The wingweaver continued her counter attacks , keeping an eye on the phantasmal figure of Tau as he went on ahead to seek out the source Mural. When his voice came over the link between them, the weaver felt a sense of finality. It was finally time to see the face of their true enemy, the dark force which had pulled them together under these dark circumstances.
“ Follow me! Tau’s found it!” she called in response to Rix, her wings extended from her back it’s 3 fragmented pairs and taking to the air. She stretched them wide and proud for all it was worth. In this place of the heart where ones true self was exposed like a wound torn open, there was nothing and no need to hide what she was from those she held dear.
When Dorinda used Sin she looked concerned. In this place it was uncertain how her powers would effect her… from the looks of it, it seemed far more dangerous then was actually worth it.
“I understand- but please.. be careful, hurry it’s over here Tau says.” She took to the air with her blade in hand.
Gliding over the heartless, she flew towards Tau’s figure that stood before a smaller mural disk. Slicing throw another Neoshadow she landed upon the surface of an adjacent mural looking down at the design of the blackened figure etched into the cold stained glass.
This was the world beyond the veil of the flesh, and yet how cold she felt being so close to it. She felt as though the cold could have crept into her skin.
The battle was raging harder behind them, Sin, Cat, Syric, Isabel, Alice, Rix, her beloved, Maki and Dorinda fought on, and when Thrais approached the epicenter she felt it. The stirring. Like rousing an animal, you knew exactly when it sensed you nearby and you found out little too late just how dangerous it was.
Cue: End of the World
She had only a moment to look at Tau before the most ungodly shriek erupted from the mural. It was so powerful and it shook everything around it to violently the glass should have shattered into thousands of pieces. But it did not, at least… not any of the others. The mural it’s cracked and large fissures grew in a cancerous spiderweb from it, that lifted off in shadowy tendrils that took solid form!
The weaver backed off as a plume of darkness rose up through the image of the blackened form and it took seemed to peel itself off the mural’s surface and rise. The glass continued to crack and fragment as the darkness gathered and grew. It shot towards the distant surface above them, limbs and tendrils growing with explosive force. A miasma rose up from its form, and any who breathed it in would feel like their very hearts were being frozen over with a chill so great it burned!
DarkSide Heartless
It..it looked like a tree! A huge black tree, and from its trunk sprung another form fused into it. Like some kind of driad from your nightmares! It was a Darkside! A four armed Darkside! It’s arms much longer and splitting at the wrists like they were branches.
It loomed over them at least 3 times bigger than a regular kind. From the tree’s roots sprung Neoshadows and attacked while the dark side itself began its basic assault scooping up its hands and creating orbs of darkness that rained down from above like an acid rain!
