"He's so strange, brother. Why would that human remove a curse from him?" She answers telepathically.
"But she keeps leaving me!" Minx whines.
"Thank you, Cadmus, but i think i'll stay to shut him up." Amaya replies telepathically. She walks over to Daylin and kneels in front of him. "Here," She said taking a talisman from her neck, and placing it around his, "This is the japanese symbol for strength." She smiles and stands, walking away hands in her pockets.

"I don't know sister, I still can't fathom what goes on in that... Human's mind," thought back Tannik
"You mean it will make me stronger," said Daylin excitedly.
"Oh come on, werefox, it's not like it's been a long time," replied Cadmus.

Dhala shivers and makes sure she stays away from Amaya.
"It will if you believe in it." Amaya nods.
Minx snorts at Cadmus and wags his tail happily now that Amaya isn't leaving.

Daylin's eyes lit up with wonder and glee. "Thank you, Amaya human!" he said staring at the talisman.
Wes returned from a meeting with the villages. "I have completed the arrangements. We shale leave soon."
Cadmus yawns. "Guess it's time to get up again," he said.
"Finally, now we are one step closer to getting this over with," said Tannik.

Amaya smiles and pulls the hood of her cloak up, turning away from the group, walking into the burned house, pulling out he dagger again.
"Should we wake up Kage and SilverWind or leave them here?" Minx asks staring at the dragon and human that he disliked so.
"Wes," Amaya calls, "Can you come over here please? And seal off your thoughts to the dragons, if they hear this they will not like it."

"No, Wes, she'll curse you with her magic!" yelled Tannik.
"No she won't," said Wes, almost laughing at Tannick's fear. Wes walked toward Amaya. "Okay, what do you need to talk about?" he said when he was out of ear shot of the dragons.
"I don't care, and Amaya's gone silent," said Cadmus apathetically. "They'll come eventually."
"No, Silverwind comes too!" said Daylin adamantly.

Amaya shoots a glare Tannik's way. "Him, no. You, if I ever get the chance, yes." She sighed and knelled down picking up a black scale. "This is not a dragon, it's a powerful sorcerer." She looks up at him. "Do you have any abilities? If so, I need to know about them, it's sort of a life or death thing, I can't be worrying about yours and your hatchlings' protection."
Minx looks down at Daylin and sighs. "Okay, I'll wake them up." He gets down on all fours and wearily makes his way over to the sleeping couple.
Dhala tries to hear what Amaya is saying through Wes.

Leila starts to walk around, trying not to get too nervous. She returns to Amber and hugs her. "What is wrong, Freundin?", Amber asks her.
"I don't know...", Leila answeres vaguely. "I'm afraid that something strange is going to happen.." She frowns and closes her eyes while leaning to Amber's flank.

"Oh, well, I can track things really well, I'm great with a bow, and for some reason I can talk to animals though my mind. It's how I was talking to Tannik and Dhala earlier. If I focus really hard, I can take control of simpler animals.

"But other than that nothing? And tell your hatchling I know she's trying to listen, as I said, i have no problem killing either of them." Amaya is very serious and does not care about minor abilities at the moment.
Minx gets close to Kage and Silver Wind, takes a deep breath, and lets out a shrill howl, then runs back to stand next to Daylin.
Kage and SilverWind don't move.

"Dhala, stop listening in. You will regret it," Wes yelled and the female dragon. "She's probably just worried about me," he told Amaya in Dhala's defense. "As for other abilities, I can't really think of anything." Wes said a little ashamed.

Amaya sighs felling a little bad about downing Wes' abilities. "I'm glad you have someone to worry about your well being. If you have no further abilities, stay behind and send someone who can protect them self against magic. I am sorry Wes, but as i said, i cannot worry for your safety. Just as I cannot worry for Daylin's, Minx's, SilverWind's, or Kage's that is why they are staying behind."
"I'M NOT STAYING HERE!" Minx protests.

"What I lack in magical abilities I make up for with physical ones," said Wes angrily. "Trust me, I can hold my own. As for the others, Tannik should suffice for my transportation. He's braver that Dhala, and would not get left behind no matter what."
"Awe man, now she knows we're listening," said Daylin to Manx.

Amaya holds up a gloved hand. "Don't lose your temper on me, Wes. I am only saying this because of your well being. I am being generous take advantage of it. And physical strength will not help you any, should we run into what I fear we will. Your dragon is too young, and is not strong enough at the moment to withstand an assault from this group of dark crafters." Amaya said all of this rather calmly, as if she were talking to Daylin. "Send someone else." the last part carried a heavy weight of dominance and power on each word.
"Good, she better know that I'm not staying here." Minx snorted.

"Or if you prefer, perhaps Cadmus can assign you and your dragon to another task and I will take someone of your choice whom you trust with myself, Minx, Amber, and Leila I will not be taking Cadmus with me." Amaya offers standing.

"If I had to pick someone, I'd go with Dhala. She is far better at magic than her brother and less likely to get killed. Her counter spells can't be beat," said Wes As his eyes dropped. "Unfortunately, she is not brave. Her worrying might hinder her movements. If I go with her, she will be far less nervous. Of course we'll stay out of your way as much as possible. Our job is to be observers, after all."
