During all of this, CAT became frantic as the screaming scared her down the her living bones. Some dark monster like things, which were heartless but CAT was too far to see, came out and CAT's first action was to take cover by the baral she was near.

However, the girl had caught some words from the girl in red she thinks she met not too long ago. 'Deep Dive', 'infection','heart' and a few other possible key points were luckily to waft by CAT's ears and she became afraid but alert at the same time. Whatever this is, it could be bad since it seems to turn people into monster things, as CAT seen from the distance she was.

Shivering in fear, but her curious nature got in the way, CAT slinked closer toward whatever was going on at that house, even though the chances of her being infected is higher than the other people closer to the source...which at that moment CAT had no idea what would happen next. Now a good hearing and seeing distance away, CAT peeked from the barel she was using as a cover and listened in.

The newly formed heartless stopped its assault and started to shuffle from side to side, waiting for the right moment to begin again. Zife lowered his arm, the barrier lowered with it.
What Thrais said, they had to find a way IN, into Deep Dive. Could that be what he had been sensing? The second layer that enters his vision, but how do you penetrate into such a place. Was a Keyblade the answer?
Zife waved his free hand summoning Freedom. The Altor wasn’t sure if the worn Keyblade could help the Chasers enter Deep Dive, but it was worth a shoot. Even if it didn’t work maybe Thrais Soulblade would act as the key. Now he had to locate the second layer, the slit that teemed with darkness. The Darkness was leaking from the flower shop, but where was the exact source.
The Altor quickly scanned the house, searching for something out of place. The Heartless charged Zife while he was distracted. The Keywielder was quick to react; he wrapped his hand in light energy and thrust it into the Heartless, forcing the creature into the wall. “Thrais, do you have any idea what we’re looking for?” Zife asked jumping back.

The Chaser stood silently from a distance to observe the ruckus. He had been busy escorting the Traverse Town civilians to safer areas before finally rendezvousing with the others. What was really happening now? The cobblestone was starting to stain black as the heartless advanced. Like the sand between the stone, the black ink-like substance began to fill in the crevices. He doubted the the stone would ever regain it's true colors now. Kneeling down, he ran his fingers across the infectious substance only to find that the darkness had already merged with the cobblestone. If they didn't stop its progression now then soon all of Traverse Town would be engulfed in darkness. When the keyblade master looked into the eyes of the heartless he saw no traces of their once beloved friend and neighbor. He looked away in shame, but only for a second. The eyes of the heartless seemed to pull him closer, as if it wanted to fill in the gaps in his heart. Even the hairs on his arm seemed to pull forward the longer he stared at the heartless...No, the Infected.

He drew his rapier in preparation, but even then he had no idea what to be prepared for. Not now. All he knew was that he had to keep his distance or else he'd be taken too. In fear for once, he inched his way to the battlefield. If anyone happened to be infected what were they to do? With no sign of a cure or a reversal he could only question what they would have to precaution. What was also strange about the setting was that he saw no sign of any other heartless. Heartless usually, if not always, traveled in groups. It almost appeared as if the Infection itself frightened the heartless. When the Chaser reached Zife and Thrrais, he raised his rapier in a defensive stance. "What are we doing...?" Prinzaku asked the two in dismay. How could they hope to survive this fight when they had no plan in order? They couldn't retreat either...Unless they wanted Traverse Town to be a cesspool of Infected.

Syric paused, more than slightly confused at the way this particular heartless was being fought. He glanced around the shop to pinpoint the source of the inky blackness. From what he could tell....Well, he couldn't tell much.

"That's what I'm wondering," Syric echoed Prinz's question, "It's a heartless, right? Don't we usually, I don't know, mop the floor with them?"

Anger teemed in the large man's rich bass voice. He should have been happy to see the heartless. Well, happier, at least, that he had a clear and defined enemy again. No more pompous naval commanders or foolhardy outlaws. No more drifting aimlessly. Just dark, evil beings that looked to destroy everything. That had destroyed everything, as far as Syric was concerned.

But, Syric found himself hating the fact that this menace seemed to be returning. He saw the possibility for another unfortunate soul to turn out as he had. He glanced back at Alice, then back to the three Chasers and the one lone heartless. He moved closer to the group, icy winds swirling around his clenched fists.

"Let's get this over with already. Cut it down and we'll move on to the next!"

Three dark portals opened in the Third District, and three white-robed figures stepped out of them. Standing still a moment, the smallest of the trio spoke up softly. "She is nearby, I can sense it. Follow me." She turned and ran through the gate to the Second District, leading her companions quickly to the house where the Chasers were holding the Infected at bay. Outside the house, the other two quickly summoned a small squad of Servitor soldiers who surrounded the house, glittering scimitars and heavy blasters in hand as their masters approached the door quickly.

(( sorry again for the wait, I found out at the last minute that I'm going to be at AE this year so I crammed down on my paintings before the final cut!XDgaaagh i'm so tire dnow!))

"Tau?" Weavers were always emotional creatures, easily overwhelmed by thier emotions, but true to her trainig she knew how to overcome her grief quick enough. Mariah was gone. But there was still a chance to help others if they took the opportunity to look inside now! "Very well."

Thrais took Tau's hand, and shifted her eye sight once more, forcing herself to look at. At ALL of it- just as Prinz, Dorinda, Sin, Syric and Alice appeared on the scene.
When they asked for answers Thrais devulged what she could- but to understand completly, they had to follow the theory through to even know if it was correct.

When Syric advanced Thrais held out her hand to stop him. "No- we need it." the weaver said, her other hand goign to where she could feel her heart beating. Loudly, rapidly, pulsating with anticipation. Thrais looked directly at the gaping hole in the creatures pattern. Like a rip in space it sank into darkness so deep it frightened her. From that opening the cold infectious aur was spreding. If only they could see it.

Tau understood. They needed to go IN.
They ALL needed to go in!

"We need to go into Deep Dive. ALL of us. That's were the true infection lies! It used Mariah's heart as a doorway, and used her to effect this side and manifest into an aggressive form, but it's always been growing elsewhere. Somewhere it can effect all things. From a place where people, space, things, everything that amkes this world are connected together. We need to use the crack it opened for itself. Sh-...IT is the entrance we need to use. If we destroy it, then we'd have to wait till the infection turns someone else! The heart is the source and our path."

Ba-bump! It hit her like a train, a resounding THUD in her chest that nearly knocked her over.
'It's no use... I can't contain it anymore. It's like.. it knows.

The Infected Heartless looked directly at her like it could see something it liked. Drawn to a lgiht that began to shine from inside the weavers body, like a candle light shining through a paper shade. Burning. It was burning right through her. If she didn't unsheath it now, surely her own form would melt away.
She prayed the link that bound them together before during the last battle, would resonsate with enough power to bring about what she hoped would happen.

"Come out!"

The weavers fingers sank into her own chest, she locked her hands over the hilt, and in a deft grip she ripped the hot steel right out of her body. It beat like the source it was made from, it was hot molten gold steel stright from the kelm. When it cooled the golden light solidifed into it's new form.
A keyblade.

Just like it's kind, the key tugged on her grip, pointing itself at the enemy, sensing the job it had to do with it. The Keyblade's presence seemed to be provoking the Infected Heartless. It charged and Thrais ran to meet it, at the last second she jumped and stepped on it's outstretched claw, jumping over it like a spring board and landed behind it.

" We need to pin it," she said upon landing- loud enough they could all hear, " Everyone we to get it to hold still just long enough to slip this in, weaken it's defences, so I can to unlock it! Tau, I need your help to re-inforce the bond threads between us, once I restore the door it shattered, I'll shift completly and Dive,...and Drag You all with me!"

The creature spun around once it realized the heart it could taste in the air was behind it now. With a screeching like nails on a chalk baord it clawed around at her, Thrais dodges and came back around towards them. In her shifted vision she could see the bright individual patterns that wove her friends anc comrads together. Some more complex or confuing then others, some rbight and cheery and pretty to behold, while others a tangle of things uncertain and undefined.. and then...
the ones outside.

Dorinda nodded her head, though she was still confused on who the man was talking to and the way he was acting to her. She sheathed Sin (k) back into its sheath, nodded towards Rix and both of them jumped onto the heartless as well. With one on each side of the heartless that appeared to have been a friend of Thrias and Prinz, they grabbed the arms of the creature and pinned them down, trying to avoid the scratches and the biting the creature tried to inflict upon them.

Rix made a quick glance at Thrais. "Are you saying you guys found a way to get there? To Deep Dive? How and when did you found this out???"

Dorinda did a small look at her "twin". "Can this wait till after we get there? Stop biting you stupid thing!" She glared at the monster itching to hit it.

The old man nodded his head in agreement, no amount of brute force of mental power would be enough to go to this Deep Dive, but at the same time, neither would the spirit power of one's heart be enough. Thrais was the best at what she can do with the spirit, being able to heal one down to the core, and he was probably one of the best of using his mind.

He re-focused his psionic grip upon the shards of glass that were now embedded in this creature's arms and legs, trying to have them tug against the direction it wanted to swing, like a puppet master pulling on the strings. All he need was enough time to concentrate on his connection between the Weaver and hopefully his friends would catch on as the creature struggled to move until it's strength snapped the glass fragments inside its arm.

"Hey guys, hold him in place, would ya?" He asked as his body became rigid and his eyes began to glow a deep lavender. Tau reached out for Thrais with the ethreal threads of his hand, the true essence of his mind and mentality gave the Weaver the image of a silver ghost of a great bear encompassing and surrounding Tau, like a guardian force. A paw of his force extended to her like his hand. Each and every strand of hair and each and every line in the paw was a integral weaving of his mind's eye, showing how strong he was on the inside. "Thrais, I am read when you are." He spoke to the young girl as the paw folded and melted into a hand, a simple hand to hold on to, leaving the rest of the arm to peal back, tendrils of ethreal thread poised in position, like mythril needles ready to sew threads of liquid platinum strings together with the weaver.

Their leader raised a hand, stopping the others in the doorway as she examined the scene, listening to Thrais' revelation. "Interesting...Supreme must be notified at once. See to it, Tycho, and hold a containment pattern in case it tries to bolt." One of her companions nodded, stepping back through the door and taking direct control of their retinue, ready to mow down any unwanted visitors that should come while his focused on the more important matter.

To Thrais, the outsiders looked like rag dolls, pieces of patterns and weaves stitched together by some obscene dark force, save for their leaders. Their native threads burned brightly, a cage of light tightly bound around fragments of shadow that had been twisted through them in a crude yet almost masterful way. The three leaders were each a unique mesh of light and dark, and each bore the signature of the same crafting hand- as did the girl who had followed them from Port Royal.

Isabel merely nodded a confirmation, pushing her former captive back towards the door. A gust of cold wind whistled around her blade, making the enchanted steel sing excitedly. Her pattern pulsed brightly and seemed to breathe, and there was something tangibly familiar about it, as if Thrais had seen it before somewhere. But what stood out the most was the weave of flickering threads around the young woman's eyes, as if the pattern of space were pulled, bunched and tangled around them. The threads were dark now, but sparks danced along them like the faint glow of flame at the wick of a snuffed candle. With a whispered, "I have him," Isabel cut across and behind the Infected and slashed fiercely at the thing's back.

While all the noise was happening, CAT's head popped up from the barrel she was using as a cover and took a look at what was happening. The monster thing was attacking the group and more people came to the scene. Some bright key things came around too and that was already at the point CAT was trying to get out of the way from the large problem. However, CAT wouldn't be CAT if she successed getting out of a simple barrel. Half stuck, CAT was trapped in the area she was and falling over enough to start rolling closer to the fight, not that she wanted to.

The gravity of the situation felt only heavier in the direct presence of this Infected creature, but the silenced warrior listened intently to the words Thrais spoke. It felt unreal. To be this close to the suffocating void once again, and this time, they were to step into the depths of its domain. Deep Dive. It was as if the name itself was alive, pulsing in her head as if with a threat, and Alice further tightened her grasp on her blade. The familiarity was unsettling; she felt the pull of the darkness inching towards her core. The woman wasn't so pure yet after all. While she could still wield her weapons, while the traces of her former self remained--that would always be the truth. She could not speak as long as Shackle remained in her hand, but it gave her the strength she would need in facing an enemy she was not familiar with. However, like all her weapons, the seven-bladed sword was a part of her soul. Yet it radiated with such dark energy. A pure black energy that connected with her vessel, reaching into its center to feed it the power she needed for battle. There was no mistaking it, the blade was weapon that rested in the shadows of her soul. Mako, darkness--these allowed Shackle to serve its purpose. It wasn't all that bad. This was the only way she would be allowed to stay whole even when submerged in the coldest depths of the dark.

And the SOLDiER had her orders. The light would always draw the darkness to it. That would not do for her purpose. They said you should fight fire with fire. Alice would use the dark to stab the darkness in the back.

Holding a straight face, the young woman shifted the weapon in her hands, pointing it down diagonally to her side as she swiftly went forth. The closer she was to the creature, the more violent the blade in her hand became. It had begun to shake in her fierce grip the moment she drew it out, as if excited by the presence of this strange new foe. Alice knew why, and she would have to use that to her advantage. It felt bitingly cold in her hand, and were she not wearing gloves, she was sure it would burn right through her skin. As much as Alice Breaker hated fighting, Medea Ender lived it. That was a soldier's only way. Her eyes for the slightest instant glowed that familiar electric green as she rapidly closed in on her target, spun right before it as she ferociously brought all seven blades up across the creature's body.

Just as she expected, the weapon liked this--this contact with its own kind. And as the blades connected with the creature, Alice felt the dark void pull against her, as if it were taking back what belonged to it. Through her own weapon, wrapping around her hands, crawling towards her arms and reaching further still. She grimaced. The proximity was suffocating. The warrior could succumb to this, but she wasn't that weak. She wouldn't let it overcome her. Not a second time. Instead, she used this gravitation to pierce the endless dark, twisting the blade as if to bury it in as she practically dug her feet into the ground.

Maki skidded to a halt behind the other's. All sorts of magic and darkness clashed together and she almost felt like she'd be slammed into a nearby wall if she didn't hold steady. "The hell is going on?!" She tried to shout to anyone who'd answer. "It's just another heartless isn't it?!"

((Sorry I've been super busy myself. School about to start and everything. gonk ))
PostPosted: Tue Aug 17, 2010 10:40 pm

His hard, gray-blue eyes regarded Maki for a moment. His mind reeled back to the Chaser's would-be final assault those few years ago. A smirk crossed his lips, but left as quickly as it appeared.

"Apparently not." Syric's response was flat and as cold as the ice crawling across the floor.

While his apprentice kept the "heartless" occupied, the large man wound rings of frost around the creature's form from a distance. Though it grated immensly on his nerves to be gentle, the only outward display of this was the sudden clench of his powerful fists. A loud crack! filled the air as the frost surged forward, upward, and outward, resulting in a thick layer of ice. It covered the heartless' lower body and pinned it's feet to the ground.

He wasn't sure how long it would hold but, if he concentrated on it, Syric figured it would at least hamper the beast. The retired assassin knew just how quickly a plan could turn south, however, and decided not to become overly confident. While keeping a hand clenched, channeling enough energy and moisture to keep the ice solid, Syric's free hand pulled a saber free of it's scabbard. His whole body tense, the towering warrior adopted a defensive stance.

((Alright and the curtan rises!))
Cue: Night of Fate

Thrais more felt, then actually looked at Tau.
This old man who's true mental avatar manifested on the peripheral spectrum she was looking through. The layer were mental and spiritual crossed hairs. She kept that layer outlined over the physical so she didn't loose sight of were everything was. But it did make the physical plane more foggy. Not too foggy that it posed a danger though.

She then reached for him, for Tau's etherial hand with her own, her body rippled and shifted along with her vision. When their fingers touched it would send a shock through them and outwards that passed through everyone.
Like that shiver you get when the adrenalin begins to rush through your veins.
The platinum threads coursed out between their hands, and wraped themselves around all the surounding entities they were meant to find.
Binding like a braid pattern over the golden threads that were established bonds, everyone effected would be profoudly aware of Thrais and Tau now.
They would feel Thrais's beating heart and surging emotions, they'd experiance the sound and pathological steeled logic that was Tau.

Thrais's hand would slip right through Tau's now, as if she was a ghost, but the platinum strands remained, and she turned towards the creature. With a quick leap she landed right on top of it's frozen frame! Stradling the front on her knees she lifted the keyblade above her head and in the next second- she stabbed it inside.
The key slid right in- fitting perfectly, and dark miasma spilled from the opening,. It was so potant it felt it was burning her eyes. Gripping the hilt tightly she shoved it deeper and turned it to one side with all her might.

"RESTORATION!"

This was it. Thrais shifted spectral completely and her 6 wings extended to their full normal size.
She was a winged ghost, and as such she connected to everyone. Some she didn't think she even now yet- they'd all feel her presence reaching in and locking around them in a vice grip.

She felt the door reform were the key connected with the creature.

Thrais forced it to open for her and then she Dived.
Deep.
Down.

She dived, soared, flew down through the opening, and with her she pulled everyone else!

It would be like the world inverted and they were all yanked from somewhere inside, as the universe was pulled over onto itself. The verticle and horizontal would switch, and all faded to a deep blackish blue. Like being at the bottom of the ocean. They'd fall down, drift with the current.
Below they would see the white bird which was the weaver flying far down below them towards a distant light.
Her decent created a wake that pulled them all down with her into the world's deep dive.

Into Traverse Towns Deep Dive.
