angelmage99 That's a bit extreme. My mom doesn't like her step-mother, but she doesn't banned me from talking to her. My parents are the type that like to take extreme actions and then say that they are only doing it because they think it is best for me. The thing about them is that they refuse to see how their extreme actions will effect me in the long run. They shut down my computer and said I'm never to touch one again. And while it keeps me away from my brother, it also 1) keeps me away from my school work. So I had to start senior year all over again because my mother changed my curriculum. You know I've never actually finished a curriculum in my 13 years of grade school. 2) keeps me away from the independent music study I was doing. I'm going away to a really expensive college this year to major in music education and I can't even read sheet music. The only reason I can play a few instruments is because I taught my self. 3) keeps me away from my Synthasia, which is the program I was using to learn pieces of music. I was almost fluently playing Alla Turca Rondo and now that is not going to happen. 4) keeps me away from Mango Languages. One of my goals this year was to finish learning German and maybe study more languages, since I was going to be teacher of kids who probably did not speak English. But now I can not. 5) I was writing a book and now I can not do my research. 6) I was just accepted in to the FB group for my 2020 class. I was planning on making friends before I got to college, because I have never had one before. 7) a nother one of my goals was to start a YouTube channel. My mom knew how excited I was about that. And now she's starting her own channel (Dollar Tree hauls xp please kill me) and expects me to help her because she knows no thing about internet or YouTube or tech stuff or even how to use the computer to do certain stuff like uploading videos. and cool I can't listen to my anime tunes while I work any more (u_u) So the next few years of my life are pretty much going to be hell because my parents are so... idk what they are but I really want to leave them rn.

This is something that I recommend doing a variety of ways to learn it.
