Zetan Koukon_Tenshi Today on CNN Student News, they had a thing on kids who are actually addicted to computers... Saying that your grades fall and stuff...
According to them, and many other people, I am a Internet addict. I am on the computer for more then five hours a day. It is one of my interests/hobbies. I love making icons, talking with on-line friends and all that other stuff.
But here is where my thoughts differ. They say your grades fall, you are not that social out-side of pixels, and your relationships fall. But I'm the opposite of that. Ever since I got on the internet, I have been researching random things, I've made new friends IRL (meet on the Internet though xd ) and my grades have been getting better.
Is it the same for you? *completely agrees* That "five hours a day" crap is complete bullshit. I'm on it almost constantly. I use it for research, looking things up, and often for meeting people with whom I meet in real life. If it weren't for the internet, I probably wouldn't have a social life, but I have a lot of friends outside of the pixelated world. I'm also on constantly.... My parents use to complain about that, but they don't anymore...

So I can take it out for, like, 5 minutes before class, just to check posts on Gaia and such. I'm pretty much always connected, or if I'm not, I will be within a couple hours.

Koukon_Tenshi Yanitome Koukon_Tenshi This kind of scares me... I just watched the Science Channel, and it was about humans exploring the solar system. At the end of it, they said if they don't find life on Mars, we are going to change its atmosphere, and bring life to it and create a whole other branch of species, basically.
Did you know nothing has happened on the moon for over two billion years? What about the whole "One small step for man one giant leap for mankind" thing? But I don't like the idea of man changing the atomsphere and bringing life to it, when it never had life... Oh ok I thought you ment in generall not just the atmosphere.
