NightRayn
You guys have way too much free time to think this stuff up.
If it makes you feel any better, I'm still hanging out with the underpants.

all of that of course doesn't matter when you weigh in the tensile strength of 6 inches of foam rubber coupled with a half inch of packing peanuts, and a completely unbroken circle of candy corn. If we were to protect every structure in the world with this excat combination of elements, then all structures would become totally indestructable.

Wouldn't we still have to worry about high velocity space objects also containing the stucture you mentioned?

Of course not. Are ye daft, man!?

If a moving object is armored in that way, it would likely just bounce away.
Not to mention the fact that The Candy Corn Defense is not meant to be applied to moving objects.

That'd be like trying to armor a fighter jet with barbed wire and land-mines.

Oh you will be they just haven't caught up with you yet. I was at the post office and saw your mugshot on one of the "most wanted" list. If I was strapped for cash I would have taken you in a long time a go but you're nice so I guess ill wait till you kill a puppy or something. That'll give me the moral drive to turn you in therefore taking precedent over friendship biggrin

no you like most people who haven't looked into this little jaunt in history we call "world war 2" think that a rail gun is a hand held weapon like you might've seen in the Star Wars: Dark Forces and Jedi Knights games. The true nature of a rail gun is that it's a giant damn piece of artillery which is... are you ready for this? mounted on a train car, and subsequently on train tracks, or "rails" thus: rail gun.

Although the term has in more recent years been applied to certain experimental arms involving really powerful magnets running along the barrel of a gun and useing magnetism to fling a bullet in a sort of sling shot fashion. This once again is a bit impracticle for most people, although apparently according to Metal Gear Solid logic a simular system could be used to deliver ICBMS. That's pretty well not true though. And in any case a rail gun simply isn't likely to be small enough to actually hold, and it certainly isn't legeal to use.

It's what we in my business call a "distructive device"

Hey don't get me wrong, when I think of rail gun I think of large train hauled weapon but I got a little suspicious when a kid in the CBB started rambling on about having one. As he went on my brain did that little thing, you know when it screams "wait wait wiat....something's wrong" But before I argue a point I prefer to get some accurate information so I didn't end up on the a** end of it. Thanks to you however I will be able to quickly resolve this matter. I just thought there was a new development in arms technology that I missed out on sweatdrop
