Deidra hurried forward to catch him and fell to the ground as he was a little heavy for her to really support at the moment. Dawn, however, stood back and watched Deidra begin to cry silently as she held Tasuki close and stepped back a pace. She felt a hand rest on her shoulder and she looked up to see Bane staring down at her through his mask and leaning slightly against his scythe. Dawn looked away and sighed before. "Somehow I knew it would come to this..." She walked over to Deidra and knelt next to them and glanced over the scars on Tasuki's face. "So this is the one the coven is so worked up over. Looks like quite a scrapper to me." Deidra said nothing nothing and merely sat there using her own shirt to wipe away the blood on Tasuki's fresh wounds. "You know..." Dawn began and stopped as if unsure how to go on. "Go ahead. Tell me how you disapprove of having a dragon on out domain. Tell me you will just end all this and just kill us both." Deidra whispered fiercely and finally looked at Dawn with a defiant look in her eyes. Dawn shook her head. "What I was plannin g ot say, we should really get him up to the castle to take care of those fresh marks on his face." she replied softly. Deidra stared at her with a priceless look of surprise and suspicion. Dawn shrugged and looked down at Tasuki. "Although this will change everything now...the coven will kill us all if I ever tell them." Deidra opened her mouth to say something but Dawn cut her off by holding up a hand. "I know. But I said if." Deidra stared at her and a small laugh escaped her lips and grew worse as she tried to choke it off. Bane watched them both from the side and shook his head as Dawn joined in the laughter and walked over and picked Tasuki up easily as if he were but a child. Dawn stood first and held out a hand which Deidra took gratefully and with with a knowing look gave her a hug. "Consider this a sort of minor peace treaty." She muttered and broke away to lead Bane up to main castle. Deidra stared after them for a few stunned moments then trotted off after them. "Boy, is this a day for surprises..."

Dawn looked over at Tasuki and a small smile played across her lips. She took his hand and shook it like a professional. "Dawn Enyart of the Moonstone Clan of the Witches coven or the Enyart Clan of my father's side. Whichever you want to look at it. Deidra's wicked twin sister." she smiled at the slight humor and winked at him before walking ahead to open the door to the hall for Bane and Deidra. "So what brings an adult dragon, such asyourself, to our lovely home?"

Dawn opened one of the doors in the hallway, leading to a comfortable study where a warm crackling fire cheerfully crackled in the fireplace, casting shadows over the walls. Bane immediately took the corner with the most shadow and stood there watching everyone. At Tasuki's comment, Dawn burst into laughter and rested a hand on Deidra's shoulder. "So my sister has finally found someone to court her... I'm sorry for laughing, it's.." She found control over her laughter and stopped and leaned against a bookshelf. Deidra looked a little miffed with the laughter and went to stand next to Tasuki. "What is so funny?" Dawn cleared her throat and cast an amused look in their direction. "Well, I guess by now you have heard about our father's story and how he met our mother?"

Dawn shrugged. "Close, but the difference was that she was not engaged to another or did not get lost in the middle of the woods like our infamous ancestor did." She smiled and folded her arms across her chest. "Rather, I believe there was a slight prophecy my father had in a dream before we were born." She raised a brow at Deidra who rolled her eyes. "Don't tell me it's the one about the necklace..."

Dawn glanced from Tasuki to Deidra and back. "Well, its pretty much like this. In the dream our mother was going into labor and was birthing. Well, instead of us she gave birth to two swords. One with the necklace Deidra is wearing wrapped around its blade, the other with flames bursting from its blade. Then out of nowhere these two men appear and take one of the swords..." Her face went carefullly blank as she continued. "Well, from one of the men's shoulders sprang a magnificent pair of dark colored wings and the other's face was hidden by a mask with a tormented face upon it...."

The room fell silent as Dawn went quiet and looked away at the fire.

Deidra followed Tasuki's gaze and her brows knitted into a frown. "So why do you have to mention it now?" She rested a hand on Tasuki's shoulder and looked at Dawn. Dawn shrugged. "Have you ever heard of the concept of 'soul mates', Deidra?" Deidra rolled her eyes. "Who hasn't?"

Dawn noticed Tasuki's reaction and a small knowing smile played across her lips. "I se you have, Tasuki. Which one rang a bell the similarity between your's and Deidra's palm or was it the spark of what felt like electricity when your skin first came in contact with Deidra's?" Deidra'e eyes widened. "How in the hell do you know about that?" she demanded. Dawn's smile grew wider and she tapped her forehead. "One of the skills of being a Mind Breaker. One can see the deepest and darkest thoughts to use to their advantage, but I don't use this skill for harm unless I truly have to." Her eyes darkened at the last comment and she fell silent and turned and looked at Bane who had been staring attentively at her throughout the entire conversation. She stared at him and a small frown crossed her brow. "Strange." she murmured and shook her head and looked at the clock on the mantle. "Well, it's early in the evening and we still have a little time to talk later. Who's hungry?"
