"Of course... the answer lies in more nightmares." Shinji let out a sigh of annoyance from the scenes around him. He had hoped that this type of thing would be the farthest from the means of which to gain control over the vines. He cringed as a child's scream echoed through his mind. Chaos was taking this training very seriously.

The cloth techniques he usually relied on didn't work in this warped illusion, and he could feel his left arm begin to squirm as well in response to the vines around his legs. Simply convincing the vines to do what he wanted wouldn't work in this situation. He was going to need to gain full control, or he would easily "die".

"I have no idea what I'm doing right now... But here goes." Shinji pumped large amounts of chakra into the vines. Either they'd grow uncontrollably, or it would be taken as a sort of bribe. If that began to look dicey, he could quickly mold as much of that pumped chakra into a way to forcefully manipulate the vines. Either way was a shot in the dark for the Jounin, but it was better than being eaten by a plant.

"Begging?"Shinji winced as vines began to tighten around his lower abdomen. He hadn't exactly thought of that method as 'begging' but more of a pact. It started to make him slightly angry that he was mis-interpretted to such a degree. "That's not..." His thought was interrupted by an increase of pain to his legs. The pressure of the situation made his thoughts tense and harsh. As a result, Shinji's chakra began to give off signs of murderous intent. "Get the hell off..." Shinji spoke through clenched teeth. He moved his hands down to the vines, squeezing them and pulling them away from his body. The harder he pulled, the more murderous intent leaked into his chakra.

Shinji Shut his eyes, then opened them in a drawn out blink. "Then what? What IS strong anyways?" He riddled the heads, gaining knowledge of what Chaos considered strength, as well as delving further into this training illusion. Anger lingered in his voice, keeping his tone rather loud.

"And this... is the result if I fail..." Shinji muttered quietly. He clenched his teeth again, not in pain, but in anger towards the vines. Even if the vines were only capable of part of the damage that was caused in the scene before him, the image would never go away... This would bind him to the thoughts of total control over the vines, never letting them in control. "I won't falter..." not even for an instant. Shinji's fists tightened.

All of this was to apparently temper a hatred towards part of his body. From the looks of things, Chaos was going to play with Shinji's emotions until there were enough solid controlling connections between Shinji and the vines. The ninja subject to this tempering could not grasp this at the moment though. He was too caught up in the emotional extremes going about in his head.

That was Shinji's breaking point. He acted inside the illusion. With his blood to a boil and a very angry air to him, he moved his left arm to the side, then lashed it forward. "Kill him!" He screamed. He tried to send the demon vines after the illusion, but it was likely no good. His actions were likely restricted to allow the entire illusion to run it's course without any meaningless interruptions.

Teaars welled up in the corners of Shinji's eyes. Emotional weakness wasn't a pretty sight, but Shinobi only resisted their emotions. Shinji had completely opened himself to these effects, allowing the tempering to even take place. It took a lot of willpower to not simply leave the illusion with a cancelation.

With his emotions still opened to be toyed with, there was nothing Shinji could do to resist the taunts. His left arm became covered in bramble thorns, then he rushed the Copy that mocked him. A single large bramble extended from his palm, almost three feet in length, dripping with Demonvine toxins. "I heard you the first time, now disapear!" He shut his eyes as he thrust his palm forward, almost half assed in his effort. His eyes remained shut to try to shield himself from further emotional assault. He slowly fell to his knees to cry off what had just happened. They weren't loud, full blown sobs, just the dripping of tears and heavy frequent breathing of someone under way too much stress.

It was difficult to get his footing at the moment, but he stood, bringing his right foot under his body and raising his knee, then pushing himself up from that with his right hand. He clenched his teeth and pinched the bridge of his nose, regaining his composure. The squirming in his left arm had completely stopped.

Chaos's words bounced around in his head with the images he had been shown. A suprised look took his face at the final comment that was left with him. He didn't expect that right now... He stood there for several moments, then turned and started to walk away. He didn't want to head home, not righ now...
