Riding on a train with the eternal fear of being chikan'ed is NOT COOL.

i know nothing. Riding on a train with the eternal fear of being chikan'ed is NOT COOL. That's why you should get together a group of foreigners and entrap them...make them pay you to keep quiet to the satsu about their chikan-ery.

I love you. I love riding the subway and coughing like I'm about to die. Really freaks people out.

Well, I don't suppose anyone has or knows where to get some X-Japan bass tabs? Google yields nothing but crap.

You see.... Japan is sneaky. The expo isnt really in Nagoya but Nagakute Town and Seto. Its a pain in the a** to get there from Nagoya city. I live in Toyota which is closer to the Nagakute grounds than Nagoya itself.
I haven't gone yet, but I will probably go sometime during Golden Week (in other words, SOON). Its rather expensive and anything of real worth that you can see there is generally aired on evening television. Almost defeats the purpose of going there. Furthermore, the totoro house has been booked for god-knows-how-many months in advance, so basically i have no chance to sneak a glimpse back into what an early showa era house would look like. 残念
A single day pass is something like 4000yen +, and until only recently, they wouldnt let ANYONE bring in food or drink from outside. But that caused a problem and the eventually changed the rules. It would have been causing serious problems earlier this week had it not been changed since Nagoya was experiencing record setting heat for April (it hit 30C this week. )
All expo related merchandise is murderously expensive, but I really ought to buy some of it as souvenirs for family and friends back in the states.
One bad result of the expo is that .... there are so many dumb, obnoxious foreigners clogging up downtown Nagoya that it just pisses me off. I happened to enjoy not seeing too many of "my kind". The people that come here only help further the stupid, insensitive image of white people that most Japanese here seem to hold. Brings out the angry greatly. I try to ignore them, but they are now EVERYWHERE. gonk
I sound so bitter. crying

*nods* Yeah, but, I cheated, I just caught the bus down from Nagoya xd .
I thought it was cool. Maybe I'm just a geek but some of the Country pavillions were really neat. ((America's was..Weird. It was the only country I went to that searched your bags before you went inside xd )) I never got a chance to see any of the cool stuff, like the giant mammoth or anything neutral . The place is just too huge to see everything in one day. ((Not to mention the HUGE lines that went with the major 'attractions' ))
Murderously expensive, yes. I think the worst part is trying to get into the store and actually move in it. So..Packed gonk
There were a lot of foreigners in Nagoya, including me xd . The foreigners I saw weren't too bad, though...Except for some ^^;. And you know, most weren't obnoxious, just...stupid >.>. I'm sorry, but someone looked so amazed by a vending machine xd
xd

I'm really not cool with the going during golden week-- since that spells out disaster. I've been watching the expo update that one of the regional TV stations puts out and the lines are about 3x worse than they were earlier. gonk
I am going to DIE.
