"I dont remember her asking me Touya." he said as he threw the ball at a basket and it made a swish. "To be honest, I'm not even going to this dance. I just decided to help out. I have no intention of going." he said as he turned back to Sachi.
((Yeah I know. I got it from an anime. You know how when people plot a person accidently hits them. I thought it would be funny.))

Sachi clapped her hands together, happy for the couple. Rolling her eyes slightly, she patted Alice on the head. "Jun only wants the best for you!" Her head jerked towards Touya and Tori, hearing the words "fine". Her mouth dropped open, though she quickly regained her composure when Kiyoshi arrived.
"Um..." Truthfully, she hadn't seen the lights yet. Turning around, she nodded gratefully to the boy. "Thanks a lot! It looks great..." Her eyes caught the bow and weapons as she shook her head in disbelief. "Did anyone get hurt??" Seeing the bow reminded her of Mimi, whom she thought to have disappeared.

"Yeah well if you gave a damn you would have noticed she was pretty close to asking you," Touya responded cooly. He understood full well that Tori would have asked anyone to get out of going with him. And he assumed that Kiyoshi had grown protective of the lavender haired girl. Turning away from the group Touya started for the door. "Thank God I'm not that blind when it comes to peoples' feelings," he muttered as he left the gymnasium, his friend trailing behind quickly.

"It doesn't matter to me. I don't bother with my emotions or those of others." he said as he watched them open the door to leave. Kiyoshi felt the ball tap his foot he kicked it up and kicked it towards Touya and his friends. He hoped to hit Touya or his friend.

Sachi shook her head, knowing what Kiyoshi said wasn't true. He cared about Tori, whcih was pretty cute if she said so herself. "Kiyoshi, why don't you asl Tori to the dance? She still might choose you over him," she nodded as if to agree with her own statement. And she did. Who would choose Touya over Kiyoshi? Of course, she had known Kiyoshi longer than the guy who asked Tori out, but the latter had given her a bad first impression.

"I'm not going to this dance that's why. Why am I going to ask someone to the dance if I'm not going to go?" he asked her as he watched the ball miss both Touya and his friend completly. He knew it would be safe to protect Tori, but she said she could take care of herself.

Sighing, she brushed her hair out of her eyes. "If you say so, Kiyoshi." The gymnasium was pretty much finished by now, and people were just cleaning up and setting up the tables or bringing in some of the refreshments. "It's pretty obvious what you feel for Tori." A small smile played on her lips as she hung up signs, directing people where to pay for last minute tickets or where to turn in your ticket.

Kiyoshi walked out of the gym and walked towards the bleachers outside. He went underone and layed down on the grass. He stared up at the sky, which was just starting to turn orange. He knew that in a few hours it would be night again and then the dance would start. He thought about what he wanted to do.

Tori paced around her room, wondering if she should just skip the dance all together. She had wanted to go so badly; that was the main reason she even bothered to help out with the preparations. It was the first dance of the new school year and it was a huge deal for most of the students. With a sigh, Tori flung herself onto her bed and closed ehr eyes.
Danu let out a meow and jumped up beside her owner. The orange feline wanted nothing more than to comfort her mistress. It was the cat's chief responsibility and it was one she took seriously.
"Danu, why do guys have to be so infuriating? I should have just said I was going to go with some of the girls! Maybe it's not too late to see if I can go along with Sachi..?" the lavender haired teen complained to her furry companion. She could not go with her own group of friends; they had had dates lined up for weeks. Tori, on the other hand, had neglected looking for a date. She had just assumed every guy on campus would ask her like they had the previous year.
Tori had been wrong about that. The only person who had asked her was Touya. She did have her suspicions, of course, but she had spoke nothing of them in his presence. "What do you think I should do Danu?"

Kiyoshi stayed under the bleachers closing his eyes slowly and thinking about what he should do, but at the same time sleeping. He knew he should protect Tori, but she did say that she could take care of herself. Kiyoshi decided to leave it at that and be done with it.

Sachi breathed a sigh of relief, finally satisfied with the work she had done. "Now...chocolate..." She reached into a bag sitting in the corner and took out a chocolate bar, happily munching on it. The female headed down the hallway, out of the gymnasium, and towards the dorms.

Kiyoshi sat up and looked at the school. He knew that this was his last year, but he didn't want to do anything that was special for him to remember it. He knew that he didn't want to go to the dance, but a small part of him did.

In the mist of all this talk-age, Jun and Alice had gone outside to the garden and sat together talking about various things. Communication was important in a relationship, and they had plenty of it. They talked about just about everything, constantly jumping from one subject to another. And finally to the subject of the dance: what to wear, what shall they eat for dinner? Should it be something special? And they decided that it should, since this would be like their first real date date type of situation.
