Nailah walked into the kitchen and saw Eclipse fall to the ground. He was scratching at some place near his ear. She bit her lip to keep from laughing and said, "Eclipse? Let me help you." She walked over to him and leaned down. Using two fingers she began scratching at the spot near his ear. "Is that better?"

"Nelphean. Good to meet you." He saw Nailah come through the door and recognition popped into his brain. He saw her lean down and relieve Eclopse and again admired her. She was very courageous, after all that wolf was huge.
"Evening Lady Nailah. How are you this night?"

Nelphean watched the wolf spasm on the ground trying to end his itche... "I wonder if you are reacting to the wooden goblins... Did they scratch or touch you?" Nelphean looked down curiously...
He opened the fridge, and removed the roast. "Ok... now where is the spit and fire...." Nelphean, though intellegent, does come from a technologically primitive world.
Nelphean puts the food on a counter.

Eclipse relaxed under Niah's finger, letting himself go slack. "Oh dear lords and everything that is holy...thank you Niah. Thank you. Lack of hands you know...can't always get the job done." Craning his head back, he licked her hand in dog like thanks and then righted himself, giving himself a good shake to settle out fur and feathers. Then he laughed. "Oh Nelphean..."

Nailah smiled and said, "My fingers are at your service anytime you need them, Eclipse." She heard Cole and looked up at him with a smile. "Hi Cole. I see you are awake too." Then she saw the new one in the kitchen. He looked to be an elf. With blue eyes and blond hair. She walked over to the table and sat down. "Have you found everything alright Cole?"

Cole smiled at Nailah. "Yes, but I seem to have taken dreadful advantage of your hospitality. Please accept my humblest apologies," he said bowing and kissing her hand. "If you could just direct me to Lady Aurahkah, I would apologize to her as well."

Food quickly abandoned Nelphean's thoughts... He tilted his head... This girl knew something... She did look disappointed. Nelphean shruged... Another introduction was necessary.
Nelphean walked over to the table and sat across from Nailah. "Hello, I am Nelphean." Nelphean smiled and decieded to be... civ....civ...civil... He softly drumed his delicate fingers on the table.

Eclipse cleared his throat, and then padded over to Niah, sitting next to her. He then looked to Cole. "I will pass the message along to Aurahkah for you, no need to wake her right now...

Nailah reached down and softly stroked Eclipse's head. "Hello Nelphean. My name is Nailah." Turning to Cole she laughed. "Cole we have been through this. You are welcome to stay here and you don't need to apologize anyway." She raised an eyebrow at the elf. "Spit and fire? It's called a stove. Use it." Her violet eyes wandered over him. He was definitely an elf. She wondered what his purpose here was. Was he just another traveler? Or another outcast like the rest of them.

Eclipse cocked his head. "Warning? What warning? She's Niah...what warning do you need? Would you like a bark perhaps?" He then barked. "Nailah is here. There..." He lifted a paw, scratching at his ear again. "Insufferable thing..."

He raised an eyebrow at the elf. Warning? What kind of warning? He resolved to watch the elf, there seemed to be more to him than was apparent at this moment in time. Cautious was his middle name. One mistake and the past would repeat itself. Much like that night...

Nailah raised an eyebrow at the elf. "Heaven? Well this place is wonderful..but heaven? If it were heaven we would all be dead. And Eclipse's itch wouldn't exist." She leaned down and scratched Eclipse again trying vainly to rid him of it once and for all.
