Zular and Krudesh sat in a tavern drinking and laughing at how kind fate had been. They had so much in common even though they were so different. Zular raised a glass "To my good friend Krudesh, may your fur always be warm!"

Krudesh laughed, "And to my Brother Zular, may your breath see better days!"

Both about fell off of their chairs rolling with laughter.

"Those poor farmers" Zular started, "They couldn't even rid themselves of a few pesky goblins."

"And I said 'We'll take care of them for you!'" Krudesh continued.

"Twelve goblin heads and a hundred and twenty gold bill later we're wallowing in ale and laughing at how the goblins' heads rolled when you kick them."

"Well it would have been a hundred and thirteen gold if you hadn't smashed that ones' skull. We couldn't scrape enough of him off the ground to claim the kill for that one."

"Bah, thirteen is bad luck anyway. Besides at the price we charged those farmers, they can have the one free goblin."

Krudesh laughed at Zulars' superstitions. "Do you really believe more gold is bad luck? If so maybe I should find a new partner."

Zular laughed, because Krudesh knew that the gold was the only reason that Zular did these odd jobs.

Zular took a long drink from his mug. "You know, aside from goblins business has been slow lately. You think maybe we should head over to the Ico rebel encampment and see if they have any work for us?"

Krudesh shrugged, "as long as they don't try to enlist us again, My hand still hurts from knocking out the last guy that tried that."

"Yeah," Zular began, "do they understand what short term employment means? It means that we do one Assassination, Sabotage, or Espionage (their choice) and then we get paid and go on our way until we need more gold."

Krudesh set down his mug, and left a gold piece for their drinks.

"Aren’t you being kind of generous with your money?" Zular asked for something like the fifth time.

Krudesh gave his usual answer, "It's just money, we’ll kill someone or something and make more later."

Zular gave a frown that made his face look so ugly, one of the regulars almost lost their lunch. "If you say so."

The being of light stood there as though he was in a trance. He responded quickly " My name is Akurrossu the Ebodiment of Light and may I ask what are you doing here. What is your name?" Once more the being falls into silence as he awaits for a response from the mysterious warrior that is near the stair case. Still it is strange...to see...a paladin...around this area... although it can be a purifying act...but...there might be something...else...

As he awaits a response he scans the strange area. Every part of the area was well design and somewhat sineous in many parts of the area. Even the balcony was a well-rounded area as though it was a oval shape. The being stood there as he can remembered that there was a slight similarity of this castle and the Azuchi castle. He remembered this because he have been seeing many events and he was created before the beginning of time.

After observing the sinuous design of the room, Akurrossu looked at the mysterious warrior. Once more the cold silence has dawned upon the area, as Akurrossu hovers over to the warrior.

Kyo looked at his legion and saw they were preparing to march, and for battle, sharpening weapons, tending to Armour, and the such. He sat under a haning willow tree in his armour, and watched them preparing.

Kyo looked up form his troops and saw Rin staning in front of him, wearing armour, and carrying weaponry. He smiled broadly, and stood up in forn of her and took her in his arms,"You should be in the room my love..."he kissed her cheek, and remeained standing there holding her tightly.

Kyo sat on the ground his back leaning agains tt hne tree, and pulled Rin down into his lap, and sat there with his head restying on her shoulder, letting his love for her course between them. He saw his tropps still preparing, but drawing closer to completion, and the precious time with Rin was slipping wayw. At this thought he pulled her closer,"Rin...will you be careful...and if anytihng happens to me, you mus go back t my grandfather and tell him what has happened."

Kyo looked at the pendant around his neck, and back at Rin,"It will never leave my neck."he pulled her into a tight hug,"No matter what happenes to me...know that I love you, and will alway love you..."he rested his head on her shoulder. Presently an aide walked up to them and saluted. He was leading a horse for Kyo,"Sir,"he said,"The legion is almost prepared. What are your orderes?" Kyo looked att he ground, than back at Rin, than at the aide,"Tell the men to form a marching column. HEad for these co ordinates. I wil catch up."the officer saluted and left the horse for Kyo, rushing off to convey his orders. Kyo looked back at Rin,"I will return...if i should fall...dont cry or mourn for me...this is my only wish."he kissed Rins forehead, and continued to sit on the ground, hodling her tightly.

kyo could have stayed in her arms forever, but slowly, as the final elements of his army moved out, he stodd up, and gave RIn a long itght hug, before giving her a long deep kiss. He mouted his horse, and said,"Ill be back tonight Rin."he blew her a kiss and rode off looking at her one last time, before disapearing over the horizon. As he rode along his legions long snakelike line, there were some cheeres form his troops and many salutes, but he payed little attention, still seeing the mental image of Rin standing under that tree.

"What do you mean your not hiring?" Zular screamed at the frightened rebel captain.

"Well sir, it's just that we have bigger problems than the Ico right now. My superiors are keeping the details classified, but from what I've gathered, there is going to be a rather huge war very soon. I was told to turn down or enlist any mercenaries seeking employment, and since you two aren’t interested in fulltime employment, I'm sorry, but I can't give you a..."

Before the captain had finished speaking Zular and Krudesh were out the door.

"So what do we do now?" Krudesh asked.

But Zular seemed too focused on something else to answer.
