Liah's brow creased at Obi. "What would be great? Oh, does this mean you're coming too? Good..." She paused, rubbing one hand down the side of her face. "I don't know, this seems sort of risky..." She looked at Deleano, who had cocked his head at her. "Yes, I know it was my idea, but what if we all just... get stuck? Has anyone tried just thinking of what - or who - they need and walking through before?" She shook herself. "Oh, just forget it. I'm gonna go try and find this 'maker.' The sooner, the better. Let's just get on with it! We've got dragons to save!" She smiled down at Deleano, then turned around to the other owners. "Come on, then!"
((Yeah, I know she's confusing. She confuses herself, to tell the truth... It's just that part of her wants to go off adventuring, and part wants to be safe. Currently, adventuring is winning. whee ))
((Edit: Okay, this post was stupid. Just really, really stupid. I did write it at 1:00 in the morning, though. I just wish people would post more often.))

(( I'm semi-back from the hospital, so if everybody wants to, we could get this going again... I'd prefer Mala to blend into the background as much as possible, though, since it's still awfully hard for me to concentrate and write.
Qi, I don't think the post was stupid! Somebody has to stand up eventually and say "let's go already"! wink ))

((Obi's internet has died and he cannot be on for awhile, so we can just pretend he left or has decided not to go with us))
Were smiled at Leah's "go get them" attitude and 'spoke to all her dragons. If you are going with us, stay near me. I don't want to accidently leave any of you behind. Immediately, a small herd of dragons was crowding around Were, while some decided to keep Rikho and Lhath company. Nodding at the dragons around her, Were did a quick count. "Ok, so the five of you that are coming, please try to not get lost."
Were then looked towards Leah. "Ready?" she asked hoping her voice was steady. Then without waiting for confirmation, Were invisioned in her head hoping text visions worked as well as image. She thought 'the old man who gave Mala this shop' and stepped through the magic door.
((To avoid confusion, the 5 dragons accompanying Were are Tryss, Ciera, Zarken, Gavin, and InkBlot))

"I would've liked to have more owners come with us", Mala says. "Today just had to be a slow day... Usually, there's more people here!"
She thinks for a moment, then adds: "Elim, Mordion... It would be better if one of you stays here and keeps the shop open. If another owner comes in, you can tell them what's going on, and if they want to, they can use the portal to follow us."
*Mala...*, Elim sends, *you're forgetting that we can't speak to other people, again.*
*Oh...*, Mala sends, sheepishly, *right!*
She looks around, then grabs a pen and a piece of paper and sits down at the table. Quickly, she writes down a basic explanation of the situation.
The two dragons look at each other - neither wants to stay behind, but they have to agree that it would propably be better. After a short staring contest, Elim sighs and holds out his paw for the sheet of paper.
*Thanks, Elim*, Mala sends as she hands it to him.
*Good luck...*, he sends back, *Bring my old man back safely, will you?*
That done, Mala walks to the door hesitantly, flanked closely by Mordion.
"Well... here we go!", she says.
She envisions the old man in her head as clearly as she can, then opens the door and steps through.
(( I'm going to wait a bit for Liah before I go on - and I think Riddle, Kat and Pixie are still in the store, as well? ))

Still standing next to Liah, and feeling much better now things were moving along again, Deleano nudged her with his head. When she looked at him, about to tell him to knock it off, this was serious, she stopped. He was staring at her with such an intensity... Oh, suddenly she knew. He wanted to come with them. Well, he looked all right now, she reasoned, so... "Okay, as long as you stay out of trouble, I guess you can come. But, make sure you stick close. I still don't trust that portal thing..." Deleano moved to stand alongside her,and she laid her hand on his back. In this way they walked toward the portal, and entered it just after Mala passed through. Liah only hoped that she knew what she was walking into...

(( Sorry, I've not been on Gaia much... To make a long story very short, I've been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis a few weeks ago, and I've had two flare-ups since which did more or less lasting damage to my brain. I'm doing a lot better, but I'm still sleeping or resting a lot, and physiotherapy/ergotherapy is taking up a lot of my time, as well. I'll try and get the next post written soon... ))

Pixie wanders into the store, thinking how quiet it seems. "Oh hello there Elim. Give me a hug. I haven't seen you in a while. I seem to have been so busy. But I've got that urge to buy another dragon plushie." Pixie gestured wildly hoping that if he didn't understand her words, he might at least understand her intentions.
After hugging the dragon, Pixie headed to the shelves to see what was there. Attracted as usual to the original style of plushie, it wasn't long before she spotted an unusual orangish coloured plushie. "Oh my, I MUST have that one," she exclaimed. Gesturing again to Elim, Pixie checked the price tag and rummaged in her purse for the right amount.
Putting the payment up on the counter, she sees Mala's hurried note. "Oh my. I guess there's no point waiting around. They could be ages. I hope they all come back safely." Giving Elim another hug, she left with her latest addition.

Pixie dropped by to buy another dragon plushie. She just couldn't help herself. Choosing a gold one, she paid and hurried home with her latest purchase.
