Despite Selene’s tender pleadings, Michael’s transformation continued to gain speed, his skin darkening with bristling fur in unison to the cracking growth of bone and connecting muscle. The man’s vision blurred between the coloured spectrum of a human and the monochromatic visions of his internal beast, serving to further spur the anger driving the alteration. Attempts at speech soon dissolved into guttural growls as Michael’s vocal cords changed; howls of indiscernible meaning echoing ominously around the dens interior as the hybrid’s transformation reached its completion.

Stumbling backwards as the transformation progressed unhindered, Selene’s expression openly reflected her burgeoning fear of the creature standing in her midst; a being that no longer possessed steady impulse control or the ability to distinguish friend from foe. “Michael...?” the vampire queried, taking another cautionary step backwards.

Upon hearing her voice, one that struck a chord of vague familiarity, the hybrid leisurely opened his eyelids, revealing the inky blackness of the orbs within. Lips instinctively rose and thinned, baring the creature’s sharpened teeth in a silent snarl; firmly revealing that no vestiges of the usually calm and collected Michael remained within the transformed monstrosity. At its side, the hybrid’s clawed hands flexed and taut bones snapped threateningly, the action occurring a split second before the beast lunged with blinding speed toward Selene.

Michael’s sudden movement appeared as a mere blur to Selene’s eyes, catching the vampiress of guard as a furred hand encircled her throat and lifted her cleanly off the ground. Momentarily stunned by the rapid shifting of events, the vampiress forced her sluggish mind into action; the organ prompting Selene’s hands to cling tightly to the hybrid’s wrists as she kicked both feet violently against the creature’s chest in attempts to propel herself loose.

Howling with fury in response to Selene’s impudent action, Michael brutally hurled the vampiress across the room and into the opposite wall, tossing furniture at the rooms other occupants as he charged toward the door and the commotion resonating down the corridor.

Lingering shards of plaster and fragments of concrete rained down on Selene as she hit the wall and crumpled to the ground, the impact having easily broken several ribs and dislocated her left knee both major joints in the matching arm. Deep claw impression marred her throat, causing blood to flow freely in hasty rivulets down her pallid flesh. Innumerable cuts and grazes crisscrossed her countenance and ran across the petite frame hidden beneath dusty death dealer garbs, the minor injuries likely to be bordered by a flourish of brightly coloured bruises given time.

The hate and anger emanating from Jason and the unknown marine rippled delightfully across the hybrid’s skin, causing his stubby fur to stand to attention. Soon tiring of basking in the torrid of dark emotion, Michael growled menacingly and stalked forward; the recesses of his mind recalling his growing dislike of all things military as he displayed his teeth and snarled toward Jason and STORM 74.

((I'll bring Lilith, and Dorian, back in shortly - I just want to let things develop a little more here first ^^))

((XD, Awesome.))

Jason was now on the wrong end of the scuffle, STORM's supierior endurance/strength slowly overtaking him. He took two punches to his jaw without much trouble, and even threw an elbow into the face of his enemy before looking 'up' and seeing Micheal -extremely pissed and looking to kill something- and Selene behind him, wounded. He quickly angled STORM's head up at the crazed Hybrid, the two immeadiatley pulling apart and jumping to their feet. STORM waved two of his men foreward, and the trio rushed the hybrid, tackling him and trying to keep him under control, their teamates rushing to help. Jason himself sprinted past the scuffle, the Medic and Bill in tow. He did a quick survey of her wounds, moving as much of her tattered clothing as he could to check her wounds. He shook his head slighly as the medic knelt next to him, drawing his knife and putting a decent cut in his forearm. He then put the wound to her lips, as the Medic started to stop the bleeding from her throat. "Drink" He said soflty, but loud enough to be heard over the struggle not far behind them.

Jason was afraid for her, all the blood on her wounded body sending memories flying acrost his eyes, flashbacks from battles he had fought, wounded marines that he had held as they died, Civilian bodies he had seen ripped to peices...He snapped back to reality then, his eyes wide with terror that he would have to see more die before him, when he should be the one dead. He looked down at his arm, and her unmoving lips, unwilling or unable to take his blood. He placed the arm partially into her mouth, coaxing her to take his blood. "Selene, please..." he begged, caring, fear, and even love slipping into his voice, his eyes reflecting this, as he glanced back at the scuffle, which had been unexpectedly started by STORM and his men to help Jason.

Amorak got up quickly rushing the hybred, helping the soldiers keep him down. using his strength to keep michael down he tried to get to him " Michael WAKE UP DAMN IT " using all of his strength and wrestling moves that he knows to keep him down as well to protect himself and the others. " MICHAEL LOOK WHAT YOUR DOING TO YOUR FRIENDS !! " he shouted over his growls and roars. "damn ... YOU GUYS BETTER THINK OF SOMETHING FAST! I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER WE CAN HOLD HIM!"

shocked over michael's actions Logos stood stunned as this was the first time he saw a hybred change other then marcus. he shook his head and snapped himself back to the situation. moving quickly he ran into the medical room grabbing a powerful seditive and running back. he lunged onto the hybred and the 2 soldiers taking the needle he stabbed it into michael's leg. granted this caused the hybred to kick sending him flying into a wall. shaking his head he looked up and noticed that he didnt depress the suringe . he yelled and pointed towards the leg of the hybred " HEY THE NEEDLE INJECT THE NEEDLE!!" hopeing that they would get it before he knocked it out.

Storm was nearest the leg, and grasped the Syringe in a guantleted hand, thumbing the syringe into the raging hybrid. "CALM DOWN HYBRID! IT WON"T HELP YOU TO KILL YOUR FIRENDS!!!" He hollared, waving a few more of his men to help hold him down.

Selene’s head swam, her vision shifting in and out of focus, and the sounds of the scuffle occurring around her were muted, voices indistinguishable. Pain was the only thing the vampiress could understand, the only feeling distinguishable amongst the blurred torrent of her emotions. Gingerly, amongst the encroaching darkness, Selene felt the warmth of touch, her chestnut eyes inching open, fighting against the urge to surrender to the blackness, to the agony bombarding her senses. “…Ja…son?” she managed to croak, the action causing a series of raw coughs to rack her damaged frame. Blood, fresh and bright crimson ran down her hand, the substance darkening her pale lips. Evidently, a lung had been punctured.

Closing her eyes and sagging against the wall, vaguely aware of the gentle hands attending to her wounds, Selene’s managed to discern the word ‘drink’ amongst the garbled noise assaulting her, the scent of foreign blood permeating through the familiar tang of her own. “…No…” the vampiress uttered weakly as she turned her head away. She had taken enough from Jason already; she would not take his blood.

Wincing as another wave of pain cascaded over her, Selene’s senses snapped back to her instantly as Jason pressed his arm to her mouth. She didn’t want it, she had already taken to much, yet the sensation of the blood against her skin, the luscious taste it exuded upon her palette, left the deteriorating vampiress unable to rest. Hungrily, Selene seized Jason’s arms, her fangs slicing easily into his arm as she fed.

((Michael's section of the reply will come later ^^))

Jason closed his eyes in pain when she bit into his arm, grimasing for a split second before he was familiar with the pain. He opened his eyes and smiled, even when wounded, Selene was beautiful, as was his wife...He closed his eyes again. "Go try to help STORM's team. He told the medic and Bill, the two men nodding and running to comply, more trying to calm the lycan down than use force to hold him down. They weren't much help in that aspect anyway...

Despite his preparedness, the rushed assault quickly overwhelmed the hybrid, forcing him to the ground amid a flood of furious growls and snarls. Yet, even before Michael collided with the ground, he was struggling, bucking violently against those who held him.

Sane words, those the hybrid would heed under ‘normal’ conditions, were ignored, lost amidst the frantic desire to escape – and ultimately, to destroy.

Continuing to thrash against his bonds, Michael managed to free a clawed hand – hurriedly lashing out against his would-be captors.

Caught by surprise, a marine quickly fell to the hybrid, a jagged gash all but tearing his face asunder. A second soldier soon followed the first, the man’s bones snapping ominously as he was hurled into one of the bunkers concrete walls.

Relishing in his victory, Michael roared, elated.

Distracted by his rising bloodlust, the hybrid failed to notice Logos’ approach, or the syringe grasped within his hand. As the sharpened needle pierced his flesh, Michael snarled, kicking the bothersome vampire clear across the room. Yet, his events would fail to prolong the inevitable. Within minutes the sedative had taken effect, the potent tranquilizer racing quickly through the hybrid’s veins, spurred onwards by the frantic beatings of his adrenaline fuelled heart.

With his struggles losing their earlier violence, Michael soon ceased to fight at all, the inky blackness of his eyes soon disappearing as his eyelids drooped. Soon afterwards, the distinctive marks of his hybrid state began to recede, until finally there was nothing left by Michael, lost in a medicated sleep.

((Yes, I know it is only one reply, but X ended up distracted by X Files related fanmixes >.<))

Warmth; strength; the dual sensations snaked their way through the vampiress ailing body as she fed, Jason’s blood sparking new life in aching muscles and broken bones.

Wounds slowed their bleeding, healing just enough to still the ebb of Selene’s life. Finally, the crimson fluid cleared the haze that had been forming across her mind, prompting within the vampiress immediate recognition of her actions.

Instantly Selene’s eye flashed open, no longer a deep chestnut brown but a vivid blue, her teeth retracting from Jason’s flesh with equal speed. Lifting her uninjured arm, the vampiress wiped the vestiges of blood from her lips, her tongue darting quickly from between her lips to consume the last of the vital substance.

“T...thank you” Selene faulted, failing to hide the pain still assaulting her system. True, the blood had helped, and would continue to help, but the vampiress would still require time to heal.

Turning her eyes from the marine opposite her, Selene cast a glance down the corridor, watching as Michael was subdued, as he sank into an intoxicated slumber. Next, her attention shifted to the brawls casualties – two marines.

It could have been worse, Selene told herself. It could have been much worse.

“Take him to the infirmary” the vampiress instructed, turning away from the scene as she added – “Ensure he is restrained”

It pained Selene to give such an order. She trusted Michael, more than she had ever trusted anyone; yet, it seemed as if she was left with little other choice. The hybrid had become unpredictable, and their very safety might depend on ensuring that Michael remained incapacitated.

Releasing a trembling sigh, Selene returned her attention to Jason.

“I may need your help” she uttered, casting an irritated look at her visibly injured arm and leg.

((Okay, so that took longer than expected - although it wasn't X Files fanmixes this time, it was fanvids xP))

Amorak stood up somewhat injured but he knew they would heal quickly looking over to Logos who is slowly pealing himself off the floor he smirked when he noticed he was alright. looking back down to Michael he shook his head ." i guess we will have to make a move sooner then we wanted eh my friend " he spoke softly to Michael as he picked him up to bring him to the medical room.

Logos shook his head and slowly got up looking around. he saw Michael subdued and sighed a sigh of relief. there was a good chance they could have simply killed him but none of them could stand the fact of hurting thier friend. looking over to Selene and seeing her injuries. " Jason looks like he is going to help her " he thought to himself " i guess i'll help with the clean up " looking over to the dead marines, he shook his head " Michael is going to feel awful when he comes to his sences ... " he muttered to himself as he left to get the stretcher for the bodies.

With the young Lycan wraped in his coat Dorian slowly made his way through the caverns his eyes adapted to the dark he was making sure he didnt get lost. it has been sometime sense he had been in these tracks. he eventually came to the lycans hidout. making his way into the den he took his time so they would know he was coming and not a threat. last thing he wanted was to be attacked by a hoard of lycans.

sniffing the air he was confused for a moment. " Vampire? here? ... hmmm it seams the war has evolved as well ... " he muttered to himself as he walked through the halls and rooms of the hideout. still holding gently onto the young lycan woman.

It was the familiar scent that Lilith first registered – the musty odour that clung to the walls after centuries of lycan occupation, and the new, yet oddly welcoming, smell of vampire.

The den...?, her sluggish mind questioned, prompting the young lycan woman to open her heavy eyelids.

“...H...home...?” Lilith groaned, the words creaking past her cracked lips. Fighting against the pain still lingering in her system, the young woman struggled to free herself, to set her feet upon recognisable soil, but soon conceded defeat and slumped back against Dorian.

“V...vampire...?” the lycan echoed, frowning in unison with the blood’s comment. “S....Selene, a...and....” Lilith began, her explanation soon faltering. “A...and I...I can’t remember....” she stammered, a look of panic passing across her features.

“Lu...cian, I w...want to see my father...” Lilith demanded, her fear added surprising strength to her words.

"Lucian is here?" Dorian thought to himself looking down at the young woman. he nodded and looked around . " where can we find him? " he asked calmly. " i dont know my way around here so your going to have to direct me to him ..." he looked around again somewhat confused.

Although he had never met Lucian he had heard quite a bit about him. the man was a tactical genius but also an aspired fighter. he lead hundreds against thousands and still managed to win. quite a feat when you think about the odds.

reaching into his coat he gently pulled out a small water bottle. " here drink this and point the way. its only water so you have nothing to worry about." once again he started walking using her to guide him towards Lucian's quarters. he kicked the door lightly to sound like a knock and waited for an answer.

Gripping the bottle between her hands, Lilith drank greedily, the sudden introduction of fluids shocking her system, causing the lycan to cough and splutter violently. Now panting from exertion, the young woman lifted the bottle to her mouth again, delicately sipping the water. Thankfully, this time the water remained down.

Guiding Dorian as best she could, relying heavily on scent as her mind and sight seemed to be struggling, Lilith managed to direct them to her father’s quarters.

Slowly, the moments dragged on; yet the knocked remained unanswered.

“L...Lucian....?” Lilith called questioningly, her brow furrowing lightly as she stared at the closed door.

“H...he should be here... something m...must be wrong” the young woman stated, failing to hide her burgeoning worry.

Slight concern entered the mans mind as he shifted her weight in his arms practically holding her with one arm now. he checked the door knob. " hmm its unlocked. " he said quietly as he gently opened the door.

pushing the door open he shifted her weight gently again so as not to hurt her wounds. he slowly walked in looking around carfully as not to disturb anything. he gently sat her down on the empty bed and checked around in the other rooms in his quarters. coming back he shruged " there is no one else here ... could he be in another room or maybe meeting with someone somewheres?" he asked with some confusion and concern for the woman.

walking back over to her and kneeling down infront of her. " i will help you look if you would like. however you would have to accompany me as the others here may not take to kindly to a stranger wandering among thier home." he spoke quite calmly, and in a reasuring manner. he didnt wish to worry her as her father may just be in another room.

Grateful to be once more upon solid ground, Lilith released a trembling sigh, leaning back into the bed as her ice blue eyes swept the room. Lucian’s quarters appeared undisturbed, yet the young lycan couldn’t shake the feeling that something was still amiss.

“I...I guess that’s p...possible” Lilith managed to utter as Dorian returned, her attention still focused upon the room, searching for something, anything, that would indicate her father’s whereabouts.

Although she would never admit it, the lycan was beginning to think herself rather foolish. Her father was sure to be fine; he was Lucian, the lycan’s great and fearless leader, after all. Regardless of where her father was, he was sure to be well – he had to be well.

“Okay” Lilith voiced in agreement, nodding her head slowly. “But, I’m not going to be carried” the lycan added forcefully, working her way gingerly to the edge of the bed.

Placing her feet upon the floor, Lilith gritted her teeth, holding tightly to the bed frame as she stood. Unsurprisingly, her legs trembled and shook in the process, soon forcing Lilith to collapse upon the bed once more.

“So... I may need some support...” the young woman unwillingly admitted, grimacing at her weakness.
