Trace raised an eyebrow. "Wait a minute. Isn't Riuko in that black rose?" he asked, gesturing at it. "Can't you just leave it here, let him slaughter whatever he finds here? The stuff here is bad enough to keep him happy," he said, shrugging.

Mike sighed. "As you saw earlier, I can't always stopp him from escaping." He sighed and looked at the rose. "It will happen very soon."

Joslyn nodded. She was extremely used to them going back and forth to Trace's World. It didn't bother her at all when they disappeared through the floor. Joslyn just hoped that the teacher wouldn't notice. She relaized her and Alexx were alone, besides Mel and (forgot your name), but besides them, it was just her and Alexx. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat, then slouched down even further into her seat, avoiding eye contact with Alexx.....

Trace nodded. "Okay. Here's an idea: Let me fight him." He paused for a moment, to let the idea sink in. "I've fought him before, if you recall. And I won. I can win again... But it could be dangerous for you, if he doesn't leave your body." He nodded, and continued. "I won't kill him, just wear him down until he can't kill anyone else. Come on, that's a lot better than just chaining you up. In the real world, you'll almost definitely break free. And here? If I left you here chained to a wall, something would come along and have you for a tasty snack," he said, frowning.

Mike shook his head. "He is to closley linked to me, fighting him could kill me, and then he would be tottaly free. If you don't recall, I'm more fragile than him." He sighed. "I don't mean litterally chain up, I need you to close the door between here and our world, and leave me in here for a week, then It will be safe."

"Well no matter what it takes Trace, I need you to do this, its the only way." He frowned and sat down. "He will escape from any other type of imprisonment."

"Alright... Just remember, whatever happens to you in here... It's going to be immeasurably worse for me out there." He said, and he put his hand on Mike's shoulder. He closed his eyes, and focused for a moment. Seemingly nothing happened, but when he opened his eyes, he looked directly into Mike's. It's done... But the only way I could do it was to make you part of my mind, he thought, because that was the only way Mike could hear him anymore. Whatever happens to you in here... It's going to happen to me physically out there. So please, try not to die... Okay? he thought, still looking at Mike very seriously.

Joslyn grew slightly worried at the long time they were down there. She bit her lip. No, no. They're fine. I hope...

Mike shrugged. "Riuko won't even possibly get hurt." he smiled and frowned. "He will destroy anything that comes across his path." He frowned. "You won't get hurt."

Trace smiled. I didn't say whatever happens to Riuko will happen to me, did I? he asked, and patted Mike's shoulder again. Don't try to stop him. It'll only get you killed, which will get me killed. He grinned again, and stepped back. Have fun! he thought, and with that, he fell through the floor, disappearing.
Trace popped up out of the ground next to Joslyn, and almost immediately felt the pain shoot through his head, as the blackness of being blind was replaced with the burning white of a migraine. He stumbled to his knees, and fell over, blood dripping out of his nose. "It's... Fine," he said, getting back up. "Nothing. Just something I... Something I had to do. Took a bit out of me," he muttered, slumping in the chair.

She eyed him suspiciously. "Alright...everything okay with Mike now?" She asked straightening up.

Mike felt Trace get hurt and suddenly streamed energy to Trace healing him partually. He suddenly transformed into Riuko with giant spikes in his back. He had claws growing out of his hands and suddenly had fangs. He growled and ate a small critter that came across his path.

"Mike's... Going to be in there... A while," Trace managed, leaning over and putting his head in his hands. Mike, if you just being there is this painful... I'm not looking forward to when Riuko decides to take over and kills stuff... Or worse, tries to escape, he thought, worriedly. "But... It's all... Taken care of..." he said, then as a silent afterthought; For now...

She frowned. "Alright..." She thought about Alexx and her sudden decision to come back to Aurora High. "Trace, something's just not right here. Alexx couldn't have just suddenly decide to come back. She's up to something, and I feel like something bad is going to happen." She shook her head, staring at the Arena floor.....
