((OCC: Oni is the Japanese word for ogre. It can also refer to a demon (or yokai). With the rise in anime popularity, Japanese terms are used a lot more often in RPs. Shrugs, then again, I don't know some terms people use that are not of Japanese origin. *shrugs*))

Illuminescence Taishon Eldon Taishon slinked along the ledge, surveying the city below. There was a magic user near by, he could feel it, and he did not want to be revealed by one of their kind again. Deciding that a full belly was worth the trouble, he changed. Blue mist and black shadows swirled around his fox form, obscuring it. When it cleared, the young man reajusted his grip on his quarterstaff and began to walk down the slope. Running a hand through his red hair, Taishon examined the scene below once more. Fastening the black cloak he appeared the image of the ranger he was. Seeing footprints and disterbed dirt along side the path, signs of roots being develed for, Tai hoped that there was someone in that place could tell him wear hard work was appreciated. (( OOC: Why can't I find your character bio? Did you post it in the "Post Info Here" thread? )) ((Opps forgot its there now))

A crow cawed in a far tree as the Ico rebels were trudging their way through an already muddy trail. It seems warnings of Ico advances had been heded by the Ico rebel generals and a counter attack had been made. Small scale skirmishes had been dying out, and a full on battle seemed ever more likely.
Josh's eyebrows knitted at the sign of the crow, to him it was a bad omen and from this his mind raced over thoughts of ambush. The crow nestled itself on a branch and began picking at its feathers. Josh nonchalantly strung an arrow on his long bow and fired at the bird. A squark was heard followed by a puff of feathers floating from the tree. Members of the Ico rebels turned and looked at Josh confused, yet he just shrugged and smiled.
"just putting my mind at rest"

And towards the Ico rebels.

While Kyo's troops prepared for battle, Zersilo and Banji worked on a different problem. Deep within the castle, a magical point remained from long ago. It continued within itself all the elements combined, it was necessary in Zersilo's plans.
However, the location was still unknown, but that soon would be remedied. Zersilo walked slowly concentrating on the source, until they came upon a statue. Gesturing to Banji with his head, Zersilo directed his brother towards the statue. Smirking Banji unsheathed his blade, and with one quick swing, slashed the statue in two. Then Banji half-hazardly through the two pieces of statue away. A faint glow could be seen imitating from the floor. Zersilo retrieved a vial of acid and poured it on the spot, in mere seconds the glowing part of floor disolved and left an old staircase.
Banji lead the way, and Zersilo followed, they descended deeper and deeper, until they came upon an altar, which connected to the other altar, by a magical link. This was the true source of power, which would allow the real purpose of this castle to be used.
Walking towards the altar, Zersilo read the writing, it was an ancient text. And it read "To open, first pour your own blood on the altar, having completed that, simply say "Whoopsiedazio" then the portal will be opened."
Zersilo followed the instruction and spoke the most sacred words of "Whoopsiedazio". As Zersilo finished speaking the words, a ray of light immiated from the center of the castle. Zersilo found that he could control it. He commanded the light to go into his castle on the surface. The light broke through the Netherworld's barrier, and proceeded to connect to his castle. Smirking Banji stepped into the light, and was teleported to the castle. Wasting no time, Banji gathered their massive armies, with all they're ranks, and prepared to go through the portal. Zersilo stood by controlling the power, he commanded the host of armies to go and surround Kyo. As he did this, thousands upon thousands of undead warriors of all shapes and sizes were teleported behind Kyo's army. Banji lead them. Zersilo smiled, this would be all too easy. However the castle's power was draining him too much of his magical power, he would have to stop for now, and rest. Although Zersilo wouldn't be able to participate in the battle, Banji would be able. Smirking Zersilo ascended the staircase, and moved to the dungeon. Taking out a scroll, Zersilo released the seal on his dungeon. Inside his most powerful warriors the liches waited. He removed their chains, and the twelve liches, leviated out of the castle. They had considerable power when it came to magic, and would serve as Kyo's bodyguards.
The liches soon reached Kyo and surrounded him. They would protect him at all costs, as their master had commanded.
Zersilo smiled as he went to his coffin, he had done all he needed to, and now was time for rest, to regain his magicks. His coffin was next to impossible to find, and in the unlikely time that someone did find the coffin, it would be impossible to destroy him, without first awakening him. With that happy thought in mind, Zersilo went to sleep, intending not to awake for a long time.

A tall man with a drum behind him beat it methodiacally, creating the metronome for the rebels to walk to. A soldier at the front swayed the ico rebel flag to and fro, while chanting small but morale raising motto's. armour clinked against armour, feet trounced on mud and the leaves on the tree shivered slightly. It was relatively calm, but then again when was there ever a dull moment in feudal Japan. Josh was on full alert.

((wow, i havent been here in a coons age. looks like not much has happened lol))
Kyo looks aorund and saw the dust on the horizon beginning to become larger. Suddenly all around him were undead liches,"What the..."he muttered to himself, than immediately remembered Zersilos' power and asked no more questions. Something just didnt smell right... He took on final look at his picture of Rin, and than tucked it under his armour. He could see the aarchers were in position, and he could sence the scent of blood, to be soon coming. HE smiled to himself and continued to wait until the enemy was in position for the trap to be set.

"So now it begins." Markus turned to his ghoul.
"Zersilo, Kyo, and Banji are moving. What will the Ico, and rebels do to stop this army? The odds are stacked against them at best. Kyo wants to rule the world, so what's in it for you, Zersilo? What are you hiding?" Markus draws a circle on the floor, and speaks, "Show me someone who could match Banji's Strength." The circle fades, and inside Markus sees three strange orcs, sitting around a table drinking tea and eating biscuits.
"I need to meet with these orcish ones, they could be powerful allies. Banji is at the end of his brother’s string, and is far too powerful to take on alone. My tower is warded against all sorts of magic, but if he turns against me, Banji could be hard to handle."

Illuminescence Vector bent her knees and picked up the sword she tossed at Kyo's feet a moment ago. She silently smirked to herself. She decided that she would need to talk to Kyo again, definitely. She had other plans in store for him, herself, and for Genesis. Vector felt her stir. "What was that?" she questioned. "I saw a person that looked like a demon. You know that person? Kyo?" Vector strapped the sword to her back. "Yes, I do know him. It is a long story about my travels and experiences with the Odah clan. You've heard of them, right?" Genesis scratched her head. "Actually I haven't." "I don't expect you to know. The clan suffered a major defeat and it is mainly falling apart. But I'll be glad to tell you the history anyway."Vector walked to the door and quietly shut it. "The Odah clan started off with a group of elite warriors. They were the best of friends. They were also renown for their skills. They, being better than everyone else, decided to start a clan limited only to elite fighters. I don't know why, maybe that was their hobby. It doesn't matter at this point. The numbers slowly grew, but not at an alarming rate. You see, they kept recruitment to a minimum. Only when someone has caught their eye, they will attempt by all means to befriend them. If not, they were to be targeted and hunt down. I must say that they were quite efficient at scaring everyone else. Everyone believed that the Odah were too strong, and as a result, formed clans of their own. The Odah are the oldest clan. It hurts to see them fall." Vector took a deep breath. "All the clan members knew each other, since it was so small of a clan anyways. Kyo and I were in it. I have never personally been on a mission with him before, but all I needed to know was that he had to be some worth to be in the clan. That's what makes assassinating him so difficult. He knows every trick and strategy inside-out. I can only wait for him to stumble and gain the advantage." "But it's me that will kill him, right?" "Yes, that is correct. He has died already. We need someone...holy, as we might say, to send his soul to rest...or at least not in his body."Vector stared at her hands. They weren't enormous or extremely small, but the average size. She gradually clenched and unclenched her hands. "That means you have a lot to accomplish." Vector nodded in agreement. *to himself as he listens* huh? im odah, imagine how one person could be so righ and i've never seen them and i know just about every odah?!? Well come on kuma i found a new spellbook in my parents old stuff*he says as he picks up the raccoon and flys off*
