gundamwarrior13 "Sing." *The lone word lingered in the air after it was spoken. As the command was uttered he spread his grasp on her to her voice and drew the song out of her. At the same time he delved his shadow deeper into hers to feel out her latent magic.* Sapphire begins to sing a song that she'd felt herself forgotten. She was sining the song of the loss of the 9 kingdoms. The song of the stepmother had she won over the kingdoms. Inwardly Sapphire was crying. No, I don't want this. This isn't my song.

*Torret's frustration built as she sang the song. This song was nothing like what he wanted her to sing. And he couldnt trace her magic at this rate. She was restraining so much inside her still. This wasnt going to work. He stopped forcing her to sing.* "You still resist that which is within you. Why? Draw it out. It is what you are meant to be."

gundamwarrior13 *Torret's frustration built as she sang the song. This song was nothing like what he wanted her to sing. And he couldnt trace her magic at this rate. She was restraining so much inside her still. This wasnt going to work. He stopped forcing her to sing.* "You still resist that which is within you. Why? Draw it out. It is what you are meant to be." "Then get out of my head." Sapphire says her voice cracking with tears. "You wnat me to try and draw it out, you want me to be totally emotional?" Sapphire asks Torret the tears spilling over her eyes. "I will sing for you, if that is waht you want." Sapphire says bringing her hands to wipe her eyes.

She sings the song she wrote about the Muffin. It gave her the most feeling made her feel happy and content. It was her life. She pours her heart and soul into the song.

The song stirred something inside him but he ignored the feeling as he lost himself in Sapphire's song.* As Sapphire sings her mind fills with images of the people in the Muffin and her face lights more and more with a smile. She glows bright white during the pure and happy parts of the song and turns dull during the sad parts.

*As Sapphire's emotions rose and fell with the feeling of the song, the emotions stirring inside Torret became more and more prominent in his mind. At one of the sadder parts of the song images of his childhood locked in the all white rooms flooded with bright white lights flashed into his mind. The fear and hatred he had in those times was so strong his mental barrier dropped and the memories were born open to Sapphire.*

The fear and hatred he had in those times was so strong his mental barrier dropped and the memories were born open to Sapphire.* In her startlement of the sudden images comes to her sight, ones that she knew to not be hers. Sapphire stops singing with a choke. Sapphire begins to cry again. She know understands why Torret hated the light so, why he fled from it.

I'm sorry, Torret. I am sorry that you went through that." Sapphire wipes slowly at the tears. I didn't mean to do that." Sapphire was horrified. She didn't want to see those things.

*He lifted his hand in a clenched fist, unable to find words to vocalize his thoughts. He was furious and ashamed at the same time. His fury ebbed as the image of a woman stepping into the room eclipsed his previous thoughts. As she entered the room with him the lights went out and she hurried over to him. At this time he remembered the connection to Sapphire's mind and severed the link, glaring at her as his emotions continued to run amuck in his mind.*
