I took a break from my current cross stitch project...the one my parents got me down south, although I am almost finished with it (I'll post that when it's done 3nodding ), so I could work on some Christmas presents for some friends. Now all I need to do is figure out how to attach them to canning jar lids. sweatdrop


^ this one is for my friend, MilaAlahied. Her jar will be filled with Friendship Tea, it's a recipe my mom's best friend gave her years ago, made with instant tea, Tang, instant lemonade, and some spices...it's really good. My friend is a big tea drinker, so I'm sure she'll love it. She also loves squirrels and spends a lot of time feeding the squirrels in her backyard.


^ this one is for my friend, TrinityBourne. She loves penguins, so it'd be obvious for me to cross stitch the penguin. She's not a fan of tea, so I couldn't make the Friendship Tea for her, but she loves hot chocolate...so I'm filling her jar with hot cocoa mix.

If I can get the computer to cooperate, I'll try and post pics of the finished jars.

I finally finished the cross stitch project my parents bought me as a souvineir. Yay! Here it is!

Fixed! My only problem with it is I wish they gave a darker grey thread...you can't see the arrow heads. xp
