Saro sighed and gave a shrill whistle, managing to get most their attention as she glared at them. As most of them knew her, or more likely, her family, they quieted down and got somewhat more organized. Now, most of them were at the tables or the bar, several waiting in that general area to get drinks.
Andy came back to the bar. "That took ya longer than I though it would." he said with a grin.
"God, I swear I'll kick you out myself. Go away, come back when I'm not as busy." she said with a glare.
"Fine, whatever you say, Ma'am." he said teasingly, going back to where he had been.
"I can handle the drinks, you two get food." Saro told the two girls.

"Oh god, thanks Saro." Marin said, narrowly avoiding a really old, drunk mans hand. She smacked it and went into the kitchen to make some burgers or whatever.

Rrazpe stayed where he was, and kept a menacing look to himself to keep people off of Saro. This was enough to deter most people who didn't care about who she or her family was, not to mention those who did.

Barely noticed, a large dark bird landed upon the roof of Creature inn. It had black glossy feathers and a matching onyx beak. Strange eyes that were not the customary black of a bird but the lighter shade of darkness found in a humans eyes. The bird was an especially large specimen, nearly the size of a badger on its hind legs...almost the size of an eagle. Though without a doubt it was a Raven. Hopping along the roof as birds tend to do, it flapped down and landed on a sill, seeming to lean against the woodwork for support.

Upon closer examination this bird would appear under the weather so to speak. Each breath was rasping and its feathers were ruffled. One wing was awkwardly bent, as if recently healed the wrong way...making flying possible...but exruciating to endure.

The creature's dark eyes drank in what lay within the inn as it wobbled like an ungainly newborn ((the size of an eagle)) upon the sill.

The Raven was quick to notice the large overflowing of men within the bar, many traders...all dressed in outlandish garb. What had happened? One moment he had been flying and the next, after a nice encounter with a lightning strike, found himself rudely pushed out of one world and into another.

What he had seen in the three days since he had been here was enough to convince him this was almost straight out of a storybook...a place for someone like him.

He had also seen a dark reminder that his arch enemy apparently knew how to realm switch as well...as he had seen the monster's sigals painted upon abandoned buildings on his flight. This may have been why the raven had been unable to track his enemy for many years.

Though now he was in this strange place...was harried just a day earlier by small DRAGONS and knew that without finding some place to rest...or someone to explain this world...he would inevitably perish here.

((umm, they probably wouldn't have burgers.... and they haven't exactly been here for them all to be drunk... Sorry, I'm not trying to get you to change your post, but just so ya know....))

She glanced to the window, then looked back again as she saw a unnaturally large raven. She gave a slight motion with her head for it to come in, she didn't mind. She finally managed to get most the drinks mixed, all that remained was to pour the mugs of-"What the-.." she moaned as sharp pain shot through her hand. She had reached under the counter for one of the mugs, an area she had searched thoroughly earlier for broken things. Apparently, one of them had cracked and her touch had been enough to shatter it, sending the shards into her hand. She grimaced as she looked at it, and slipped into the kitchen. "Marin, I need you to handle the bar, and be careful of glass on the shelves in the bar itself!" she said quickly as she slipped to a sink where blood wouldn't drip on the floor. "And could you grab a first aid kit or a pair of tweezers?" she asked softer, smiling apologetically.

If the Raven could raise an eyebrow it would. Birds were not invited in to a restaraunt in his reality but apparently it was different here.

With an ungainly hop and a fluttering of pained wings, the bird landed upon a table. It strutted across the wood, cocking its head at those who gave it odd looks...ah well it was a welcome sight at least...his reality or not...birds randomly dropping in as a customer was still reguarded as strange.

From its perch on the table, the bird fluttered to the bar, fixing each patron with an imperious glare before turning and preening its ruffled feathers.

She heard the bird enter, or at least the response it got from someone. She shifted to a raven long enough to call, "Come into the kitchen!" loudly enough that it would hear before changing back, running a small trickle of cold water on her hand afterwards.

Oddly enough, the Raven entered, a bit wary of those that would call to birds and feeling a bit foolish that he would obey. There he stood in front of her, dark head cocked up at her and eyes gleaming coldly. It cawed out once, as much of a gesture of thanks as it could muster in such circumstances and then waited for her response.

"Are you a shifter, or a Were?" she asked curiously, gently easing the larger fragments of glass from her hand. "You're too big to be a normal bird, and most wouldn't have come into the Inn." she explained.

The raven paused a moment and considered...it would takea great deal of energy to resme his form...bt in teh circmstances perhaps it was best.

The raven hopped backward, spreading both wings out to his sides as though making himself as big as possible. A strange whispering echoed throughout the kitchen as the Raven swelled larger, now about the height of a ten year old and still swelling. In a sudden movement, it folded its wings around itself and tucked its head beneath the feathers. The last shot of height came then and a whirlwind of feathers danced around teh figure as the whispers intensified. The feathers drew up into shoulder and sides of the cape and out of that came a human looking no more then eighteen with dark tired eyes, redish skin, a crooked nose and long black hair that flee upon his face limply.

"I...apologize...for taking...your time." Jimmy Crow managed to gasp out and as exhaustion took him he fell to one knee.

"Such a change is tiring...and...I have been...without...rest lately."

"It's fine, don't exaust yourself any more than you must. And I'll help you as soon as I can..." she said with a faint smile as she glanced back to her hand. She looked back to him while waiting for Marin, studying him almost. "You're not from anywhere like this, are you? I mean, you don't ewxactly look like you fit in anywhere here, no offense meant by that by the way." she added hastily, hoping she hadn't offended him by her comment.

Hinoa didn't like food duty. She glared murderously at the kitchen knives and her handiwork with the food was rather haphazard and vicious. "Mizz Saro," she began grumpily as she mutilated yet another hunk of meat, "I don't know how to cook!"

Ikaran had had enough rest to go on for a little while longer. He heard a large amount of noise from downstairs, and decided to investigate. He 'hid his light' and went downstairs, and after a moment of the scene he went into the kitchen, wondering what was there.
He watched the raven turn into a person, and then went over in the corner and 'revealed his light'. "I hope you don't mind my presence here," he said in a calm-enough voice. "It's a bit...crowded in the other room."

(('hid his light'-became intangible and invisible. 'revealed his light'-returned to a physical state of being.
Ikaran's an angel, as explicitly stated in his profile))
