(( OOC: Yeah, it might be best if Akuma tries out all of the buttons. That would probably be the most accurate. But then again, it's all your choice. Don't worry, I'm trying to get your opponent very soon, please hold on! ))
((Okay, I'm in no rush, I just thought it would be repetitive if I did a bunch of pointless posts about buttons. ^^ I'll make another one soon in the mean time.))

Rin blushed and looked down upon his face as she laid on top of him with her arms on either side of him, propping herself up. "Are...you sure? I mean...I know you've been having some problems lately...I didnt want to wake you up when you needed the sleep..." She gave him a weak smile before rolling off of him to lay beside him with a small sigh and she looked up at the ceiling.

Kyo smiled and rolled over and kissed her,"I dont need sleep. Alls i need is to be near you."kisses her nose, and snuggles with Rin, putting his arms around her waist and his chin on her shoulder.

Rin couldnt help but smile and kiss her husband's forehead and then wrap her arms around his neck, her head resting on top of his. She closed her golden eyes and pulled her husband closer to herself and she buried her face against the stop of his head...making his head somewhat like her pillow.

It dawned upon Vector that she was in the guards' barracks. Narrow hallways and many private bedrooms signified a sense of security to her. Vector decided that she needed to make her way into a room with more space. Things would not bode well if she were caught trapped. She prodded onward. She wished that she didn't have to abandon the dark hallways. She absolutely loved the dark and despised the light. Vector began to consider the delights of living in the Netherworld. The magma, the dusty skies, the black tiles of the palace...she longed to immerse herself in this world. But she had promises to keep.

After passing by several skeleton guards and a human (which she took the most effort to evade), Vector at last caught sight of a foothold in her quest. In front of her was a place where four hallways converged at a center point, which a staircase was located. She stopped to decide whether she would move up or down. Her intuition told her that persons of importance regularly lodged as high as the building's altitude would allow. The bottom would most likely be where the population located themselves: the lobby. She remembered the skyscraping tower. How many stories would she have to climb? Countless, she assumed. Then, she remembered the moat of lava. She had also noticed something strange about it. Vector didn't like the moat for some reason. The flowing rivers of magma pleased her, but not the moat. She couldn't place her finger on the nuisance.

Vector bent her knees and began to stretch. While reaching beyond her right foot with her hands, she checked up on Genesis. Even Genesis had to sleep. She wasn't used to staying up, not like Vector. Missions assigned to her frequently required for her to keep awake when most were snoring their butts off. Vector calmly observed her while she slept. Her silent snores were quite pleasant. Vector finished stretching her left leg and stood up. She crept closer, just to be sure that no one was lurking in the corners. Not even a mouse stirred...that is, if mice inhabited the towers of the Netherworld. With that, Vector silently dashed up the stairs.

Banji sat in his room, listening throughout the castle. There was a mouse about, but it wasn't of the vermin persuasion. Banji no longer was wearing his heavy armour, going for some lighter leather armour instead. His eyes were closed and he was aware of everything around him. His senses, were much like that of a bat. Just by his hearing he could feel sense the room about him. A beating heart, as humans had, was a mere annoyance when you were listening to things. There never truly was silence, even after death, he could hear rotting corpses being eaten when they died. Where the mouse was Banji only had a vague idea.

snuggles closer to Rin. He lay there, and kenw that rommorrow there would be the battle. He could Sence the enemy forces nearing them, and he would need to bait the trap sufficiently, and get his legion intop place. HE looked at Rin as she dozewd and felt something stir inside him. love perhaps, or prottection. He kissed her forehead and stared at the ceiling. He needed to talk to Banji or Zersilos, and tell thme his plans.

Rin snuggled closer to her husband and her eyes were still shut. She had been so tired, but so concerned for her husband that she had worn herself out pretty much. Feeling Kyo draw her closer made her wonder if something was wrong, but she thought nothing of it at the time and continued to sleep in his arms.

~*DREAM SEQUENCE*~

She stood it was seemed to be a dark room, maybe not so much a room, but in complete darkness nonetheless. Looking down at her clothing, it was a simple looking kimono, but made of the finest satins and silks. It was an icy pink in color, with white cherry blossoms embroidered. There were accents of lavendar and silver as well.

Her waist length red hair was tied of in a high ponytail with pink and white ribbons falling gracefully from it and entwined with her beautiful hair. The darkness was peaceful and quiet, but the peace was disturbed as a strong wind whipped at her face and a new image appeared.

She was standing on a battle ground, more so watching than fighting. The sky of the Netherworld was blood red with swirls of black and orange, lightning striking all over. Behind her was Zersilo's castle and as she looked out she could see the enemy and then her husband's troops engaged in battle.

From her point of view she could see Banji and Zersilo killing people left and right seeming merciless and enjoying their killing. 'Just like them...' She thought to herself. Kyo was fighting as well, and her husband's troops seemed to be doing fairly well. However, all of that seemed to change at the approach of one particular man that caught her eye who was fighting with the enemy.

The man looked about 27 or so...which was older than Kyo and herself...Rin was only 19 years old, Kyo only 21. He was dressed in a red hakama and gi, along with shiny plated armor and boots. His hair was a chestnut brown color and was tied back. The mysterious enemy seemed to scan his troops with his menacing gray eyes which soon landed on Rin herself and made her freeze in her spot almost paralyzed. There was something familiar about him...but what?

She saw him ride forward and immediately aim for Kyo. Watching in horror, Rin witnessed the battle between her husband who was doing very well, and the elite warrior opponent. However, an odd look fell unto the sky and the breeze blew stronger...everything was eerie. The man looked directly upon her once more before taking a blow at Kyo unexpectedly and let the former prince drop to the battle field covered in blood...dead.

In her dream she could not scream, but she opened her mouth to let out a shriek of sheer horror as she watched her husband die before her very eyes, but no sound came out. Not only from shock...but from the realization that her husband's murderer was standing before her, one hand covering her mouth and the other wrapped around her delicate neck choking her.

Below on the battle field, she could see the enemy drag up Kyo's body only to reveal that he truly was alive, but just barely. They brought him closer and pulled his head back to make him watch as their leader choked Rin and eventually stabbed his sword through her. From there, he tossed her body off the small cliff and her dead body landed and Kyo's feet. For Kyo, it was unbearable and he screamed out for his dead wife, but was silenced once the guards snapped his neck and dropped his body beside Rin's.

~* END OF DREAM *~

In reality, Rin's eyes snapped open and she was panting slightly and she sat up in bed and wiped the sweat from her forehead. For a few minutes she kept her face buried in her hands as she thought 'Where have I seen that man? Where?' It would surely bother her until she knew the answer to her question.

The worries of war came flooding back to her and she had to calm herself down and reassure herself that Kyo would be alright, as well as their vampire friends would make it through. It was then that she realized how bad her anxiety was and how much she feared the war that would be coming all too soon for her liking.

Matsu sat in his home in Hokkaido, sipping some green tea. The entire area was securred, and many people came to escape the harshness of life on the mainland. The land had been transformed from a once cold wasteland to a bustling community. The mountain had been taken recently, and now the power of the ice witches belonged to Matsu. This new found power would make it easier to care for people. Although he was normally not one to accumulate power, Matsu figured that he would need it to safeguard the village. The power would allow control of the nothern elements. Inside the mountain itself, there was a great quality of magic artifacts, along with the skulls of adventurers who had tried to lay claim to the mountain. The mountain had been constructed into a look-out. The gnomes that were part of Agriman helped to contruct a large seeing glass. The entirety of the island could be viewed from that land point, so it had become vital importance to control. Although this island was at peace, it troubled Matsu that so much security was required. Even in the past few weeks, orcs had died defending the island from maruaders.

Setting down his tea, Matsu walked over to a large pot. Peering in, Matsu examined Rin's dreams, inside he witnessed Rin's dreams. There was some forth-coming in them. The dreams were like a preminotion of what could happen. It was quite interesting, the mind probe would continue to record it in the jar. The jar was what allowed Matsu to view Rin's dreams without as much waste of energy. He would continue to watch, as Kyo's goals were ambitious, a little too ambitious.

To Rin it seemed Kyo was asleep and she didnt want to wake him up at all. Quietly she got up from bed and walked to the conjoining bath in their bedroom. It was almost like an indoor hot springs, constantly filled with hot water. There was a kimono folded neatly beside the tub which made her wonder, but she just ignored it and undressed from her aquamarine one and slipped into the hot water.

The heated water against her soft skin fell good...especially for her tense muscles. She sank down fully so the water covered her head, and she took the peach and vanilla scented soaps and washed up, including her silky hair.

Climbing out of the tub, Rin dried off and reached for the fresh kimono. It shocked her when she realized it was identical to the icy pink one from her nightmare. Shaking the thoughts from her mind, she quickly dressed and tied her hair up into a high ponytail with the pink and white ribbons.

Walking to her bed, she pulled on the white satin boots and fingerless gloves that reached her elbows. Kissing Kyo on the forehead, Rin quietly opened the bedroom door, then exited and shut it quietly and began to explore Banji and Zersilo's castle.

Wandering the hallways, she observed everything on the walls, the floor...anything noticable. It seemed she had been wandering for quite some time, but she didnt know how long she'd been gone and she had not an idea where she was either.

Banji sighed as he heard Rin exploring the castle. He was about to have known the exact location of the mouse, but now that was all in ruin. Although, it was probably a good thing that he knew where Rin was. Kyo became as weak as a child for Rin, pathetic. All that love stuff was a waste of time. With that fact in mind, Banji would have to protect Kyos darling little wife, for as long as Zersilo deemed it was necessary. Personally, Banji would rather just use Rin as a meal, perhaps keep her around as a servant of some sort. With that merry thought in mind, Banji crept through the halls with a hunters grace. Never wasting a single motion, each step confident, yet cautious. He moved quickly, and reached Rin in a relatively short time.

Reaching out with a nimble fingers, Banji placed them on Rins shoulders stopping her from going anywhere. "And why are you pacing about so late at night...?" Banji asked calmly, unaware of how freaky it was to just be grabbed out of nowhere by someone.

When Banji grabbed her she screamed out and seemed to cower away from him until her back hit the wall. Her golden eyes locked onto Banji's bewildered and filled with fear as she stood there, her hands shaking slightly. Ever since her dream about the war that night, she had been completely on edge. Opening her mouth to speak, she found that no sound came out and only stood there with her hands at her sides.

Banji sighed. Instead of attempting to comfort her, Banji simply grabbed Rin, picked her up, threw her over his shoulder, and though she tried to escape, Banji didn't seem to notice, his grip remained.
"You shouldn't go around by yourself, makes you an easy target." Banji said gruffily.
He continued on, caring Rin over his shoulder, until they finally made it to Kyo and Rin's room, he dropped her in her place beside Kyo, with a resounding thud, and then proceeded to walk out of the room. Before he closed the door, Banji gazed into Rin's bewildered eyes.

"Don't go wandering outside of your room, there are un-invited guests about." Banji said seriously.

He then closed the door and placed a heavy statue in front the door. Rin wouldn't be able to move it, Kyo would be able to. The statue blocked the door from view, meaning that it would be impossible to get them in their sleep. A battle was a battle, and Banji intended it to be tomorrow, he had shined up his good armour and made all his preparations. Given the old speech to the troops about how they weren't much better than the ground they stood on, but better than nothing. Grinning Banji continued back towards his room, to meditate and get in the right state of mind.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 06, 2004 11:24 pm

Banji startled her completely as she grabbed her roughly and slung her over his shoulder like she weighed nothing...though she barely weighed anything in her small form anyways. Rin was never used to anyone being too rough with her, she was used to Kyo's gentleness, but mentally she slapped herself for thinking that way.

As the vampire tossed her onto the bed and gazed back into her eyes, she listened to his words carefully. Rin was unable to tell if it were a warning or if it was out of concern, but nonetheless she watched him retreat before flopping back on her bed and snuggling up to her husband and pretty much fell asleep again.

Nothing like getting grabbed by a vampire, slung over his shoulders, and then tossed back on your bed and locked in...nothing at all.

Vector ceased to climb the stairs after she passed thirty stories. She didn't dare waste her time and she especially didn't want to accelerate her breathing rate. One had to be cautious; the Netherworld was certainly not in favor for a home advantage. She was never sure whether she was the one stalking someone or if somebody else was stalking her. Vector considered herself lucky for not encountering a vampire...yet. She raised her head toward the ceiling. Vector estimated that there were about seventy stories remaining. That's something teleportation could fix. But she always wanted to make sure that she was safe.

Even hunters have a vague idea if they're being hunted themselves. Vector admitted to herself that she was feeling eerie. The atmosphere was too silent. It led her to wonder how long nighttime lasted in the Netherworld. Perhaps weeks at a time? Months? Even years? She no longer knew the difference. Nighttime was in her advantage, but then again everyone must be used to it, so she considered the possibility negated. Vector stood silently. Silence was given, and silence was returned. She allowed a minute to pass by. Nothing came to her. Vector then decided to meditate, to gather her magic for a long-distance teleport. Her breathing rate slowed, her eyes shut, and she embraced the aura of the castle. The magic surely came to her, gradually attracted to her like how opposite charges attract. The energy was supplied to her throughout the castle: the hallways, the walls, and even the stairs. This place was full of magic. The castle must have belonged to someone who depended on channeling energy. A necromancer or a great sorcerer, perhaps?

During the midst of the absorption of energy, she thought she heard something. Vector wasn't quite sure, because after she heard it, more magic came in, and that took her thoughts away from the noise. Vector checked on Genesis once again. She was still sound asleep. Vector returned her gaze upwards. Almost ready. How many stories could she move now? About...thirty. She would need to meditate for another minute. Surely gathering energy was something that would distinguish herself in the castle. Perhaps the master of this enormous place would already locate her? Vector contemplated that thought. Kyo couldn't own this place. He was a demon that primarily fought using his own strength. No, she was dealing with somebody else. Vector told herself never to underestimate anything, even when it was obvious. Experience from many missions taught her that, and she kept the lesson at heart.

Vector turned her head. Did she hear that noise again? Was it a mouse? No, she couldn't tell if mice could live in this environment. Unassumingly, she imagined that the master was a very meticulous person. He wouldn't allow pests in a magnificent castle like this. The noise was very faint. She could barely hear it among the magic that she absorbed. Then she realized that she couldn't possibly be the only one going hunting.

Perhaps Vector was the mouse now.
PostPosted: Sun Nov 07, 2004 8:38 am

Banji grinned, he enjoyed the hunt. Especially at nightime, he thrived in it being a vampire. The mouse was being quite careful, but perhaps not enough. Instead of contiouing towards where he believed the mouse was hiding, he went on to a darker looking hallway. Lightly tapping on a large door, it creeked open on its own. Inside Zersilo was reading a large tome. This was the library, filled with books on magic. Putting the book down, Zersilo glanced at Banji.

"What seems to be the problem, brother?" Zersilo asked yawning, showing he was bored.

"I'm working on pest control right now, brother." Banji replied with a smirk.

Zersilo gave him a stare for a little while before sighing. "Yes, I know they are drawing some of my magic now. However, I only have a rough idea where they are." Zersilo sighed.

"Then we shall look together, find the mouse, eliminate it if necessary" Banji said crossing his arms over his chest.

"Very well, it only makes sense, if you don't get rid of the first mouse, then more will come." Zersilo said smirking.

Together the two vampires began closing in on the mouse, soon it would be within their grasp.

((This would be a funny post if it was an actual mouse they were going after... xd ))

Kyo yawned and woke up. He rolled over and smiled at Rin before giving her a kiss, and getting out of bed. He bathed quickly, and went into the main chamer of their room, where in a mirror, he ritualisitclay smiked his hair up into long liberty spikes. IT would be a powerful psychological weapon against the enemy. hE then put on undergarment, than his Gii and Hakama, and finally began to put on his armour. It was traditionall Japanese armour, made from wood and leather, with a few metal scales, in what was called the 'Oyori' style. He put on the battle sandels, and put the short Wakaisashi in his sash, before taking up his No Daichi. HE turned around and looked at Rin and smiled,"How ar eyou doing this morning my dear?"
