speak in fear that the other woman would speak, she only wanted her actions to prove that she hadn't said that last remark.

Father Michael looked up sharply and stared at Ako, concerned, "Is the drink too hot?"

"It's only mine that's hot enough, and that's my own fault." Zyriaut interjected, then looked to Ako. Let her, I don't think she means any harm. I might be able to stop her if I must. she said mentally, hoping Ako would recognize the voice as her own and not as some other stranger.
