"Ow, ow, don't touch it now. It's starting to hurt! Fingers off!" He pulled back slightly, intending to handle his own scratches. Of course he couldn't figure out why he itched, but the important thing was getting rid of it. He side glanced Cole and just had to laugh. "You are far to proper young man."

Nelphean cocked his head... Unsurprised, and slightly annoyed. "We all have our theories, but I am not undead, but I died. OR didn't die, but came here." Nelphean shruged. Potions and enchanters had a point...

Nailah stared at teh elf. "So you died..but you didn't die. You're not undead but...I'm confused." Shaking her head she said, "Never mind. Why would you look for a spit in a manor. Aura has all the modern conveniences. Well in her kitchen anyway." She saw slight annoyance in his eyes and wondered what in teh world she had done. It seemed she was upsetting everyone lately. Turning to Eclipse she said, "I was just trying to help! Besides if you scratch yourself raw it's going to hurt. So stop trying to scratch. And I'll leave it alone."

"Well it itches!" He let his ears dropped and whined in an almost childish way. He then forced his paw down, quickly. Oops, if it was hurting him, it was probably transfer to Aurahkah. He'd better stop, despite the discomfort. He then cast a looked to Cole again and merely snorted. The wolf's attention returned to Nelphean. "Hey, weren't you in the process of feeding us both?"

"You have done nothing wrong, Miss Nailah. I am just not my usual charming self." Nelphean shruged. "Different era. I am from another plane of existance, and was assisted in leaving by a fireball. I have no idea how I got here, or why. But, where I am from, whe don't have a source of electrical energy, nor will one ever be built. The realm is a dark gorey place with little hope for the survival of the few born intently good." Nelphean breathed autably.
"In less then tewnty four hours I have..." Nelphean stops talking.
His eyes seem intent, and some great sorrow underlies his thoughts... How evil am I...
"Food?" Nelphean seems confused, as though he completely forgot about the food... "Sorry, distracted by..." Nelphean stands and looks at the stove again. "The instruction manuel never included how to cook." Yes. He read it. And the friges, and many of the other appliances... He needed something to do while he was waiting for the scan to finsih...

Nailah sensed teh sorrow. He was feeling slightly out of place and who could blame him really. But here he would find whatever it was he needed. Even if he didn't think he needed anything. "Assisted by a fireball? Sounds...painful. Oh the stove is right there. Looking at Cole she said, "Eclipse allows people to touch him. His bark is much worse than his bite. You haven't pet him yet? And you..stop whining. Men are such babies." she sighed and shook her head. She was starving and she really needed a drink. STanding she walked over to the bar and poured herself a glass of wine. "Anyone else?"

Cole looked at his hands. "I have only been awake for a day. And that was my first night here. I did not think it seemly to...touch the wolf of my hostess without permission of course. And I will have a glass of gin, if you have it that is. No need to be a bother. I will be fine with a glass of water if need be."

"Sure." Nelphean agreed. "But I am feeling depressed, how about some of the mystery liquid in the back of the fridge, the one that is bubbling groteskly." Nelphean shruged. "I made it last night, it is still good. I don't recomend it for those with no tolerence though."

Eclipse stopped his paw mid way to his ear, stepping on it with his other to stop its motion. He cocked his head at Nelphean. He wasn't sure how it all worked exactly but he had a pretty good idea. "You just...turn it one and put the food in.... and leave it for a while...at least that's how Saradin does it..." He plopped down on the floor and tucked both paws under himself. Another attempt not to scratch. No, Aurahkah was not afraid to beat him with a stick at all. His gaze shifted to Cole. "You need to seriously, lighten up. If I was going to bite you, I would of." Then his head snapped to Niah. "Don't drink it. Remember last time you took a dare like that? Need I remind you?

Nailah shrugged. "That was one time, and I didn't know! It was a drinking contest. How was I supposed to know he was going to bring in some heathen god's brew." she sighed. Looking at Cole she said, "Much to my delight Aura has every drink you can imagine. Would you like that on the rocks?"

Nelphean complies with Eclipses' orders. He looks away from the stove and looks at the dwellers of the kitchen. Is this odd company? They don't get out much... or there is a serious homogenous racial quality to this plane.
"How lond until the food is ..." Nelphean surrendered his question, and conjouered an image of Nailah, wearing Aurahkah's clothes, to watch the food. "Got it covered."

Eclipse's eye widened at the conjured illusion. he didn't know what to think. Slightly creeped out maybe. Niah..in Aurahkah's clothes...yes creepy was the word... Suddenly he wasn't thing about itching anymore. What was this? One of the elf's thinkings about the women he had met here go wrong? Or just a combination he...No Eclipse...stop right there... "That's so very odd." Trying to divert is attention he turned to the real Niah. "Well he is a vampire, dear. You should expect things like that from him."

"On the rocks? Oh, I assume you mean with ice? And yes I would, please, but again do not go to any extra trouble on my account." His eyes moved to the elf and widened at the appearance of a second Nailah. She was dressed differently but it was not doubt her. The same gorgeous hair and her body... He shook his head. Cole cleared his throat and looked at the wolf. He had said 'vampire.' So there was one here. The villagers had stated all manner of evil lived in this place. This was interesting. Very interesting, indeed.

"You people really lack expierence with a good illusionist." Nelphean walked back to the table and sat down. Though, the prospects of being the only illusionist didn't bother Nelphean. His magic was useful, his natural charm faded, his other skills remain untested in this world.
